Riot is truly a music company not a video game company.
I was watching old worlds songs n opening ceremonies, i realised lol worlds ceremony are better than olympics (post 2012) or fifa.
We are truly lucky

I'm super tired of watching all these posts talk about how dungeons need to be more valuable because that's the only place you can be a healer.
This is just outright wrong. You can do group content in the open world doing quests, in fact I found it SIGNIFICANTLY more fun questing/mob farming with 1-2 people than doing a dungeon.
If you want to be unethical run a druid and aoe farm with a prot warrior, I personally think you could get to level 60 in 4 days just doing that. It's insanely strong from my testing.

What is it with men in their 40s driving oversized, obnoxious vehicles, failing to indicate, and sitting practically in your back seat? Find a hobby that doesnāt involve driving a mobile ego around Sydney and taking up half the parking spaces.
UPDATE: Shoutout to the rational, normal human beings who don't need a Ford Ranger to compensate for their microscopic egos and room-temperature IQs. Some of you are driving around with two brain cells fighting for third place, tailgating, refusing to indicate, and parking like absolute fuckwits. I can only assume half of you are compensating for your lack of personality, testosterone, and a marriage worth saving, considering your wives are probably getting railed by another bloke while you're sitting in the corner chair of a hotel room being a cuck. And after all that, you still couldn't pick a Hilux, which is built better. Imagine being that fucking stupid. Special kids' classroom behaviour, oversized ute budget.

Just a rant, TLDR at the bottom.
Why are so many people on this subreddit downplaying the healer role? Ever since the dungeon update happened. A lot of healers come out and state that they won't heal because of it, or when people point out that there's a healer shortage, I keep seeing comments like, "It's low level, you don't need to spec into healing," "A Ret Pally can heal just as well as a Holy Pally," or "You can heal most dungeons fine as an off-spec until 60."
Healing, even in retail, has always involved some kind of mana management. Sure, DPS classes have access to healing spells, but how many times can you actually cast them before running out of mana? For most classes, not very many. Paladins and Enhancement Shamans, for example, don't prioritize Intellect as their main stat, meaning they'll burn through their mana after just a handful of healing spells, and you'll just have to sit there watching each of your team members die out.
One of the main reasons to spec into healing at lower levels is mana efficiency. And please, don't tell me to just use Rank 2 instead of Rank 3 to save mana. Two Rank 2 heals provide roughly the same healing as one Rank 3, meaning you're spending more time casting for the same result.
For everyone claiming you can heal any dungeon before level 60 without specing into healing, please give it a try and upload the run to YouTube. I'd genuinely love to see how you do it because it can be a great learning experience for healers who play this game.
Even HOT at levels 13ā15 can be rough for healers. At that level, most healers have access to only one Rank 2 healing spell, and there are mobs in HOT that deal AOE damage that can potentially wipe the entire group if people aren't positioned properly. Now imagine trying to keep everyone alive with less than 500 mana because you lack the appropriate talents and Intellect gear.
If we're already dealing with a healer shortage, why are we discouraging people from playing other classes as healers by pretending the role requires little to no investment?
Please stop making tanking and healing sound easier than they are. These roles are already hard enough to fill without people dismissing the challenges that come with playing them.
TL;DR: Just because a class has healing spells doesn't mean it can effectively heal a dungeon. Mana efficiency, talents, and Intellect matter even at lower levels. If you think any class can heal dungeons just fine without specing into healing, I'd love to see you prove it. We already have a healer/tank shortage, so let's not pretend these roles are as easy as some of these comments make them out to be.

Iāll be straight with you - I came here to vent my angry rant about Metro 2039. I added Kingdom Come: Deliverance only as an extra example.
Metro 2039: Iāll be honest - Iām from Russia and my main language is Russian. For those who care so much, I donāt support what my government is doing.
Just what the fuck, 4A Games? Completely abandon the Russian language! Fine, maybe just the voice acting, but completely abandoning the Russian text? Thatās some kind of madness. Youāre making a game based on a work by a Russian author(In Russia, Glukhovsky was given the status of a foreign agent.), set in - for Godās sake - Moscow Metro. You really want to tell the story of a totalitarian fascist regime, but you canāt even be bothered to add Russian dialogue. Itās like in Wolfenstein refusing to include German speech.
I canāt think of a single rational reason for such an idiotic decision. You canāt work with Russian voice actors? Sony keeps releasing games in Russian. Hell, even in Stalker 2 there was Russian text. The irony is that Ukrainian voice acting is present in the game, which essentially means instead of shooting Russian-speaking aggressors I get to shoot Ukrainian-speaking ones. Bravo, 4A Games.
Kingdom Come Deliverance: The developers justified the lack of Czech dialogue by lack of time, which I find complete stupidity considering itās a Czech studio making a game about medieval Czech history. Fortunately, they fixed the mistake in the second part.

I (22M) work in a big west coast city in Banking. I grew up partly in Russia where tipping is absolutely not mandatory and none of my friends or relatives there ever really ātipā unless itās a private event/venue for a big celebration. In the US, where I grew up after childhood, Iāve always tipped 20% or more for actual sit down service, but never at coffee shops or when Iām just ordering a single drink and grabbing it from the bar (bar service). Iāve always found that itās on the establishment to pay their employees a living wage especially when they charge premiums for simple drinks.
So I was out with my colleagues today after a tiring day in our office, we are all in our 20s. We took turns ordering rounds (4 of us) and I was the 4th and last to order.
I was waiting patiently at the counter the whole time. The female bartender literally walked 2 steps to the tap to pour our draft beers, and handed them to me with a literal twist of her body. I brought them all back (2x2) to our table. When I paid, I instinctively left 0 tip because I was already paying 40 bucks (10 per draft) and servicing myself (she walked a grand total of 2 steps). Had she brought our beers over, I would have obviously tipped.
30 seconds later, she marches over while Iām mid conversation about a recent deal weāre working on with my colleagues. She interrupts us and confronts me over the tip, aggressively saying that tipping is ābasically requiredā in our city and thatās how she gets paid. I politely tried to get her to fuck off but she wouldnāt budge. I left 1 dollar and asked her to leave me alone, which she finally did.
We finished up our round and while my American colleague told me he would have tipped, my colleague from Europe 100% backed me and agreed she fucked up. We made our way to the lobby, and I told them one minute guys Iām gonna have a quick word.
I politely ask for the manager, and the front desk hands me a landline with the manager on dial. I politely informed him of what went down and how she cornered me in front of my colleagues, and how Iāve always had corporate drinks at their place (tipping for full service) and this is the oddest/most unpleasant bartender Iāve ever experienced. I asked him if this was normal or if I genuinely was in the wrong, in which case I apologize and will drop it, and he told me āabsolutely not, Iām going to talk to her asapā.
I thanked him and told him Iām not trying to be an ass or make any demands. Iāll still be coming here regularly but I just thought you should know. He apologized again and told me he completely understood. That was that. Iām not gonna follow up, demand any action, be aggressive, or leave a bad review, especially with how apologetic he was. Literally itās closed.
I walked to the metro station with my European colleague and he again told me one on one how he 100% agreed with me, and we dropped it shortly after.
AITA for this?

Since the Beta release of Forever, it feels like every other post is another 'vibe coded' addon or another 'vibe coded' website that 'tracks' something, it's generally annoying, spammy, slop.
Surely they can have a seperate sub or some sort of rule restricitng this spam?

This might sound stupid but getting this tattoo was a decision I donāt regret. I remember last year after watching Trailer 2 of GTA6 and just getting so inspired to actually take better care of myself. I told myself I donāt want to die without playing this gamešI got this tattoo after being 6 months sober. Seeing Jasonās physique inspired me to get into the gym. As of now Iāve gained 55 pounds just from working out and maintaining a better diet. My fiancĆ© was against me getting this tattoo I got it anyway, now she loves it cause she understands the significance it holds in my life. Weāre a month away from witnessing history. I feel like a kid again I canāt waitā¤ļø

No one can know for certain where either economy will be in 2, 3, or 5 years. Setting a merger date before Reignited launches doesn't make any sense, but it does ruin the excitement for those interested in playing it.
All that is really needed is a commitment that IF either economy on its own becomes truly unsustainable OR they stabilize within a negligible margin of each other, then there would be a merge.
If you can't fill a GE offer of 1k for a basic bowl when you are too lazy to visit the General Store to complete a new quest or holiday event, that's a problem. If you can't reliably hit buy limits on skilling supplies, that's an even bigger problem.
If >99% of items on both GEs are within <1% price/supply of each other years down the line, then keeping the economies separate becomes a completely arbitrary restriction.
It will suck not being able to freely trade with new friends on main accounts in the meantime, but it is what it is. Most people get their stuff from the GE anyway.

I have to say I'm pretty disappointed in Joanne, it was only a few months ago that Jimmy Fallon had Conor Mcgregor on as a guest a well known šist - Fallon never acknowledged the blowback he got for platforming this scumbag Mcgregor, Fallon didnt seem to care tbh and now you have Joanne who couldn't care a less either and appearing on his show, i understand she's desperate to break America audiences but interesting to see she doesn't stand with Nikita Hand on this. Thoughts?

My lovely fiance surprised me with a 2.5ct natural asscher cut ring. I love it and I'm so grateful, but sometimes I feel like it looks huge! We had tried on 1.5 and 2 carats together when looking for rings, so I was expecting something closer to that size. He said he picked this one because you can see the steps/cuts in the larger asscher diamonds better vs the smaller ones. Does it seem too large for me? The place he bought it from would buy it back from us at a slight loss if I wanted to trade down a size but idk. I love it because he chose it for me and I guess I'm just a little self conscious? Can anyone relate??
Edit: Jfc š sorry everyone is offended by my car for some reason. I was just trying to show the ring on my hand from up close, medium distance, and farther away for size perspective. I am very lucky and grateful to have these things and am genuinely not trying to brag. I'm actually feeling self conscious about the ring because I don't want to be too showy!! Thank you to the people with legitimate feedback

No, this isn't a troll post or baiting. As the title says, I liked the story, and it made the cutscenes feel more complete with full context, as is the case for most cutscenes. However, i don't look down on those that dislike it for whatever reason. it is their right to not agree, and I accept that! but the part at the end did surprise me, and made me smile that TWW is going to be made relevant again to a degree.
