Am I still pansexual or different label? I'm attracted to people regardless of their sex or gender, but I'd only date them if their personality is good or we have slight connection. (sorry if this sounds dumb.)

So iβve been pan for like a solid two or three years, and last year I socially transitioned from a girl to a boy. when I was identifying as a girl, I was largely attracted to girls and non-binary people with little to no interest in men, but I still knew I was attracted to them. since socially transitioning, iβm now attracted mostly to men and non-binary people, and not so much women, but I still know Iβm attracted to them. has this happened to anyone else? ive been considering if itβs the spaces im in that are just less populated with women, but im really not sure. with my non women crushes, theyβve felt a lot more strong of an emotion than my women crushes, which I didnβt have many of in the first place now that im thinking about it. Maybe I always had a preference for men and didnt notice because I wasnβt in male dominated spaces or fandoms like I am now? Im not sure, what do yβall think.

Hey everyone!
I've recently become interested in pansexual-coded, panromantic-coded, and demi-panromantic-coded male characters, and I'm curious whether anyone else enjoys exploring these kinds of characters in movies, television, books, or original stories.
One thing that interests me is the possibility of male characters who develop romantic feelings through a meaningful emotional connection. I also enjoy exploring men who have personalities that go beyond traditional stereotypes about masculinity and who can be caring, protective, funny, emotionally expressive, or simply interesting in their own unique ways.
I'm especially curious about characters whose identities aren't explicitly confirmed but whose personalities, relationships, or experiences might lead viewers or readers to interpret them as pansexual or demi-panromantic. I understand that being coded as something isn't the same as having a confirmed identity, and I'd love to hear how other people interpret these characters.
I'm also interested in creating my own original male characters inspired by these themes. I'd like to explore their personalities, relationships, emotional connections, and identities without making their sexuality or romantic orientation their entire personality.
So, I'd love to ask a few questions:
- Do you have any favorite pansexual, panromantic, or demi-panromantic male characters?
- Have you ever interpreted a male character as pan-coded or demi-panromantic-coded, even when it wasn't explicitly confirmed?
- Are there any books, movies, or television shows you'd recommend?
- Do you enjoy creating original characters with these identities or characteristics?
I'd love to hear your thoughts and recommendations! I'm looking forward to discovering characters and stories I might not have encountered before.
