The box is open and has been repaired, I'd be happy to provide more photographs to anyone interested in the condition. All other components are practically NM.

It's a Spanish edition as it was purchased in that country.

I'd be looking for £120 for it with the buyer covering postage costs, I can get quotes varying on the country but as an example, the UK postage would cost about £21.80 via Royal Mail. Any potential import costs upon arrival would be the responsibility of the buyer.

A sale would be far easier within the European area as I'm afraid postage to the US would be egregiously expensive.

Feel free to DM me if you're interested.

Im impressed with how many people are asking for v1.0 cards and tokens. Is 1.0 that valuable this days? Poeple want it to play the first version or is a "completing collection" thing?

When we look around the different marketplaces (ebay, facebook, vinted, etc) its hard to find the "right price" for a ship. They differ very much between platforms and its not so easy to calculate the final value you will get as a seller.

What strategies do you guys use to find a good range of price to sell a ship?

“Our initial motivation to bring flyers to the game . . . ”

(was because we had to kill X-Wing)

Sorry couldn’t help it that was what immediately popped into my head as he said that 😂

Seriously, very excited for this (but my wallet is suddenly crying out in terror as at least a thousand dollars goes flying out the window)

Better believe I’ll be playing a gigantic version of X-Wing at some point ❤️

Most of the selling market I find in internet are happening in the US. Selling from Europe means more expensive shipping and extra burocracy. Is there a comunnity of X-Wing that buys/sells x-wing in here? Suggestions of other places to sell my collection inside europe?
Thanks guys

Had further thoughts on this with a bit of internet inspiration and people’s comments on here so thanks if you replied.

5 players using a 90x90 Death Star mat with 3x turbo laser turrets.

Round 1-3

1p X Wing (Luke Skywalker)

2p X Wing (Jek Porkins)

3p Y Wing (Dutch Vander)

4p & 5p take turns using the Imperial turbo laser turrets

The Y Wing player positioned to make a trench run at the exhaust port.

The X Wings to cut across their axis and draw their fire attacking the turbo laser turrets.

After 3 rounds the Rebel players notice the guns have stopped and are warned to check their sensors for enemy fighters heading their way.

4p 1 x Tie Fighter (Night Beast) - respawned if destroyed with other pilots.

5p 1 x Tie Advanced (Darth Vader)

Rounds 4-8 are the trench run - if the Y Wing is destroyed then any surviving X Wing can start their run.

If the Death Star exhaust port suffers a critical or two hits in one attack then it starts the chain reaction that will destroy the battle station.

If the Imperials can hold off the Rebels to the end of Round 8 then the Death Star is able to successfully destroy the Rebel base on Yavin.

Hope this sounds feasible!

Might do Aces High type game initially then launch into the Attack on the Death Star scenario so everyone gets used to the ships and everything they have to do on their turn.

Might homebrew the rules on the trench and also the turbo laser turrets.

Amy comments/ideas welcome for the 5p bash for newbies. I want to strip the game a bit and simplify but keep the Star Wars - Original Trilogy theme going.

Just found my starter, want to give it a try with my wife but found out its not being supported anymore. Cant get New ships?

I’ve got a V2 starter, a Rebel Alliance starter, a Galactic Empire starter, the Battle of Yavin, a Death Star mat (90x90), a starfield mat (90x90) and three Death Star Turrets (one pictured).

I’ve played V1, none of us have ever played v2 or v2.5 so I need a teaching game and then perhaps a thematic mission using the components I have collected previously but not played.

Any cool suggestions as how to set this up best for five players? Everyone is an adult (in fact an old fart!) but all non board game types so I don’t want loads of complexity really.

Cheers in advance for any ideas!

Anyone sell them?

Can someone help me understand this rule? I believe it is for the 2.5 version of the rules. The scenarios say that you start off with points equal to your opponent’s deficit. This doesn’t make sense to me. If your opponent has less than the agreed upon point value, shouldn’t your opponent be the one to get back those extra points in his score?

Hi all,

It’s come to my attention that X-wing rules we are using, updated as of 2023 and located here are actually the rules for the 2.5 version.

My son and I are playing the 2.0 version and some rules we discovered are different, like whether or not you can fire at range zero. Is there an official 2.0 rule book somewhere?

So, long ago in the pre-AMG, early 2.0 years this conversion was nichely popular. After unburying my old X-Wing minis I found my WIP version, from before I'd gotten into 40k.

Well, nowadays I had more tools and more bits, so I finally pinned the wings and went about mounting an assault cannon off an OG 40k Land Speeder.

I've slept on it, and I think I hate it, but I'm not sure if I'm ridiculously over-thinking this or if it's worth ripping off the big chaingun, carving off the rest of the G-1A's chin, and finding a different, more modest turret to use.

So, like any online denizen, I ask the internet for its myriad opinions and hope to spark a worthwhile discussion to either validate or quiet down my own sentiments before I go about repainting this to match the rest of my Scum fleet.

Updated in comments.

I have been working on a simpler version of the Battle of Yavin scenario. Feel free to take a look and let me know what you think! On XWA Discord

Hi! So, in addition to the info in the title:

I did start buying a bunch of 2.0 expansion(?) gameplay kits (Never Tell Me the Odds, Hot Shots and Aces I and II, Fully Loaded, and a few more), as well as a Conversion Kit, when the game was being officially discontinued, thinking that it was about time to start actually playing - thinking I'd either play 2.0, 2.5, or XWA rules.

This last week, after realising that (A) I didn't have a Rebel Alliance Conversion Kit (I thought I'd bought one), and (B) They're now reeaally expensive, I thought I might dial everything back a bit, and revert to 1.0. A few advantages popped into my head [1.] I could save that Conversion Kit money, [2.] I could sell some of these 2.0 gameplay expansion sets, [3.] I could have a potentially more simplified gameplay experience (1.0 out of the box sounds like a much more streamlined affair than 2.5 with all of its modes and options that the expansions would introduce?) and I'll only be playing casually, with usually one friend in particular; [4.] The idea of having an all-physical, out-of-the-box gameplay experience that doesn't rely on online stuff sounds really appealing.

So, with all of that said, do I have the right idea? If I have the 1.0 core set, about 14 Rebel ships, about 18 Imperial ships, and all of the gubbins for them still; would I have a full gameplay experience with just that stuff? I assume none of those 2.0 extra (non-ship) packs have any relevance to 1.0?

Thanks in advance!

Looking to acquire a complete or near-complete Star Wars x-wing separatist lot

Hi, all. My friend and I have a friendly game of 2.0 Legacy about once a month, and I'm 0-7 in our last 7 matchups. Even losing, I still have a blast with the game, so I'm not frustrated, but I would definitely like to improve. I'm just not sure where to start.

I'm looking for general tips and advice and things that new or casual players often overlook or underestimate. Anything from list building, to flying formations, to dice math and decision making while making your actions.

My friend and I usually rotate between Rebels and Imps. I'd love some recommendations for simple lists (200pts) that would suit a beginner well. Also looking for tips on how to fly in formation, and any other bits of advice that I'm probably not even considering.

To give some additional info, when my friend flies Imps, he usually does a TIE swarm with a single Decimator. When he flies Rebels, he usually does the Falcon or Outrider plus two or three smaller ships. He's very good at positioning and always seems to be able to outmaneuver me. I can usually take out all or most of his smaller ships, but barely make a dent on the big one before I lose. I tend to fly two or three bulkier ships, but I think it's a mistake and I should spread out more.

I am greatly appreciative of any advice and am happy to give additional info if needed.

Is 46 points the minimum your squadron must be? I keep maxing out at 45 points. Thanks in advance
