Full disclosure, I'm the Bay Area organizer for this project. Change.vote is a free, nonpartisan guide: put in your address and you'll see every race and measure on your Mountain View ballot explained in plain language. No account, no telling you how to vote. Glad to answer questions. Check it out!

How do I request crosswalk blinking lights at W Middlefield Road and Terra Bella intersection ?

Many school kids need to cross the road and currently there is just a crossing sign but not many vehicles respect that and stop even if there is a pedestrian waiting to cross.
Especially at night the sign may not be visible and adding pedestrian blinking lights will be much safer

My daughter got hit by a car while biking to Los Altos High School on California Street this morning. A car crossing the apartment driveway could not see her in the bike lane. All these warnings and pleas to fix their new design, and now my own daughter gets hit by a car.

Beyond disheartened that our city ignores what residents on California St keep saying, and now this. *Beyond her bike being damaged and her hands, it could have been a lot worse had she not been taught to watch for this, and still it happened.*

Remarkable what happens when someone reads the legal tax of what this $17B regressive blank check is - and knows the RTM traffic impact studies were written by transit contractors and RTM donors.
