There are a lot of police in Lawrenceville for a funeral this morning. Not sure about the odd driving.

Couldn't tell with the continued deluge of "thinking of moving to Pittsburgh" posts.

We have a similar one over in Youngstown. I'll grab a pic next time I am by it.

Unfortunately, My business deals with Lobo...they don't pay their bills so nobody wants to do work for/with them. So, most of their properties get run into the ground.

Pittsburgh has the issue of people not wanting to actually live in the city. I live there b/c my partner works at a major university and we wanted to live in the city. We probably paid 100k more than our house would be worth in the suburbs and I pay 5 figs in city income tax, it was a huge deal when we were looking. If I moved 3 miles away I think we would have a much nicer house for our budget and I would be saving the equivalent of a decent civic a year in taxes

It's Urban Area not MSA. The Urban Area are contiguously densely developed census blocks independent of other geographical boundaries where the MSA uses whole counties. None of the Pittsburgh Urban Area is in Fayette County.

It is worth mentioning that the US Census updated its operational policy on the definition of an urban area between 2010 and 2020. The exact specifics of this update are found in a pdf available in this website https://www.census.gov/programs-surveys/geography/guidance/geo-areas/urban-rural.html
Without knowing anything about the people putting this data together, I wouldn't trust something that attempts to define their methodology in two sentences. And one of those sentences just seems like a weird appeal to authority.

absolutely couldn’t agree more!!! as pittsburgh drivers, we ALL have had our fair share of people pissing us off on the roads. but i don’t know a single situation, other than like you said being held at gunpoint or something, that you should ever use your vehicle as a weapon. wild behavior.

Cranberry will be great. South of the city (think Peters / South Fayette / N. Strabane) could work, anywhere on 51 would be solid. East of the city, I'm not as familar, but would think Monroeville might have great spaces?

Incidentally, aluminum awnings like that were one of the things the scrapper took from here

Sportsman's Warehouse is where I go. I bring in the reel I want respooled and buy the fishing line from them.
