Help How to get mouse back from ex?
Hello everyone,
I broke up with my girlfriend about a month ago and I just realized that she never returned my Vaxee NP01S v2 that I loaned to her so we could play StarCraft together (she liked it cuz it was pink). I'm in college and I only brought 2 mice, the Vaxee and pulsar x2f (tiny fingertip mouse) and I don't really want to use the x2f for everything. we're not really on good terms so wondering if anyone else has any experience with this. should I just use this as an excuse to get the ergo? I also had it in a nice pmm case with some skates aswell :(

Discussion Op1 8K v2 wired (Raw input edition) from G-Wolves HTM plus (wireless)
Was looking around for new mice lately. I saw that Visocse had collaborated with endgame on this cool pink mouse.
My main game is the finals. My previous two mice I have real game time with are the Fenrir Asym and the HTM plus both wireless. Some people on this forum helped me correct my fingertip grip on the Fenrir and its helped alot. I've found myself gravitating to the HTM plus more just because its a more relaxed feel overall, and my hands are slightly larger than average.
I ordered the Op1 8k V2 for $90 bucks. I have it on a short bluerigger brand USB extension, and a cheap bungee from amazon. I figured this mouse would be a nice middle ground between the two very different sized gwolves.
The 20g increase from the HTM Plus is definetely noticeable but not too bad. The cable and associated drag isnt really noticeable. The big questions for me were
Is the mouse smoother with less jitter etc?
Is the latency improvement noticeable?
In both cases, yes. The most noticeable is the click latency improvement, especially with single shot precision weapons like the R-357. It feels like the very instant your brain goes to click the mouse, it registers. Overall pretty happy with it, I see why the Kovaaks aimlords advocate for it.

Looking for a new mouse that has button overhang
I've used a wired glorious model O for years & have gotten used to the space it creates for my ring finger. For reference I have 2 fingers on the right click: middle and ring. It gives me stability when moving my mouse and op'ing(I play Valorant a lot). I've tried the dav3 and x3 before realizing I need overhang. My grip style is claw fingertip hybrid

Question Looking for hand position feedback, tips, and recommended shapes (see images)
Hi everyone, believe it or not, I'm new to Reddit. I'd like to get some feedback on how I am positioning my hand on the mouse. I feel like I never gave it much thought, until now. Obviously my hand position is comfortable to some degree or I wouldn't have settled on it over the years, but maybe you guys have any feedback or suggestions? I've never really give mouse shapes much thought either. Pictured here is my XTRFY M4 wireless mouse that I bought several years ago. I am looking to replace it because I've had various problems with it over the years, specifically on charging and staying charged.
A few things that I'd like to point out:
1.) I don't really play many FPS games. I think the last competitive multiplayer game that involves shooting that I played seriously is one that most people never heard of called "Hawken", and it's a mech game with turn-rate caps on movement. So flicking the mouse with speed is not something I particularly need to do.
2.) I typically make contact with just those two knuckles as shown in one of the pictures, rather than the whole palm, but I do think that when I need a bit of extra precision, I "plant my wrist" on the mat and raise my hand a bit so I'm only touching the mouse with my fingers. I don't do this all the time though because I found that I needed to be very "clean" with my inputs when holding the mouse this way and generally required more focus on my part to do properly. I would also need to increase sensitivity to play all the time like this. I seem to favor keeping sensitivity where I have it now, such that a a full circle of view requires a few inches of travel for the mouse So, switching to this finger tip hold with a limited range of motion (due to the sensitivity) only when I need a slight bit of extra precision is how I've been doing it.
3.) My mouse currently weighs in at 69g (nice?) and I have never really had any strong thoughts on mouse weight. I see that some mice nowadays are a lot lighter. I remember using a 100+ gram Logitech mouse back in the day, so I guess I'm not too caught up in weights, but I'm open to try something lighter. I don't think I'm going to go for another perforated mouse though... Just look at hos dusty that Xtrfy is! That's gotta be at least an extra gram worth of dust.
4.) I am looking for shell/shape recommendations more than specific models, but feel free to recommend some models. Ultimately though, I'd like to know what shapes you guys think would work well given how I seem to hold the mouse.
5.) At the same time, I'm willing to adjust my hand position if you guys think "man, I used to hold the mouse like that but I found that I enjoyed more holding it like this instead". If you feel like I might enjoy a different technique, feel free to suggest it.
6.) Pinky... Yes. I seem to do it on most mice. I am actually not flexing any of my muscles to hold my pinky there, so that's just the relaxed position for it, and it just dangles off to the side. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this one.
7.) I am currently not using an actual mouse mat, but rather just a desk mat. So if you guys think I should look into one, I'm open to that as well. But is it really that much nicer? The mat I use now came with my keyboard, so I doubt it's optimized for mice (the keyboard is the NuPhy Halo65).
Thanks, and kind regards.

Mouse recommendation request
Hi folks! I currently have a Razer Mamba TE.. there is a lot I don't like about it and it's starting to have the double-click issue after several years with it.
My middle fingertip down to wrist is about 18cm, about 9cm across the knuckles. I tend to do the pincher claw grip.
I am a gamer but not an ultra-fast twitch fps esports type. I do play shooters sometimes but nothing competitive or multiplayer. I work on the computer all day so I need something that's going to be comfy for work and play. As I'm getting older (40's) I'm noticing the fatigue & tension in my hands.. I need something more ergonomic for my hand than this.
I like a tactile click (I use a mechanical keyboard) for the mouse buttons.. I don't think I'd like the optical based off of descriptions although I don't know if I've tried one. I'd also like a bit of a firmer snap to the mouse wheel, I find the Mamba to be very soft and squishy and it frequently overshoots when I'm trying to scroll through items in games.
I'm used to a cord but open to wireless if it's got a dock or something straightforward like that.
I have been trying to do research on new mice and I'm finding it very overwhelming.. I would appreciate some nudges in the right direction. I am in Canada. Thank you all very much!!

Question Good mice for claw grip for 20x9?
I’ve currently use the beast x max but the shape doesn’t really seem to fit into my hand as well as i thought. I constantly find myself readjusting my grip. I also had the xm2 in the past but i felt it was too wide and flat but i wasn’t a big fan of the weight either. The way i claw grip my mouse is shown below

Question Symmetrical Palm Grip Mice Recommendations?
Hey everyone, I am hoping to get some recommendations for symmetrical mice, that would work with my hand dimensions as a palm grip gaming mouse. I’d like to stay under $200, but that isn’t a hard cap, nor does that mean I won’t consider budget options as well.
My measurements:
* Wrist crease to middle finger: 185mm
* Width across knuckles: 89mm
Thanks in advance!

Question Anyone using the new Mad Catz M.M.O.7?
I have pretty small hands and struggle to use the buttons on most gaming mice. I'm interested in the mmo7 because it is adjustable and has a lot of buttons that I could potentially reach. There doesn't seem to be a lot of information or discussion about the newer mmo7. Does anyone have one? What do you think?

Help Looking for a preferably ergo relaxed claw mouse that doesn't lock in your hand. 20x10cm
I currently am using a deathadder V3 with a pincer claw grip and I feel like the buttons are too high, the hump is too far forward, and I grip too low to use the side buttons without shifting my grip. Right now the only parts of my hand usually making contact are my fingertips and right knuckle under my pinky.
I've tried the ASUS Harpe II Ace and immediately hated it and felt like I had to grip it way to far back.
I also tried the Endgame Gear XM2w and Scyrox V8, but the V8 was too small, and they both locked my hand into place so I had 0 finger mobility for aiming. They also were both kinda uncomfortable for my pinky which is why I'm looking for an ergo.
Tbh what I'm looking for is probably more of a fingertip mouse, but I don't want one of those super tiny ones as I sometimes grip the mouse with the part of my palm under my thumb for stability.

Help help, keychron m4 keeps freezing while being used wired
whenever i use the keychron m4 wired it keeps freezing, when it does its for about a second at a time, it doesnt matter which cable, or usb port, ive tried in all 3 of my usb 3.1 port(i have a laptop without any usb2 port) and i tried on my usb c thundervolt 4 port. ive tried with and without the battery in the mouse, ive alread done a firmware update, and i already checked if it was the mouse going to sleep or if it was some form of power saving on my system, the only way hte mouse works is 2.4ghz (havent tested bluetooth) and on 2.4ghz it doesnt matter what usb port ruling out usb 3.1 interference.
oh and when it freezes then comes back the cursor catches up as if the motion i had done was cached, i also tried on a different laptop running windows and still the same issue and when it did disconnect it didnt play disconnect sound or anything.
im on arch and here are the error the mouse gave when running sudo journalctl -kf

Question Mice similar to Glorious Model D
Hey!
I’ve been running the glorious model D for about 5 to 6 years now and it used to work great until yesterday when I spilled water onto it :(
I don’t really keep up with gaming mice but I figured it was about time I search for something new. I really like that it’s a lightweight mouse and the shape is super comfortable, so I was looking for anything similar and would appreciate any and all recommendations!

Question Need help finding a mouse upgrade
Hey everyone, I currently have a Redragon M607 Griffin, but I want to upgrade it because its showing its age(the cable cover is starting to show the wiring, some scratches) as I bought it like 6 years ago, works fine but I want to get a new one, idk if ultra light or heavy is the move as I understand the griffin is quite heavy(around 100g), I've tried other peripherals at my friends places but I'm too used to the side of the griffin where you can grip it and I can't find any other mouse with it for under 30-35$ which would be my max budget.
I use a palm grip and play games like deadlock, project zomboid, some RTS. I also code so I need something comfortable to use for long sessions. I'm not opposed to getting a chinese mouse so I'm open to any suggestion, I also dont like small ones like the logitech g203 if it helps.
I was looking at the Kronos Arrow Slim, Redragon M987-K Reaping and the Redragon M808 Storm but I can't decide before seeing all my options.

Help Looking for a budget-friendly wired gaming mouse with good Linux support
Hey everyone!
I'm looking for an affordable wired gaming mouse that works well on Linux (Arch-based distro, Hyprland/Wayland).
I'd prefer a brand that officially supports Linux, or at least has good compatibility with open-source tools like Piper or OpenRGB.
What I'm looking for:
Budget-friendly (around $20–40).
Wired connection.
Good sensor for FPS games.
Customizable DPI and buttons on Linux.
No Windows-only software required.
Which brands or models would you recommend?

I ordered this like a year ago lol. Original ETA was like April. I don’t even own a PC anymore, sold it after my cancer diagnosis. It does feel very nice though, might swing by a friends house to test it out before getting rid of it

Question Is it worth upgrading to a new superstrike x3 from an older gpx superlight?
Don’t really have any complaints about my old gpx and it’s still in nearly perfect condition so I’d be upgrading primarily for battery life, sensor upgrades, and especially for the hits system. Anyone with the superstrike think it’s worth the money or should I wait until some of Logitech’s competitors come up with their own hits style mice?

Question A lightweight Razer Basilisk / MX Master?
Keep seeing negative comments about the weight of the new Basilisk. - OK.
What do you recommend instead with a similar design?
Office work (+ casual gaming). Ergonomic shape, full palm. 5-7+ buttons (the more, the better, but not full Naga). Preferably wireless.
And with <100g weight?

Question BIFL (buy it for life) mouse recommendations
Hello Reddit mouse peoples!
First time buying my own computer mouse and I’m looking for:
- Right hand mouse
- As reliable, repairable as possible (ie, company has an ethos that allows for modular or replaceable components, uses parts that customers can find online etc)
- Ships to Canada
I would be using it for general computering and some gaming, but I’m not competitively gaming so I’m not concerned about lag and that type of thing so much. Moreso I want something that I can throw $$ towards now, and that will last me 5/10 years+ if I take good care of it type of thing. I don’t need the latest and greatest, I need good enough and reliable.
Bonus points:
- Canadian companies
- “Ethical” electronics companies (ie cares about the environment, modular minded companies, etc etc etc)
Basic mouse controls (two left/right buttons on top the mouse, a scroller) is totally fine, anything more advanced is fine too - programmable buttons is fine but I don’t consider it absolutely necessary for me.
I’m very much a generic computer/laptop user.
Not sure between wireless or wired either, I have 1 usb slot on current laptop (Microsoft Surface 2) running on Windows currently I believe.
When I can afford it my next laptop will hopefully be a Framework Laptop 12 of some sort running on Linux, in case that’s important (?).
Thanks in advance!

Mod Pulsar Tenz 2.0 Mini
Greetings Im from Asia (Philippines) and I rarely use my Pulsar mouse.
why did I bought it ? Im not a fan of Tenz nor Pulsar brand but I bought it bcos of its BLUE color as we all know, not many brands especially from mainstream release a BLUE colored mouse
that being said, if this post had enough karma likes, I'll mod my twice used Tenz mouse into 500or600 mAh battery from its stock 250mAh battery.
The mouse is working PERFECTLY well without any problems whatsoever, Im just getting OCD by the fact of the small battery and im playing on 2kHz polling rate.
I'll also buy another Tenz mini as backup and use my present Tenz mini to open up this sh*t and use it as my daily driver.
I did enough research including the type of battery, polarity of the PCB board and what type of connector it uses JST 1.00/1.25 or 1.50mm
I'll recheck this post after 24 hours
