Highlight Oh dear god
I ended up killing them from 40 health the next turn (they played vampiric blood)

What is/was your favorite legendary card, back in the OG Hearthstone days and why?
Mine was Grommash Hellscream (kinda because of WC3 nostalgia), it just felt good using the turn 10 combo of him and a cruel taskmaster/whirlwind/inner rage, and just slapping opponents for the win.
Honorable mentions would be Tirion (an 6/6* divine shield + taunt + gives 5/3 sword (when dies) + epic music = nice) and Ragnaros because... DIE, INSECT!

I got a quest for playing 3 matches with [[Nozdormu, the Eternal]] and thought little on it, throwing him in my underfel midrange deck on the pretense of just being fodder for the portal and to complete the quest and oh my goodness.
Copy priest gets it's own Noz a good amount of the time, opting the opponent into a high speed match that they generally didn't agree to! Add to that the fact they don't even get your quest, so the deck they copy is widely less valuable than your own and you have a real heater on your hands!
The only con is, well, playing a largely underpowered deck in wild. Yknow, where most decks are winning by turn 4 (treant druid, discard lock, etc) or ones that can out muscle this like rommath mage. But hey! I'll take some tomfoolery any day! I'll drop my list below just in case, but its nothing special.

Hate the journal. Haven't read any of it. Really wish the event icon didn't disappear

Now with 300% extra damage-per-mana

Always a good reminder that the purpose of pre release brawl never has been and never will be fun, it's all about tricking the last few idiots into buying into a bundle so they can get a rush winning games against people stuck with inferior decks.
Everyone whines about priest this and warlock while the real division here is between the haves and the have nots. Blizzard wants you fighting a class war instead of a class war.

Look like this guy pass lot of time at the gym between extension. I don't know witch kind of protein he's taking but that's really effective.

That's pretty much it, having to return to the journey 8 times total to receive a single pack is not a good system. Make it better. Thanks

He got Y'Shaarj and promptly beat me with it.

Apparently if you attack into something going < 0 HP with Stone Gauntlet equipped, you are restored to 1 HP and gain no armor
Don't know if it's a bug or the intended result, but it was counterintuitive for me so i though i'd share

Guys, I feel kinda betrayed by being given just a single pack after going through all the 7 tasks of the current journal chapter...
Should I have expected less? Well, it would be better if the reward was known from the start, I would've curbed my excitement😃
Maybe a pack could be a vital thing for the brawlers, but I'm not participating either way, so I'd wish for something more... shiny?
I don't know, really. What do you feel?

Turns out doubling stats on enemy kills can snowball just a little bit.

Am I just lucky or did everyone get a legendary from their black market packs?
r/hearthstone • u/rEYAVjQD • 2h ago
The current Standard meta is horrendous, because extremely low skill cap decks have either the best win rate anyway or so marginally lower win rate than playing the highest skill cap decks that you feel like a fool playing.
I mean why would I even try playing Raza DH for 0.8% higher win rate, when I could watch memes on YouTube while playing green card on pirate warrior and win anyway?

I played C'thuun with no other minions. The fourth ability not yet used was the +2/+3. It let me click on the Old God option despite having nothing to buff but then when I used the lifesteal damage to stabilize it only did 5 AND it still ate the +2/+3 ability as my first of the two options despite not counting towards its condition.
This seems silly like I shouldn't even be able to click on it if it isn't going to count but if you are going to let it be used with no other minions it should at least count as activated for tripling?
I'm curious if using the +2/+3 from a spell on an empty board counts but after this interaction it seems like it wouldn't...

Mindrot 67, atleast he's not doing the hand thing
Edit: thank you for explaining that artists don't write the flavor text.

I know our favourite pastime on this subreddit is complaining, but we gotta hand it to the team: this new UI fucking SLAPS. There's still room for improvement (small fonts?) but I really think they achieved a good balance here. It looks sleek, modern, streamlined, no billion buttons on the left and right, I find it really easy to check what I want on Journal.
I've been jaded with HS for a very long time and (correctly) dreaded every new bloat and change, but this feels like a small correct step for Hearthstone as a product IMO. Am I the only one?
