The woman who asked Talarico about abortion last night at the Fort Worth town hall -- and they disagreed -- says here she still might vote for him because "he's centrist, and everyone seems extreme"

Talarico tries to tackle the "God is non-binary" thing (attack ads!) and almost seamlessly weaves Charlie Kirk saying "God is above gender" in here

Full-time Disney adult and 2am poster Donald J. Trump, who has at least three times held the Bible upside down for a photo opp, says James Talarico is a "bad man, con man" who has "said some bad things about Jesus"

Very hard to argue with this unless you wave your hand and say "I dunno, I heard about some case that happened in Seattle..." (which is, er, not Texas)

"Honestly, the Texas GOP got completely hijacked by the whims of Trump and a weird version of Christianity. I'm out -- for now, at least."

Rogan saying this right now (odd timing) would imply he might have 'Rico on around Oct. 27, endorse him, and that's the "October surprise"

Culture wars are the greatest distraction of our age -- and yet, ya know what? In little old Fort Worth, America's 10th-largest city now, I hear this Miller quote parroted back by guys all the time. Your kids may not have jobs. You want to discuss gender?

One party has ruled over Tarrant (and now one church as well) for about three decades -- the church has about five years of running the show here from the sidelines.

If you think your life is great/better, keep 'em in.

If not, take 'em out.

It will be rough the other way, yes. Politics doesn't "save" people.

But let's see something different at least.

Early voting starts Monday. Locations are pinned in this sub.

I'm personally voting against MAGA, Abbott/Paxton/O'Hare/etc, their beliefs don't line up with mine. They preach about personal rights, but then take away the rights of people not like them... Ie my wife (woman) and trans kids.

Jeeze! Paxton being elected AG was like making a fox the supervisor for a chicken coop!

Paxton’s corruption is astounding! If it wasn’t immoral, illegal and detrimental to Texas residents, it would almost be impressive…

"Telescope ranches" in Texas. People pay to store $10K+ telescope rigs in the middle of nowhere to escape light pollution. The warehouse roofs roll off each night, and owners remote in from anywhere in the world

In about 2.5 weeks, you will need to pay attention to and understand the motivations of this local cuckster, Nate "Patrick Clancy is my hero" Schatzline

There was a MAGA conference in The Woodlands yesterday and here he is hitting the IG money shot that he wants.

He was elected around here -- State 93. He left, tried to run for Senate 9 (Leigh vs. Taylor), got slapped down in favor of Leigh, and ended up with a "senior advisor" job under Gov. Abbott.

He is a long-time Mercy Culture guy. Senior pastor there.

His role at state is "election czar." While there have been some interviews where he says he is focusing on "the 2028 primary process for Republicans" (huh? wouldn't a state job focus on the primary process for both parties?), it seems very likely he is here to be the face of "Paxton didn't lose" in a few weeks.

He has denied the results of four elections, including Los Angeles Mayoral primaries. In all four of the denied races, a Republican lost.

His state salary is $275,000 -- that is paid in part by anyone reading this in Texas -- and ostensibly, it seems he will be "the guy" that tells you "it was rigged, Talarico didn't win" and then "goes to find evidence."

There is a lot that is easy to make fun of with this dude -- the haircut, the lilt in the voice, the videos of him in a drag race at UNT years ago, etc. -- but he is very dangerous. I don't mean in a "serial killer" way, no. I mean he exists at a high annual salary to be the face of stealing a state-wide election.

I just hope you can remember this post around Nov. 5th or so. (Don't worry; I'll bring it back if Senate, Governor, or Railroad is close.)

Another example (many now) of how this sub runs about 2-3 years ahead of S-T on any relevant issue is that they posted this article this afternoon (this sub I think was on Mercy's impact in, I dunno, 2023?)

Surveys show Democrats are leading every top race, except for Sarah Eckhardt who is trailing the True Texas Project bigot hate group Maga that owns Epstein's Zorro ranch, where bodies of abused children are alleged to be buried. Vote oct 19 to VOTE THEM ALL OUT!!

REJECT THE BILLIONAIRES. VOTE OCT 19.

When it was discovered Huffines bought Epstein's ranch, Don Huffines went on the Matt Gaetz show to explain. Matt Gaetz is a child rapist that raped a junior in high school who was raising money for braces. Gaetz was Trump's personal pick.
