Very disappointed with both FedEx and PokemonCenter. I am especially disheartened by the response from PKC. Zero escalation or investigation on their part. I contacted FedEx and they told me to reach out to the shipper. After contacting PokemonCenter they said it was delivered and has a delivery photo so it is not their problem. I had provided evidence of tampering and an empty box. But I have now been told any future ticket relating to this issue will automatically be closed.

I got a little desperate so don’t judge me. I basically traded 4 packs for 18 packs so that’s a win to me. I only paid MSRP for the Evolving Skies anyways.

I opened these up with my cousin and man we were not disappointed, the pulls are insane and as a Pikachu collector I love how every pack has a Pikachu in it.

I haven’t had this much fun pulling packs since Sword and Shield (I stopped collecting after S&S). I ruined the hobby for myself by always looking up the value for the cards in advance, and hoping for the expensive card rather than the card I liked. This time around I’m not checking prices for the cards until I collect at least 80% of the cards.

25th anniversary was the only set I’ve ever mastered and now I actually want to master this set as well. It was so worth the 5-year wait.

I don’t know every card in the set yet so I’m surprised as I go. I’ll eventually look at the book when I open an ETB. I don’t even know what my Chase card is but I think I may have pulled it with this.

This trade was so worth it in my book, idc what anyone says.

I was finally able to get my hands on a booster box and pulled some great cards! I don’t really care about the monetary value of my collection, I just like collecting my favorite little guys. The 30th anniversary was filled with gorgeous bulk cards and it felt so special❤️

Today is my nineteenth birthday, and I was gifted 100 Pokémon cards and a binder from my partner. I used to collect them when I was little, but once I got older I lost them and I lost the time to get more. I know they aren’t impressive, I don’t have any “chase” cards, but I don’t care about that. I like them anyway, and I’m very happy to have some again. I’m hoping I get a piplup soon, because that’s my favorite. :)

And yes, that is my chihuahua, she also likes Pokémon cards.

Won the raffle from Walmart and took the gamble on opening. Now I see why it’s called traumatic evolutions 🥲

My daughter has been opening prismatic and it’s been so disappointing. She’s ten so it’s fun to see her reaction to hits. I found a good deal on ascended heroes focused fighters so picked it up. First pack opened was a god pack. She was so happy! I got a good video and good memories. Not posting the video but here are the hits. She’s debating on selling it or holding on. We don’t need the cash so I’ll recommend we keep it.

So upset right now and I just need to vent. I went to a card show here local to me that they have every Wednesday night -

At the end of the show I visited one last vendor before leaving, but when I left I realized I had left my personal binder at the booth. I went back, picked up my binder from the vendor, but after checking the pages (it wasnt very full) I realized that one of the most expensive cards in the whole binder was missing.

I confronted the vendor about either taking the card or accidentally selling it, but he didn't own up to anything. So either the vendor took this card, or someone else stole from my binder during the show. There was one other guy that asked to see my collection while I was waiting to buy a card. It could have been him as well.

$350 card, gone, just like that. This hobby brings out the absolute worst scum of the earth, and I am sick of it. Im tired of people stealing from me, and trying to scam me.

Unfortunately no, there were no cameras in this room, I checked with security already.

Edit: wow you people are wild. Yes it is my fault for leaving my binder. No I did not do it on purpose, stop acting like I did. No, it is not my fault for being stolen from, regardless of the circumstances. Yes, people steal sht all the time, doesn't make it ok. Yes, people stole from this binder before, but no I did not know it was worth anything at the time so I had no reason to be careful. Also shitty for a friend to steal from you, still not my fault.

I went through my old binder with my 6 year old nephew, and he really wanted an Espeon card in there. I told him he could have it, if he painted me an Espeon. I helped him a little and of course I traded him the card for it. Next time we saw each other he gifted me these other cards. I think they are worth a lot.

Found this bad boy hanging out at an antique store. Best $40 grab so far!

Not the rarest card in the set but when I pulled this I got a rush of memories from my childhood, so incredibly happy right now. (Sharing because no one I know is into this hobby..)

Got this in the mail yesterday, I bought it since the price dropped and I liked the art but it's the first time in a while when I keep picking it up to admire the art. It's such a nice card. I definitely have to pick up Ralts and Kirlia now.

Whenever I'm having a bad day I just pull out the collection and smile.

LCS had ETBs for 135 so I was able to grab my first ETB. I am so pumped by these pulls!
