Splurged to try this David brand I've heard good things about, bought a box at Costco 2 days ago. Didn't leave it in the sun or anything, but it's got mold under the wrapper.

Almost every time I go through this intersection the red cars stop instead of continuing on in their lane. They have a solid white line and plastic white poles separating them from the green traffic for a while, no yield sign, and then dashed for another while before the next possible turn. Traffic always unnecessarily backs up here due to people stopping and having nothing but empty road in from of them for almost 1k feet.

Ordered a Primo water dispenser from Amazon Warehouse listed as “Very Good,” and this is how it arrived. Barely any protective packaging, and neither the box nor the water dispenser survived the trip.

I feel like everyone’s a little bit at fault, but I also can’t fully point fingers because I don’t know when the damage happened. Primo’s packaging seems like the crappiest part of this whole thing. Amazon’s description didn’t match what I received, and they still shipped it out. UPS may not have done the best job taking care of the package either.

I know buying something like this in person would’ve been an option, but I currently can’t drive because of some medical issues, so delivery seemed like the easiest solution.

Now I’m trying to sort it out with Amazon, but being told it was a Warehouse purchase apparently complicates things. Used or open-box is fine. Arriving damaged is a different story.

One single cent. And of course their contact phone number just goes directly to an answering machine. I'm sure my work boots will be delayed even longer now because of this.

PetSmart rewards are use it or lose it. I had $14 and got 2 collars at $9.99 each and a bag of treats for $8.99. I figure my total will be approximately $15 + tax, but it wasn't.

Cashier tells me total and I ask if my $14 rewards have been applied. Yes. Hmmm....that total is more than I calculated, WHY?

The collars are $11.99 each (treats $8.99). Ummm, no. The collars are $9.99; per the price listed. I'm told that the collars were probably in the wrong spot.

Nope, I'm sure they're $9.99. Would I like a price check? Yes. Cashier calls for price check. Another employee slowly arrives with handheld to scan the collars. The price is $11.99; of course your handheld shows the same price as the register, but the price listed in the store is $9.99.

Sorry (not), please go to the collar aisle and check the price. And lo and behold I was right!

I realize it's $4 that I'm quibbling over, but that's a gallon of gasoline where I live.

IFTA license was suspended, but I have receipts to show I filed 7 days early, and don't owe any money. Ive filed every quarter on time as long as I've been doing this. I even paid the penalty, and still not reinstated. Dashboard says I'm missing 2011Q1. Filed that and paid the penalty even tho I didnt have an IFTA decal in 2011. Tuesday, I requested a call back, didn't get one. Today I spent almost 7 hours on hold before hearing they wouldn't have time to serve me prior to close-GOODBYE!

I need to downshift 2 or 3 gears by pressing the “-“ button before starting down a steep hill (At 80,000 lbs, not using engine breaks will fry my break pads). I either need to take my eyes off the road or pray my muscle memory hits the right button. If I accidentally hit “M”, the automated manual transmission will go into manual mode and won’t automatically shift, requiring me to unexpectedly take my eyes off the road to upshift before I blow the engine.

2024 Volvo VNL860. This all happened when I bought the truck 3 years ago, so I might be a little foggy on some of the details.

I only took delivery of this truck because they didn’t have any with the seat mounted shifter available on the lot. The dealership assured me it could be retrofitted into my truck, but I was over $12,000 into truck payments before I learned they’d charge me $2,500 to do it. I could just install the parts myself, but the truck’s computer would need to be updated to recognize the seat mounted shifter’s inputs. The software to do that costs $3,000 plus a $500/month subscription.

I wanted to check nutritional info on these chicken strips, and it was totally useless because they'd made a serving .36 oz, which is one small bite. 45 servings per pound! That makes things like fat and carbs 0%. It's basically the same thing that happens with things like tic tacs. The serving is so small they can say it's 0 calories and 0 sugar because the serving is so small. I googled it and found an old label that is marked "out of stock" on the Safeway website, so I think it's the old one before they scaled the serving down.

Literally the top 2 things aren’t even games. They’re deluxe edition upgrades for games I don’t own, on a “games under $20” sale. Why put these on the top? Made me think they were actually on sale for under $20 and that it was a steal.

Micro transactions are mildly infuriating enough, but why put that at the top of a sale that makes it seem like they’re all full games

My wife and I have been together for a little over 20 years. This entire time she's has had this silly little clock in the bathroom that she purposely sets ahead about 20 minutes. She says this is because she wants to know when she'll be done in the bathroom in the morning while getting ready. She's an actual smart person, like one of her three degrees is in math, so I know she can figure out what time it will be 20 minutes from now yet still she keeps it set ahead. It's really crazy because of course it takes her longer than 20 minutes to get ready in the morning.

One day without warning about five years ago, she did actually set it to the correct time. After that making me late for work one day (I just thought I was really early so took my time), I was happy I could just ignore the alarm clock...then she decided to set it back, again, without warning.

So here it is today, still the wrong time, and it still irritates me every time I see it.

(side note-- she gets annoyed if we don't change the clocks on the oven/microwave immediately during daylight savings time)
