Glad to see the truth of Amendment 3 being spread.

I'm seeing a lot of ads online that just tell the truth about Amendment 3. Just "it's an abortion ban, we already said no to this".

And that's good

NOAA just released the El Niño winter outlook… here’s what it probably means for St. Louis

For the St. Louis region, NOAA’s winter outlook for December 2026 through February 2027 points to a warmer-than-normal winter, with no clear signal for wetter or drier conditions. The very strong El Niño that has developed in the Pacific could shift the jet stream and influence storm tracks, but it doesn’t tell us whether St. Louis will get significant snowstorms or a white Christmas.

So, overall, expect better odds of milder temperatures on average, but don’t rule out occasional Arctic cold snaps, ice, or snowstorms depending on how the storm tracks line up with the temperatures.

Here’s the full outlook from NOAA: https://www.noaa.gov/news-release/el-nino-looms-large-over-us-winter-outlook

Lambert lack of dining

This place is crawling with people tonight. In terminal 2 every bar is full with people looking for places to sit. Each location staffed with only one person. The smaller Popup bars deeper into E 20-40 are already closed. What gives?

Schnucks self-checkout venting sesh

Does anybody else absolutely despise the Schnucks self-checkout machines?

They’re so loud, ask a million questions, and overall they feel archaic. I would shop at Schnucks way more often if these changed.

News St. Louis median sale price per sq ft - 63110 up 10%, 63118 down 15% over the past year

I noticed median sale price per sq ft in 63110 was up about 10% over the past year, while 63118 was down about 15%.

Open https://homemarketview.com/zip/63110 or https://homemarketview.com/zip/63118, select All homes and 1Y, and read the median sale price per sq ft chart.

I built this map to explore available sale-price, listings and rent history. I'd love feedback from St. Louis folks. Do these patterns match what you're seeing?

Sharing this incase anyone else finds it interesting as well. Let me know if you have any ideas to improve the site!

Politics Ann Wagner ads on streaming apps

Is anybody else getting flooded with Ann Wagner ads on streaming services? I blocked them on youtube but I get them CONSTANTLY on Peacock, HBO Max, and the ESPN apps. Idk if its because of the part of town I stay in (Ballwin/Wildwood) but it's literally every ad break or every other ad break, and the Prop 3 ad. Asking because if its just me I'm gonna try to change my zip or info if possible.

Session Send Off

I know a lot of folks have strong opinions about Session (Mission) Taco, but I have to say that last night was great to see. We wanted one last hurrah with our favorite plates from there and went to the Soulard location last night.

Yes - they’re closing. Yes - the staff knows it. And yes - they were a bit short staffed and the food took a little longer. But the place was packed and it felt like a real feel good send off for this place. I’m in the camp of folks who will miss it - mostly for memories. I spent a lot of time in this location between marriages and was always welcomed and never treated unkindly. I wonder what will happen to the artwork - Pete’s large paintings really gave the place some character, and Craig’s mural was something I had to get a photo of before it disappears.
