Dushyant Kumar Gautam, who has been under the cloud of questions regarding the alleged VIP angle in the Ankita Bhandari murder case, has been appointed as the Governor of Sikkim during the tenure of the BJP government.

Ankita bhandari case:

19-year-old Ankita Bhandari, receptionist at Vanantra Resort (near Rishikesh), was murdered on the night of 18 September 2022.

She was killed after refusing pressure to provide special services to guests, including an alleged VIP.

Resort owner Pulkit Arya (son of then-BJP leader Vinod Arya) and two staff members -Saurabh Bhaskar and Ankit Gupta forcibly took her to the Chilla canal and pushed her in.

Her body was recovered on 24 September 2022. Cause of death: drowning with ante-mortem injuries.

All three were convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment on 30 May 2025.

Resort demolition & distruction of evidence:

On the intervening night of 23–24 September 2022 (just after the accused were arrested and before the body was fully recovered/processed), bulldozers demolished parts of Vanantra Resort, including rooms and structures linked to the crime scene.

The family, activists, and some former officials alleged the hurried late-night demolition destroyed or compromised crucial forensic evidence (possible DNA, hair, biological traces, mattresses, CCTV, etc.).

If you're from North India, you must've heard how some random average guy or girl got a teaching job in a government school just because their father is filthy rich and knew a guy.

Hey everyone,
My current qualifications include a 3yr Bsc Honours in maths from delhi university, done in 2020, and then i enrolled in MSc straight away in DU itself, but becuase of some really personal financial/family issues in covid, i could only do one year - from 2020 to 21, and then i had to start working ... I mean i got a good job as a financial analyst and that's fine i guess, becuase my marks and skills were somewhat ok i feel, but still i feel like a phd could make sense or such for which i need whole masters degree.

but bcz standard "span period" was 4 years , so now what could i do to complete it....I mean i just feel too lazy now to give entrance like CUET or such, and then start from complete scratch- is there like a way to get somehow 1st year recognized and give 2nd year exams and assesssments etc...
it could be in DU itself, it could be elsewhere...

Kindly suggest.
With Love & Regards ❤️

Under Delhi's existing electricity subsidy scheme:

Households consuming up to 200 units per month receive a 100% subsidy on energy charges.

Households consuming 201–400 units per month receive a 50% subsidy, capped at ₹800.

A new requirement announced in October 2026 calls for Aadhaar proof or authentication for subsidy beneficiaries. Consumers are also expected to opt in through the prescribed process and renew their choice annually.
