If you farted all the way at the bottom of Mariana’s trench, how long would it take the bubble to reach the surface? Would the gas still be warm by the time it made it? Would it still stink?

Blow jobs and all that NSFW

1.4k Upvotes

I (25f) slept with a guy a while ago, and I think it was a nice experience. But after going home and sitting with my thoughts, all the questions and insecurities started flooding... i felt i did everything wrong or weird... like why did it take so long for him to come? did he even come? Did i make stupid noises? Did he have sex with me because he felt bad for me? BLAH BLAH, ALL THAT........

Anyways, my question is for the boys, mostly...

So i went down on him and i think i know how do do it and i think he enjoyed it. But i was also sucking on his balls because i think guys like that, but i actually don't know... so afterwards i felt really stupid, imagine i was laying there, sucking his balls and he hated it....

Do guys like that?? Or is it weird??

Thats all

How do donut shops stay in business?

1.1k Upvotes

Whenever I go and buy donuts from a local shop (which isn’t often), I’m always amazed that not only are they still in business, but that everything is so cheap. And it seems like there’s a donut shop every other street too! I understand it’s volume-based but when donuts are like 2 or 3 bucks, how is it even possible to keep their bills paid??

what are the kids using cold sore patches for that would warrant an ID?

something that happened just an hour ago. i was getting some cold sore patches and motor oil (latter because my dad forgot his wallet) at Walgreens, and the clerk up front asked for an ID or birth day. the dude was pretty chill, but did mention that the kids up here were using the cold sore stuff for something other than cold sores. i never really got a specific answer, and never pressed any further because i was in a rush.

granted, it could've been the motor oil that he was talking about, but still. google is of no help here, so....what the hell are kids getting up to?

If you found out that your partner was doing nsfw role play with someone else, would you consider that cheating? NSFW

To preface this, I’m aromantic so my view of romance is very different than someone who isn’t. I’ve done character role play since I was a teenager so I’m very experienced with it. The very few partners that I’ve been with were also role players themselves, so them doing non-nsfw rp and nsfw rp with others has never been a problem for me.

I ask this question because I’ve seen a spike in couples joining group role play servers and only rping romance and nsfw plots with their partner. That itself isn’t a problem, but I have seen people get jealous if their partner’s character deviates from theirs and have even witnessed a few breakups due to that. I’ve also had role play partners suddenly drop out of plots because their partners found out that they were doing nsfw role play with me.

I personally don’t see why it needs to affect your irl relationships because we are just creating a story using fictional characters. However, I do acknowledge that being aromantic, coupled with the fact that I’ve been roleplaying for so long, has undoubtedly influenced my perception of the matter, which is why I’m asking.

Why do I immediately need to poop when I walk into a bookstore?

Every single time. I walk into a Barnes & Noble perfectly fine, and within 10 minutes I’m speed-walking to the bathroom.

It doesn’t happen at the grocery store. It doesn’t happen at Target. Only around books. I’ve tested this. I went in last week specifically to see if it would happen, and it did. I didn’t even buy anything.

Is it the smell of the paper? Is it because I’m relaxed? Does my colon just really respect literature?

Is it racist to describe someone using their ethnicity?

I’m white. Is is racist if I’m describing someone to someone and I say they are black, or Asian, or Mexican etc. Especially in a corporate setting.

Another example is pointing someone out in a crowded room. I always feel weird saying “that black guy over there” but saying “that guy in the red shirt and black hat” feels like I’m avoiding a key characteristic that would make finding the person much easier.

I’m probably over thinking it but I always want to be sensitive and professional depending on the circumstances.

Will someone tell me when my mom dies?

I dont know where my mom is. Nobody has heard from her in years. Shes unstable and frankly my life has been a lot easier without her.

She will eventually die, one way or the other. What Im wondering is, will someone like the police inform me when it happens? Assuming shes identifiable.

I do a google search every once in a while and theres no online presence or announcement of her death.

Is it common for people to take a shower first thing after sex? NSFW

I’m one of those people that basically just want to go and take a shower first thing after having sex. Part of the reason why is because I’ve always been pretty adamant about hygiene, after I finish inside my gf I do have an urge to just relax and cuddle with her but my instinct tells me “dude go and clean yourself you just had sex” and so thats the first thing I do. My gf thinks it’s weird but I just can’t feel satisfied until I have my shower.

Is this a common reaction?

Where did all the doctors go?

Been scrolling through a list of providers covered by my insurance since mine is retiring, it's all NP's and PA's now. Someone made a post in one of my local subs earlier looking for a psychiatrist and they mentioned having a preference for MD/DO. Plenty of comments agreeing that there's not many in the area anymore.

Growing up I always heard being a doctor is like the #1 way to success. I figured there'd be more of them, doesn't seem like an oversaturated market.

Where'd they all go? Covid burnout get them maybe?

USPS: stamped envelope inside a clear ziploc bag - will it make it through the mail?

My partner took a letter to the post office for me this morning. I had put it in a ziploc, to protect it while in their backpack. They dropped the whole damned ziploc in the mail slot. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Will a forever (if that makes a difference) stamped and addressed envelope inside a clear ziploc bag make it through the USPS mail? Partner is going back on their lunch break to try and get it back, but I do not have high hopes. Should I just resend what I was sending, and hope the original somehow eventually makes it back to me?

I found answers for a stamped bag, and for bags inside envelopes, but nothing for a stamped envelope inside a bag.

TYIA 💜

UPDATE: as soon as I was like AAAA WTF DID YOU DO, my partner popped out of work and ran up the street to the post office, and miraculously USPS had set it aside and found it quickly. Ziploc was removed and letter mailed, crisis averted. (this contained a money order 🥴)

However, for SCIENCE, I am going to mail myself a random card in a Ziploc and see if it gets to me, and if it's delayed or arrives on time. I can't be the only person this has happened to, so I'm gonna get the answer. I'm also going to mail a friend in another city, in case local vs non local makes a difference 😂 will report back with results 💌 📬

In America people talk about "your typical 9-5 job" but in my country (Poland) and surrounding countries (Czechia, Slovakia etc.) most of your typical office jobs are from 8-4 or earlier. Why do you think its like this?

I mean even the countries that are suffering even though it is not their fault are not doing anything about it to try to stop it other than praying that it will go away on its own?

You have a dog, the dog is able to open the door. The police knock on the door and ask to come in and the dog let's them in. Is it legal for them to come in?

Dogs are pretty smart. Some could open doors. I'm not saying turnable doorknobs but the ones where you just press down and pull. If a dog were to do that. Would it be legal for the police to come in and search your home?

Why do some electrical cars sound like they’re floating/making magical sounds?

Just now I parked my own car and an electrical car drove by making these wooshy sounds as if it was hovering. I’ve heard it before, what is that?
Can they turn it off? It sounds like an unnecessary function.

I got terminated from my job and they say I can't ask why until a month passes. Is this normal?

I've been working at a small, local store for only a few weeks now, and when i walked in for my last shift, my manager sat me down privately and said i was terminated effective immediately. After being given a few seconds to process it, I was told that I could inquire WHY i was being fired after a month had passed. Then I was ushered out of the store fairly quickly.

I've worked a few other jobs before and something like this has never happened to me before. At least when I got let go in the past, i was given a reason why and closure in the moment. I also have things of my own that are still in the store that I need to pick up at some point, but there is currently no date set for that.

When I got home, I checked my new employee training packet and it did disclose that the company can terminate without warning at any time, but isn't there some kind of rule about providing a reason as to why an employee was terminated? Maybe I'm missing something. As far as I know, i was an alright employee who was kind to customers and my coworkers and made a lot of sales. Genuinely been wracking my brain trying to think about what I could have done wrong, and it doesn't seem like I will have another answer until a month has passed.

Any insight?

EDIT: I am less looking for answers as to "do they have to tell me why i've been fired" and more on "is them asking me to wait a month before i can ask why i've been let go normal?" thanks to those who have mostly answered that question by conceding it doesn't seem normal.

for those who are curious, I am in texas, i'm not planning on filing for unemployment right now and just on the search for a new job. its a shame im back in the frustrating grind of the job search and am upset that i got let go so suddenly from a job that i really really initially liked, but it is what it is i suppose.

Does anyone else stay up way later than they should just because nighttime feels like the only time you truly get to yourself?

• Upvotes

Even when you’re exhausted, going to bed feels like ending your free time too early. I swear I end up sacrificing sleep just to feel like I had a little time for myself. Is this a real thing or am I just weird? I have to wake up tired just to feel like I got enough time to relax the night before. Make it make sense 😭 Does anyone else do this?

Is 8 months too soon to move in with someone you’re dating?

My Girlfriend and I have been dating for 8 months and everything is going great. We’ve recently been discussing moving in together. She’s not happy with the current place she’s at and wants to move in with me at my place. I’m worried it might be too soon because I’ve never lived with someone I’m dating. This is my first place where I don’t have a roommate. I’m really enjoying having my own space ATM so the decision is weighing on me heavy.

Did anyone else have 'library classes' growing up? Was it just our school? Is it an Aussie thing?

In primary school, we would sometimes have classes where we would go to the school library and just... do school work. Usually reading a book and doing activities based on that book, or just a period where we were allowed to read whatever we wanted. I think we were also allowed to borrow books during these classes? During high school, we would sometimes have regular classes (biology, math, etc.) except in the library for some reason.

What media with numbered sequels have retroactively officially added a "1" to the original works?

I never really considered it but how many other pieces of media have officially retroactively added a "1" to their original work?

Like when we talk about things like Toy Story we often add the "1" ourselves but are there examples where the owners actually did it?

The only example I can think of is the original Final Fantasy being named "Final Fantasy I" in "Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls", which they later did not keep for the PSP or Pixel Remaster releases.

What happens to the people who can’t find any job at all despite trying their best?

I’ve honestly wondered what happens to the people that lose their job and can’t find another job in their field or some other job outside of their field until they can find a job in their field again. I don’t know how it is everywhere in the world, but where I live in Sweden finding any job is extremely difficult nowadays.

This isn’t the 1980s where you can fall back on working in a supermarket or a fast food restaurant. Those jobs are extremely difficult to get and very competitive, so you need to have the right connections to get those jobs, which not everyone has.

There are no guarantees that studying and getting a degree will lead to anything. I know so many people who did their bachelors and masters for 5 years who were not able to get jobs in their field, and are now stuck with a bunch of student loan debt.

If you can’t get a job in your field, or any job at all to be able to pay your bills and survive, are you just supposed to live in poverty or die? Or start a business and try to become profitable despite having no up front investment?
