Boiler in our south city place is from the 80s and the tech who looked at it last winter basically patted it and said good luck. Got a quote for replacing it and the number made me put the folder down for a week.

Every review I find says the same two things in one breath: expensive, and the work holds up. I understand paying for the second part. What I can't tell is how that plays on a 100 year old house where every job opens a wall and finds a surprise. Cheap on an old house gets expensive in a different way, I've done that math once already.

About a week ago, we began seeing a recurring face on our cameras. A grey tabby with a collar with a turquoise bell on it. She's been essentially at our house every morning and evening. We've tried to get close to her, but she's not having it. Appears that she recently gave birth. No sign of the babies. I hate to see a cat that clearly is someone's companion out in an area that can have high traffic, etc.

I've gotten several pics. Mostly grainy because of doorbell camera. However, got one through the screen door on the patio just this morning. Please help find her family!

We have 3 cats in the house here, so it's possible that she knows it's safe to be near our house. But, she still isn't trusting enough to allow me or my husband get close.

I've been searching google and I haven't seen anything familiar, so it might have been closed down since the last time I saw it.

I don't remember the exact location, but it was somewhere between Saint Peters and Lake Saint Louis and it was a part of a gas station—inside the same building, if I recall.

For some reason, I keep wanting to call it "The Coffee Bean" but I don't see any stores with a name like that, even having been closed down on google.

It was not a major chain like a Starbucks or Dunkin', but they did have their own website and ordering system. I remember that much. Unfortunately, I also don't have it bookmarked or otherwise saved in my history.

To try to be a bit more specific as to its location, I feel like it was either on the edge of one of the towns. You could see it off to the right and down a bit—which I know is not super helpful, but it's the best way I can think to describe it with how vague my memory of it is.

Cat Clayton is running against Colin Wellenkamp in District 105 (which is the next district from where I am). His attack ads appear to involve blatant lies to try and trick people into voting for him.

Don't be fooled; he is not anti-data center or anti-AI at all.
