Holiday Company Party!

• Upvotes

I would love to hear from other locals where they think a fun company party could take place!

Usually this is our one chance to have a nice meal with our staff and celebrate them a little.

$50-110 per person is about our budget.

15-19 people (19 if half of them bring dates, which i doubt).

fort worth area (downtown to alliance)

we have done texas de brasil, ruth's chris main event etcetcetc. most places have set menu's that drastically limit what you can get making the dining experience lack luster in my honest opinion compared to if we just walked up to the door and said hi please seat 15 of us at several tables... at least then we can order whatever we want and not have to bicker that "the sautéed spinach wasnt in our select 3 sides"....

we play a few at the table games or bingo and give out bonus' so we dont really take up a bunch of space.

anyone have a fun or nice suggestion of places they would want to do a company party?!

Culture wars are the greatest distraction of our age -- and yet, ya know what? In little old Fort Worth, America's 10th-largest city now, I hear this Miller quote parroted back by guys all the time. Your kids may not have jobs. You want to discuss gender?

One party has ruled over Tarrant (and now one church as well) for about three decades -- the church has about five years of running the show here from the sidelines.

If you think your life is great/better, keep 'em in.

If not, take 'em out.

It will be rough the other way, yes. Politics doesn't "save" people.

But let's see something different at least.

Early voting starts Monday. Locations are pinned in this sub.

what can we do to protect r/FW?

yesterday “someone” posted a link to a fox news article on how flock stopped a kidnapping. i’m not illiterate and i can clearly see that someone is trying to sell r/FortWorth on a narrative. i think the mods need to do a better job in protecting us from clearly advertised content like that. and honesty they need to address the 50 million posts about ken pax being a piece a shit, like yes we all know he’s unfaithful can we please move on and talk about the good things in Fort Worth?

like maybe because politics are around the corner have a week or days when political posts are allowed and after that we can shut up and do other things. it’s good to inform each other every day on candidates that are looking out for us (looking at you Nydia Cardenas, Taylor Rehmet and Yisak Worku!!!!!) among others

if you care this much to spam post politics go out and volunteer. they need all the help we can get, they have teams of people working to get this done. i went to a Yisak potluck and they had an 18 year old, an 18 year old they were praising for staging a school walkout against ice. there are people who want to help and theyre doing the work. stop flooding this place

Talarico tries to tackle the "God is non-binary" thing (attack ads!) and almost seamlessly weaves Charlie Kirk saying "God is above gender" in here

With four days until early voting, Richard drops perhaps his second-ever tweet actually related to the job he is seeking for the electorate (kudos!)

Paxton’s corruption is astounding! If it wasn’t immoral, illegal and detrimental to Texas residents, it would almost be impressive…

Commissioner Manny Ramirez, the construction company grifter best known for allegedly accepting $25k in Centurion bribes then approving a $200 million tax dollar contract with the same vendor, says the majority of his constituents are paid protestors and that's why he votes against them.

REJECT THE WHITE NATIONALISTS. VOTE OCT 19.

Manuel Ramirez, who identifies as white name "Manny", attended paid True Texas Project bigot hate group events. He's best known for taking allegedly taking $25,000 in bribes from developer Centurion, and then approving a $200 million dollar project for them with your tax dollars. Manny's father has a construction company, and Manny partnered with him for several project, even though he leaves that out of any of his public platform messaging. It's unknown what ties Manny's father's company have to Centurion. Manny is known by his latino constituents in precinct 4 as Tio Thomas, the traitor.

True Texas Project is a white supremacist hate group, often called a rebranding of the Klan. Tim O'Hare is a long time leader in the group. Julie McCarty, the founder, claims she has a 100% election win rate in Tarrant County. Don Huffines, who owns Epstein ranch, is a True Texas Project regular. Pedophile Robert Morris recently donated to TTP Leigh Wambsganss.

“The reason I got on the City Council was because I saw our property values declining or increasing at a level that was below the rate of inflation,” O’Hare said at the time. “When that happens, people move out of our neighborhoods, and what I would call less desirable people move into the neighborhoods, people who don’t value education, people who don’t value taking care of their properties.”

Manny Ramirez, who votes almost 100% in step with Tim O'Hare on the big issues, had his Mom arrested by ICE. Maga Ramirez has been open about his support of expanding ICE, flock and data centers in our community. "IF HE DON'T CARE ABOUT HIS MAMA, HE SURE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU!" Vote for Nydia Oct 19!
