Off to a great start and can't wait to open more when the time comes

Very disappointed with both FedEx and PokemonCenter. I am especially disheartened by the response from PKC. Zero escalation or investigation on their part. I contacted FedEx and they told me to reach out to the shipper. After contacting PokemonCenter they said it was delivered and has a delivery photo so it is not their problem. I had provided evidence of tampering and an empty box. But I have now been told any future ticket relating to this issue will automatically be closed.

Won the raffle from Walmart and took the gamble on opening. Now I see why it’s called traumatic evolutions 🥲

Note - I started collecting last month. I knew opening wouldn’t be the best option but wanted to experience myself

My daughter has been opening prismatic and it’s been so disappointing. She’s ten so it’s fun to see her reaction to hits. I found a good deal on ascended heroes focused fighters so picked it up. First pack opened was a god pack. She was so happy! I got a good video and good memories. Not posting the video but here are the hits. She’s debating on selling it or holding on. We don’t need the cash so I’ll recommend we keep it.

Thought this one was nice with the Autumn vibes 🍂

Today is my nineteenth birthday, and I was gifted 100 Pokémon cards and a binder from my partner. I used to collect them when I was little, but once I got older I lost them and I lost the time to get more. I know they aren’t impressive, I don’t have any “chase” cards, but I don’t care about that. I like them anyway, and I’m very happy to have some again. I’m hoping I get a piplup soon, because that’s my favorite. :)

And yes, that is my chihuahua, she also likes Pokémon cards.

Had to return shoes. $20 a box!

Finally got my hands on an ETB and I get my chases, lugia and froggy boy 🐸. S/o Walmart and it's raffle system 🙂‍↕️🙏 my pkc etbs cam remain sealed 😅

I was finally able to get my hands on a booster box and pulled some great cards! I don’t really care about the monetary value of my collection, I just like collecting my favorite little guys. The 30th anniversary was filled with gorgeous bulk cards and it felt so special❤️

Hey guys, I'm trying to find cool artworks like this one to make custom cards (giving credit to original artist, of course and only for personal use). Pinterest ain't helping me much, so if you guys have any nice artwork you feel like would look great in a pokemon card, please send it here, pokemon or treiners!

Just got my 9x3 starter set from Pokémon center Japan through the lottery. A bit surprised by the boxes and tape used to seal them.

Still opening them anyway but thought they'd be more sealed.

These are so cool. Really more attached to Gens 1-4 myself but a cool collectable, especially while living in Japan short term.

The 30th anniversary set was released one month ago and getting this box was way too stressful and pricey for an hobby related activity but after I saw the pulls I can say it was worth it, the only downside is I wanted at least one of the gengar cards but I still have another box I could open, anyway the mew sar and also the magikarp reprint are way too pretty 💜

LCS had ETBs for 135 so I was able to grab my first ETB. I am so pumped by these pulls!

my coworker told me about how he had a couple boxes of old bulk for me to look through... and omg 🤯 this is so cool. there's two banned japanese cards (the moo moo milk and the grimer), and then some first edition holos (some with swirls in them).

Really wish they brought back gold border secret rares like these! Full gold mega evolution is still cool though

They did it for Heart Gold / Soul Silver 16 years ago then just went blank again

I'm so happy! I found this at a local store in my neighborhood!

I got a little desperate so don’t judge me. I basically traded 4 packs for 18 packs so that’s a win to me. I only paid MSRP for the Evolving Skies anyways.

I opened these up with my cousin and man we were not disappointed, the pulls are insane and as a Pikachu collector I love how every pack has a Pikachu in it.

I haven’t had this much fun pulling packs since Sword and Shield (I stopped collecting after S&S). I ruined the hobby for myself by always looking up the value for the cards in advance, and hoping for the expensive card rather than the card I liked. This time around I’m not checking prices for the cards until I collect at least 80% of the cards.

25th anniversary was the only set I’ve ever mastered and now I actually want to master this set as well. It was so worth the 5-year wait.

I don’t know every card in the set yet so I’m surprised as I go. I’ll eventually look at the book when I open an ETB. I don’t even know what my Chase card is but I think I may have pulled it with this.

This trade was so worth it in my book, idc what anyone says.
