(I'm back again) I have survived the challenge on sculpting such even more cursed/difficult 3d sculpt this time , thanks to my friend for letting me to use her lala character as my model to work on this commission sample , yuweyawata body is one of my favorites piece of glam in this game so I'm glad that I have the chance to try to sculpt it (but yea... so many details to work on ) lighting , modeling everything from 0 , etc... so many things are more challenging to work on this time... but I indeed enjoy this work and I will keep sculpting even better one later !!!!

Every now and then I get an itch to crack open these cookbooks. I've never made anything from the second one and it just kept opening to this page, so naturally I called it's bluff. I shot a video of the cooking process which I may edit, eventually.

First off DO NOT waste your money on blue spirulina to make it galaxy colored or whatever whimsical B.S. the book says. If you have it already sure, but it does less than nothing to the flavor except maaaaaaybe a tiny hint of sweetness.

As is the usual for this series the instructions leave quite a bit up to interpretation. One ingredient it calls for is seafood stock. I went with a dashi style bonito broth but seriously it could be ANYTHING. Might as well ask me to add Landfood stock. It definitely needs seasoning after the fact. I added probably 2 tbs of salt and pepper. Plus a goodly handful of msg. Other than that the beans have a good hearty flavor and the dashi shines through a bit. I don't often cook with Caroway seeds so that and the other spices was a nice addition.

Since everyone is dressing up for All Saints Wake, I tried to come up with something that wouldn't need me to dye my bun's hair, and then I remembered Jiaoqiu from HSR exists.

:/ I do have the werewolf ears that would've technically fit with his fox ears, but they looked humongous so I just left him like this

Not extremely happy with the coat-pants combo but this was the best I had to mimic the long coat in the back and Eastern motifs on the front.

Hello, I am a fairly new player looking for clarification. I started as a summoner because I didn't think I wanted the stress of healing, and have several dps classes unlocked as well as warrior (to a point, I'm early in the game). When Scholar became available to me I tried it out and learned that I stinking love healing. It has made dungeons a ton more interesting to me. I've unlocked all of the healers now and they are all my favorite jobs. That said, I think i could be accused of "healbotting" but I'm not honestly sure. I tend to keep the party on the side of comfortable, and I've only learned recently that I could be blocking my tanks from using some skills by doing that. I still attack a ton, but there are plenty of skills on the scholar & sage that are quick heals/shields that it never made sense to me to hold that back.

So the question - what is the point in HP that is reasonable to heal a tank? I'm afraid of letting them die too much or being accused of not healing, but I also don't want to block any important mits or skills from the tank. I also know there is a particular skill that drk gets that requires I don't heal them until a certain time, but I haven't encountered it yet in a dungeon.

I usually start the dungeon with the standard shields if sage/astro/scholar or regen if white mage, and then continue to keep up with regens throughout. I usually use a strict heal at about the 50% point of HP. If it makes a difference I only have access to lvl 60 or lower dungeons right now (we are in HW and taking our time also unlocking blue quests as we go, so we spend a lot of time in our dungeons along the way).

Any help is appreciated - I know it's a balancing act but I'm struggling with the point that i need to start more active healing.

As a Healer main I just wanna say y'all better hope we like these Evercold Changes. Yes we finally get a 1-2 but guess what it's still on the same button and yes there making job differences between Healer & Casters. That being -

Healers: Damaging spells being insta cast but healing spells being longer cast ( with the exception of probably Astro who's probably gonna be able to speed those up)

Casters: Remaining the same depending on the class ( obviously there will be Evercold changes but as a whole no role changes like Tank and Healer in Evercold)

All I'm saying is you're getting a new Tank and all of our PTO is ready and we're not afraid to use it. That being said this isn't a doom post I have the utmost of faith and I actually like the separation between Healers and Casters. I think insta cast Damage for Healers is cool but longer spell heals is amazing and a neat idea and forces healers to learn slide casting again showing some skill where that might apply. Just please let us separate the one two good God!

Hi everyone! So, FFXIV is my first ever MMORPG. I decided to start ‘cuz I’ve always like the genre but always been afraid to approach it. Always heard good things about about the game, story and the community. I decided to start as a marauder, liked the WRR gameplay, glamour etc. also it seemed like a pretty safe class to start because I always preferred the mage/dps kind of classes in other rpg’s and wanted to try something new.
I though feel pretty overwhelmed, the MSQ, so many stuff to do etc. so I have so questions, or better, i want to hear from you all what you wished you did different or knew when you started the game. From the more simple things like: I wished I picked up this item from this one specific MSQ, or I wish I picked this GC or I whish I did this or that, or whatever all the way to more “technical” stuff or endgame. Literally everything you wish to share with a sprout.
Also I want to know what the best plan you think is to follow here, like: do the MSW until reaching this MSQ level then do this, or whatever.

SOME NOTES: these are only some examples of course. Also, I’m on the free trial for now and I plan to stay like that for a while until I start getting more into the game and decide to commit fully to it.
I’m a lvl 26 marauder and my MSQ lvl is 16 or so I think. I just finished the dungeon in Gridania.

In researching how to level up my chocobo, I’ve learned you need these special onions which the free trial accounts don’t have access to; other than a couple you get from quests later on. However there appears to be a work-around by getting someone to give you ‘garden access’ at their house?

So figured this was a long shot, but is there anyone in the Dynamis data center that could help a Free Trial out? :)

What Is Fashion Report?

It's a weekly event held at the Gold Saucer where you can earn in excess of 60,000 MGP (10,000 for taking part, 50,000 for scoring 80 or more... you can get more using FC or personal MGP buffs) a week just by equipping some glamours. After weekly reset; we get hints as to a set of glamours we need to wear which is then up for scoring on Friday. It's the same for everyone so even if you don't want to join in with the guessing game below; you can wait for the results and present your outfit and get some easy MGP. Current and previous results can also be found on this query thread.

Best guess is worked out by historical results (repeat results) or in the case of new clues, community effort

I will usually have the results post up upon Friday reset
