R E L A X on Chase Brown

Chase Brown rushing stats through 5 games in 2025 vs 2026

2025:
65 carries
160 yards
1 TD
2.5 yards per carry

2026:
71 carries
246 yards
1 TD
3.5 yards per carry

Brown finished ‘25 with 1,000 yards and 4.4 yards per carry.

He isn’t elite or an every down back. But people need to relax. Last season started worse for him. It’ll get better. The production will come.

The spotlight is on him this year for obvious reasons and so the scrutiny is turned up as well. I’m probably not spending high end money on Brown but at the same time we can’t act like he’s a non factor on offense.

He’s had a bad start to the season again, we’ve been here before. Perine isn’t taking the majority of the work all season. Give it time, there’s going to be better games.

Trade offer?

Obviously there is no noise on this and the chance of either of this is approaching 0 percent but would you trade our 2027 first for Johnathan Taylor?

Another idea, trade 2027 2nd and 5th for Jessie Bates back?

Seeing some talk that Joe burrow is a wr merchant and his receivers elite separation are what causes his success

Dohnte is ranked 4th overall Jamar is 50th and Tee is 63rd respectively in the nfl. But I guess the most accurate QB in the nfl only wins on separation throws.

Mike Gesicki already has the 3rd most TDs in a season by a Bengals TE in the last 10 years:

  1. Tyler Kroft - 7 (2017)
  2. Tyler Eifert/C.J. Uzomah - 5 (‘16/‘21)
  3. Mike Gesicki - 4 (2026)

Bengals TE Mike Gesicki has had a fast start to the 2026 that could end up with his name among some of the best at his position in Bengals history

Mike Gesicki is on pace for one his best seasons as a pro in his 9th year.

Gesicki already has four touchdowns through five games. He needs just five more on the year to tie 2nd place all time for TDs in a single season by Bengals tight end—set by Bob Trumpy in 1969 and Rodney Holman in 1989 with 9.

Gesicki already has the third most TDs by a Bengals TE in a season in the last 10 years. Tyler Kroft had 7 in 2017.

[Dehner] What Bengals’ stat patterns tell about Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, pass rush

CINCINNATI — Can Joe Burrow top 5,000 yards passing? Can Mike Gesicki catch 14 touchdowns? Will Jordan Battle snag 10 interceptions?

Five games in, when you stretch the Bengals’ current statistical pace over a 17-game season, some sound funny, some realistic, and others unquestionably unhinged.

They are starting to tell important stories for the 2026 Cincinnati Bengals, though.

Let’s look at the most important early statistical paces so far, break down why they are happening, what they mean, and whether they’ll continue or fall short.

Pass rush: 58 sacks

Current: The Bengals produced 17 sacks, tied for third most.

Context: If Cincinnati reached 58 sacks, it would blow past the franchise record of 51 set in 2012, even with one fewer game (3.4 versus 3.2 per game).

The Eagles hold the century record for most sacks in a season with 70. If Cincinnati reached 58, it would land 10th on that list.

Outlook: This marks the fifth time in franchise history the Bengals have started the season with five straight games with at least two sacks. The current run is only bested by eight straight in 1982 and seven in 2012. The point is, it’s been consistent. It hasn’t come against the dregs of NFL offensive lines. Four of the five Bengals opponents rank in the top half of the league in pass-block win rate. They have six games left against teams ranked in the NFL’s bottom 10 in sack percentage allowed, including two against the Browns, who rank last in the NFL. There’s reason to believe this pace can continue.

Variable: Will the Bengals play from ahead? Seven of their 17 sacks have come while leading in the fourth quarter. That ranks second only behind Minnesota (8). The pass rush thrived when it could lean on line depth and hunt in passing situations. If the Bengals put away wins over the next 12 games, it’s easy to see them not only holding this pace but potentially exceeding it. If the season falls apart, the run at the franchise record likely will too.

Verdict: They’ll hit 58. The Bengals will likely lead many of these games and can pad their sack stats there. Plus, their number of rushers racking up pressures (five on pace for 40-plus) suggests they are built to last.

Madrid game tickets

Hey everyone, I bought two NFL tickets on HelloTickets and received the link to the official NFL site, but it shows the tickets as 'allocated" and not as "transferred" and prompts me to buy them instead. Has anyone experienced this or knows what happened?
