I could see that on the cover of vogue, couldn’t you?

Hi everyone!

I absolutely loved this weeks episode ( despite wanting to give Mocha the BIGGEST hug). but my favourite part by far was Coral holding her pose on the runway! I don’t know why this made me laugh so much but I just love her and this moment.

What did everyone think of this episode? Does anyone wish someone had stood up for Mocha against KY?

Also loving Alik and Flesh here too.. certainly these 3 are my favourite of the cast.

Coral has a refreshing charisma that you can tell Ru appreciates. If she doesn’t win this season, she’ll be back.

The title makes it sound a lot more dramatic than it really is, but whatever- this is just something I’ve noticed over the course of this season that is really grating on me.

She’s been doing very well, consistently, for the last few episodes. And yet, every time she is critiqued she receives the same patronising comments:

- You actually did well!
- You surprised me tonight.
- You picked the right time to arrive to this competition.
- And the most egregious- I just hope you can keep this going and don’t fuck up next week!!

I’m paraphrasing, but you get the gist. Constantly treating her doing well as some sort of fluke or stroke of good luck. I don’t like how, when she did so well and was rightfully proud of herself, they had to mention the prospect of her somehow fucking it up in the next challenge. Like her talent is some sort of fleeting thing that she has to fight to keep a hold on.

She’s not the first queen to be spoken to/about this way, but it really annoys me!! Am I delusional of have other people noticed this too?

Tonight on Drag Race UK Series 8, the remaining 6 queens tackle the comedy acting challenge!!

Acting challenges usually expose who can handle comedic timing and script characterization versus who gets lost in the background.

A few questions heading into tonight:

• Which queen do you expect to stand out with the best character choices and comedic delivery?
• Who is most at risk of fumbling their lines or getting overshadowed in the ensemble?
• Who are your picks for tonight's challenge win and the bottom two?

Also, if you want to track your weekly predictions and compete in private leagues with friends, we have them set up on Sashay Bingo as always.

They are so underrated. A potentially amazing career ruined by crappy management. God bless RPDR UK for recognising them 💖
