Native Texan and I still live here. I don’t watch a lot of network television -usually Netflix and Amazon Prime. However I just spent a long weekend in a hotel in a different part of the state from where I live and had nothing else to do but turn on the tv.

The sheer amount of political ads running was astounding itself but the worst part was their content: Wildly loose with facts and provably inaccurate accusations and blatantly and intentionally misleading innuendos targeting the opponent’s character instead of policies or achievements.

I get a large number of political texts also and they also try to steer me to a particular outlook or reaction.

None actually mentioned a platform or agenda or plan that the candidate held. Just tabloid and. sensationalist stuff.

Never wanted to get an election cycle over with more in my life. Political exhaustion is a thing.

Every interview i see of ken paxton is so bad. He is the most uncharasmatic person i have ever seen and he sucks up to trump even when he calls him ugly or wierd. Trump has even said he doesnt like him. I feel like this is why he is dodging the debate.
