Veterinary Radiology - Ultrasound Needed

VRA is booking 5 weeks out and my cat cannot wait that long. Any recommendations of places that do a complete abdominal ultrasound? I’ve been told some ERs don’t always have someone around for the ultrasound so it’s not even guaranteed to happen if I bring her in.

Edit: thanks everyone for the suggestions. Ended up going with VSS West in O’fallon. They were able to fit me in last minute.

Our home AC keeps freezing up!

Are there any good companies that won’t try to sell us on a $20k system and can be honest with us?

Would love to stick with a local small business

Pic for attention, that’s actually our outdoor compressor lol

Ask STL NEW CHURCH HOME💒

Hi everyone! I’m on the lookout for a church to join and would love to hear about some good ones in the area. I used to go to a family church, but it’s been about 15 years since I’ve been there, and I didn’t really like it. It felt more like a cult than a place of worship. I’m more on the Christian side of things, and I’m 25 years old. I’m really looking for a sense of belonging, a welcoming place, and a way to get closer to God. If you know of any churches, I’d be happy to check them out until I find the perfect church home. I’m a bit nervous about this journey, but I feel like God is calling me, and I want to answer his call soon.

Ask STL Need someone to clip my dogs nails

I live on the hill and am in need of someone that knows what they're doing to cut my dogs nails. He's a chubby old man with a bum acl. I would rather pay extra for someone to come to the house than pick him up multiple times to travel.

Ask STL Triathletes - Where are you training?

I have been talked into start participating in triathlons, with the goal of an Ironman in 2028. These will be my first tri events, so trying to find out where other athletes are training.

Bike and Run are fairly obvious to me - Forest Park, Katy Trail, etc will all have long enough stretches for long rides and runs.

However, the swimming is where I am getting stuck. LifeTime seems like an obvious choice, but $250+/month is crazy. Thought about doing the Y, but I have heard mixed reviews. Would also need open waters at some point.

For my fellow triathletes, or just my fellow fitness junkies, where are you training?

Best part of town to stay in near the Science Center

Hi! I’m flying into St. Louis for an event at the Science Center next weekend. I’d like to do a bit of site seeing and dining out. Any recommendations for a good part of town to stay in, close to the Science Center (a short car ride is fine). Names of specific neighborhoods/parts of town would be so helpful. Thanks-looking forward to visiting your city!

Moving to St. Louis For Rent

I'm coming back to North County to be near family. But I can't find roommates or apartments out in North County. Everything i find online is mostly down in the city. Where can I find options in Florissant, Overland, Bridgeton areas?

Thanks in advance. FYI I am older, semi retired stoner looking for a quiet spot.

Moving to St. Louis Looking for studio/1 bedroom recommendations

I know apartments tend to hide their bad reviews. I've seen lots mention roaches, mice, and bedbugs.

I need recommendations for good apartment complexes. I can't spend over $900 with utilties.

I am looking between downtown and tower west end. Anywhere within 45 min train/bus ride of downtown slc.

I am trying to get back on my feet and I just want to avoid getting a really bad apartment.

Plus size formal dress

I am wondering where I should look for plus size formal dress options. Not sure if many bridal boutiques carry plus sizes or have many options? I live outside of town so I'd love to get some recommendations on where to shop when I visit. Thank you!
