Discussion It's amazing how easily this brawl goes from "This is fun" to "Oh, they bought a bundle"

Always a good reminder that the purpose of pre release brawl never has been and never will be fun, it's all about tricking the last few idiots into buying into a bundle so they can get a rush winning games against people stuck with inferior decks.

Everyone whines about priest this and warlock while the real division here is between the haves and the have nots. Blizzard wants you fighting a class war instead of a class war.

Discussion I genuinely love the new UI

Post image

I know our favourite pastime on this subreddit is complaining, but we gotta hand it to the team: this new UI fucking SLAPS. There's still room for improvement (small fonts?) but I really think they achieved a good balance here. It looks sleek, modern, streamlined, no billion buttons on the left and right, I find it really easy to check what I want on Journal.

I've been jaded with HS for a very long time and (correctly) dreaded every new bloat and change, but this feels like a small correct step for Hearthstone as a product IMO. Am I the only one?

Meme This damn stretching/bouncing ruins soooooooooo many animations. It's baffling why they continue to use it, makes all the affected cards look cheap and ugly.

Discussion The new "journey" system for quests is horrible.

That's pretty much it, having to return to the journey 8 times total to receive a single pack is not a good system. Make it better. Thanks

Standard Nice new old god you've got there. It'd be a shame if it was suddenly hijacked and destroyed for only 2 mana

Competitive I feel like assemble is just a terrible mechanic.

It is too random. I have made combos that allow me to infinitely clear their board for 4 mana and had the same against me. Some are just worse than the original minion. I say all this as an evolve player who thrives on randomness. They need to figure it out, especially if the minion pool expands.

Standard Early Assemble pools: appearance and pick rates | Firestone

Hey!

I have just started making data from Assemble pools available online: https://www.firestoneapp.com/constructed/cards/assemble

It includes overall appearance rates (so you know what can appear) and pick rates (so you know what the community feels is good in general).

Appearance and pick rates for cards offered when Assembling with Fleshshape

As usual, use these stats with discretion - they are aggregated over the whole player base, and what you Assemble heavily depends on the current situation you're in, so what is good in general might not be good for your own specific board state.

This will be available in the Firestone app (Overwolf and beta Standalone) later this week.

Discussion Stone Gauntlet: Bug or intended iteration?

Post image
• Upvotes

Apparently if you attack into something going < 0 HP with Stone Gauntlet equipped, you are restored to 1 HP and gain no armor

Don't know if it's a bug or the intended result, but it was counterintuitive for me so i though i'd share
