So I bought a Pimax Crystal Super. Wen with the 57 ppd, because I value clarity and this is mostly gonna be used to play vr mods of games like Cyberpunk, and I value the clarity over FOV. I absolutely love the clarity on this thing but a couple small issues. 1, the Dmas speakers apart of the upgrade promotion I purchased with, it was $80 off and Dmas speakers or dmas speakers and prescription inserts. I went with the $80 off and dmas speakers. The speakers were not included in the box and haven't seen anyrhing about a separate shipment.

Second, my Microphone doesn't work. For speakers it picked up 2 thing Pimax Crystal super, and Pimax Airlink. For microphone it only picks up airlink and that does nothing. So essentially my computer is not recognizing the mic.

3rd. I did see when purchasing, a 3.5mm jack was listed on the website. I cannot find the jack port at all to connect my own headphones. Am I blind or does this port not exist?

As title states. I have a super MOLED I was going to buy the additional warranty from, but saw it’s “sold out”?

Hello! I bought a dream air using SLAM tracking yesterday, and I noticed that the controllers lose tracking far faster than I expected. I mean I lose tracking of the controllers if I have them a bit below my chest while facing my head straight forward(and when putting the controllers to my sides while standing), and was wondering if this is normal, or if there’s anything I can do to improve it. I am coming from an index, but got this headset hoping to move away from lighthouse tracking, without giving meta more money, but the inside out tracking angles feel worse than even my old rift S.

If I can do something to improve this, I would be overjoyed, as it’s the last seemingly unfixable issue I can’t deal with(the other ones being the screen swimming and the low as heck tracking rate of the controllers, which were both fixed by sboys3), but if not, I can’t really justify the $2500 + comfort mods(how could they give such a bad head strap for this thing??), even if going back to the index’s resolution is now physically painful after seeing this beauty(minus the smearing from the air)

The stock speakers suck. Price is not an issue. I just want the best set of headphones or speakers that have Spatial Audio. I want good sound and bass.

So after the firmware update 1.0.6 the eye tracking of my dream air stopped completely, the ir leds don't light up anymore.

i contacted support from the app and they gave me some instructions to follow and it didn't work, then i was told : (If the eye-tracking IR LEDs still do not light up after completing the troubleshooting steps above, we suspect there may be a hardware issue with the IR LED connection or power supply circuit.

I will transfer this ticket to our after-sales team so they can arrange a replacement for you.)

that was 2 days ago so do i have to do something or just wait?, how do i know if the ticket was transferred?

I've been considering it for a while, as the Steam Frame seems to have some issues and I'd rather have a dedicated PCVR headset. It looks like it's got better displays, about the same FOV, but I've heard some bad things about comfort which is an important part for me so I need to make sure it'll be fine first. I've been using a Quest 2 until now so anything would probably be better than that. I would consider the Dream Air but that's out of my budget. Would this actually be a good headset for me, or would a different headset (that's under £1000) work better?

Edit: for reference, I'm using a 7800X3D and an RTX 4080 Super. I'm not sure of my IPD but there's no reason it won't fit considering it's got a wider range than my Quest 2 and that works fine

Hey guys i need to buy a 3d printer to make the adapter and I know nothing about 3d printers. Is there a certain one I should get or can they all print this thing fine? I just need to make the adapter for Apple dual knit band connection. But not sure if it needs to be a certain level of precision or a certain material that some 3d printers can’t handle or something. If someone who has done this can provide input it would really help me.

Hello, does anyone know what's happening with the shipments of the new face masks for the Dream Air? I submitted a support ticket in September and was told they would send the new face interface for the Dream Air, but I haven't received any updates to this day. For such an expensive product, the lack of service and communication is unacceptable. Please let me know when my replacement will be shipped.

I received a couple of days ago a Pimax Super OLED. However I didn't managed to make it work. The headset is recognized but get disconnected, either after a few seconds or after I move it.

I opened a ticket to support, the first answer they gave me was to disconnect extra monitor, but I don't think this is the issue. I also tried with a single 25660x1440 60HZ connected, and it still wasn't working properly.

I also tried on my laptop and had the same behaviour, although I'm not sure my laptop is powerful enough for the super (3070 TI).

I'm suspecting the cable, but I have no way to test it unless I have access to another cable. If anyone in Toulouse see this message and is able to lend me a working cable so that I can test ? ^^

I already tried to unplug and plug again the cable on the headset connection, but no improvement.

If anyone has any idea of something I could try ?

Hello, I received my Dream Air Slam today. I haven’t had time to test much else yet, but I’ve installed Pimax Evo and updated the firmware.

The right speaker isn’t working; I’ve tried restarting and disconnecting/reconnecting the side arm, but there’s still no sound.

Does anyone have a solution, or could it be a hardware issue?
