As I began to obsess over highly textured glass pad, I came across the Dorsaint - Revelation, which was advertised to have a very grainy texture. Paired with a coated speedy surface, my interest was unfortunately piqued, once again. I don't talk about the art in my reviews, because they're not relevant to the performance, but they are definitely one of the deciding factors when I choose a pad. I don't want a massive cleavage on my pad if I can choose. So, what I want to say is, the art of the Revelation is probably the biggest reason why I decided to pull the trigger. Finally, something other than an anime girl.
I bought the Revelation at ¥459 RMB from TaoBao, which converts to roughly $69 USD. Compared to the other Chinese glass pad that I've bought, this one is a little bit more expensive, but not to an absurd degree. Unfortunately though, this pad has a limited stock of 500 pieces.
The texture of the Revelation is your typical smooth coated surface with a grainy pattern; however, the grains appear to be larger, and I can really feel that clear texture feedback when I swipe my hand across the pad. But this texture doesn't make the pad feel too coarse due to the coating.
The coated surface feels quite smooth and skin-friendly. I have tried playing on this pad without a sleeve; it works, but I would still recommend using a sleeve on this one, as it is not as smooth as other coated surface I'd used (most likely because of the larger grains).
As mentioned, this is a speed pad. The static and dynamic friction is equally low, and micro-adjustment feels effortless. However, this also calls for a higher level of mouse control, because a surface like this is pretty unforgiving. Push-down effect is non-existent, and you're relying solely on your skill for stoppage and speed matching. In return, you get a consistent glide no matter how your move your mouse.
From testing with several skates, both PTFE and UPE, I find that there aren't much difference the skates could make in terms of speed and friction. The only difference I can feel clearly is the texture feedback across all the tested skates. PTFE provides a smoother glide with less texture feedback, while UPE provides a very very very slighly slower glide with more texture feedback.
I didn't use the skates included in the package because I just didn't feel like it. Sorry about that.
Tested with: X-Raypad Obsidian/U9; Hotline No.9; Westlab Orange; Ultraglide Brake Bright V2
I've been using the Revelation for roughly a month. I mainly used this pad for aim training, and have tested the pad across all aim type. I find that all aim types feel very comfortable except for static clicking/switching. Using this pad is really a test of your mouse control, because it leaves you with very little room for error. If you're not good at stopping, the mouse will just continue drifting across the surface. I do think that the clear texture feedback helps with that, because it kind of lets you know how much distance you're covering on the pad as you move. That said, this pad takes some getting used to; but once you do, you'll get to experience that ultimate freedom and consistency. So, in my opinion, this pad is more suited for long TTK games like The Finals, Overwatch or Apex. But it doesn't mean it won't work for Tac FPS. You just need to up your game.
+ 500 x 450mm dimension
+ Includes all necessary accessories + carry case
+ Skin-friendly surface
+ Extremely consistent glide speed
= Good texture feedback
= Average level of noise
= Slightly more expensive
- Limited stock: 500pcs
If you're looking for a speedy, low-friction, smooth coated surface with good texture feedback, the Dorsaint - Revelation is made exactly for you. A big plus for this entire package as it includes a carry case for storage/travel, as well as all the fundamental accessories (dot skates, arm sleeve, wipe cloth). While the surface is most suited for long TTK games, you can definitely make it work on all game type if you put in the effort. A higher level of mouse control is needed in order to do so. One important thing to keep in mind is that skates didn't have as much effect on the speed as I had thought. The only big difference skates can make is the texture feedback. Overall, I enjoyed using this pad very much and have been using it mainly since I've got it. For the price of ¥459 RMB, I think the performance is absolutely worth it.
Please feel free to ask me anything regarding this pad in the comment.

Hi, I play mostly CS2 with high sensitivity, and I’m looking for a mousepad with low friction and very good stopping power.

Was looking into getting into the glasspad world, especially since it is always very humid in my room, so I cannot stand that muddy feeling on my mousepad, even on an Artisan. Are there any glasspads with similar glides as far as smoothness and speed? I'm quite happy with the Raiden in terms of these things.

I’m looking for recommendations for a new mousepad to replace my Artisan FX Zero Soft.
I bought a new Zero Soft from MaxGaming about a month ago to replace my old FX Zero, which I used for years until it finally wore out. Overall, I used to be very happy with the original Zero, but this new unit just doesn't feel right to me for a few reasons:
I play mostly TAC FPS (and occasionally tracking games), so I'm looking for a replacement pad similar to what the Zero is supposed to be, but with a smoother surface and less floatly and less of a dust/hair magnet.
I opened minded for another types of pads

I’ve been enjoying the Artisan Hien for a couple of years now and am generally very happy with my setup. However, I’m looking to improve one specific area: stopping power. Which skates would give me maximum stopping power? I don't mind if the overall glide gets a bit slower.
Chat recommends:
- tiger ice v2 or obsidian air
- coreoad ctrl
Thanks

I've been looking to buy a glasspad like a hachiware or pulsar superglide, (also open to other suggestions if u guys got any) but my friend recommended checking out the pd170. I'm really torn on which is the better purchase because most of the reviews I see say that they're pretty good and have really nice glide. The only exception is that the pd170 is cloth and the others are glass which make them easier to clean. I'm also looking for something more long term which makes me scared that the pd170 will start to wear down because of moisture and cleaning. I mostly play games like valorant and other tac shooters with low sens (0.07 on 3600 for val). I'm really new to the mousepad and tech scene so need some fire recommendations. Thanks!

Hi everyone!
I have a Pulsar Superglide v3 right now, and I was wondering if it was worth upgrading from it to a new glass mousepad. Since this is the only one I've owned, and it was the best deal I could find at the time, I don't know how different glass mousepads can be from one another, and thus if its worth upgrading from it.
I really like the low static friction on this mousepad, and having a fast glide. So, if you have any recommendations, please feel free to give them!

Hello,
Im tired of my cheap qck and looking for a great all around mousepad.
I mostly play League of Legends, but I do also play competitive shooters such as CS or Overwatch.
I have no idea what kind of pad I like in terms of speed / I can just adapt to something different.
What I didnt like with my qck is that it doesnt feel the same all the time, I feel like humidity has a net impact on the glide and the feeling (or maybe im just nuts).
So far the mousepads ive found noteworthy : Tang Dao SR/X (sold out)
LGG Saturn Pro (Ridiculously expensive shipping)
Qck heavy (I mean there's gotta be something better than this for the same price no?)
Vaxee PA black (sold out)
Zowie GSR-2 (sold out)
VAXEE PD140/150 Series (Dont really know what to think of these / Slightly on the pricier side)
Ive been looking at so many threads, and so many videos trying to find a good mousepad for me but I going nowhere. Everytime I feel like I got something, its sold out
Thank you for your consideration

I have been using the Pulsar Paracontrol V2 XXL (900x400mm) for over 3 years now. As it has gotten quite worn out, i'm looking for some options to upgrade to.
I used to really like the old LGG Saturn Pro XXL (1000x500mm) as it also has a red colorway to match my setup. They have now merged with Pulsar so its the eS Saturn Pro now but vendors in my place doesn't have it in the XXL size.
What are my options if i want to upgrade to a similar mousepad (controlled, medium speed) with a deskmat size? Or would i be better off just buy an eS Saturn Pro XL and put it on top of my Paracontrol?

my main concerns are-
stiching quality- does it differ between grey strata, wave and v2?
durability- will the printed one slow down over time as compaerd to black one?
washablility- are printed versions washable?

I'm looking for a new glass mousepad but I don't really know which to get. I've been mostly using artisan raiden mid for a while but it's gotten kinda slower even after clearing it doesn't feel that good to use anymore. I don't want to replace my pad every few months so I'm interested in a glass pad. Lately I've been using my old sp004 I got a while back but I'm not sure if I like it so I'm looking for something new. I mostly play fast tracking heavy games but also would like some stability. Pls elp :)

I’m currently using a Type99 with a ninjutso ten air with corepad full skates.
Main game is CS2, 1600dpi/0.45 sens currently, i do play in the 1000edpi range sometimes when i m feeling it though.
I started my mousepad journey with the Key-83. I mostly love almost everything about this pad, but I have some issues.
First, what I love; the speed and consistency when tracking, especially recoil control feels amazing. My sprays got so much tighter with this pad. CS isn’t a tracking heavy game, I know but there are situations when clearing or holding you want smooth tracking. Micros are very smooth and controlled on this pad as well.
However I can feel quite jittery on this pad, like when holding angles I never feel quite locked in. And while my flicks tend to be fast and relatively accurate I tend to “bounce” on target.
As for the Type-99:
Absolutely hated this pad on my Sora 4k with artisan dots, figured it was a pressure issue and that’s when i got the Ten Air. That solved some issues and made the pad very usable.
What I love about this pad is, well, the control (duh).
Holding angles feels incredibly stable, my flicks are more stable, and more accurate however I’m struggling with the micros after flicking.
Tracking, while it got better after i switched to a lighter mouse with full skates, is very unreliable. And my spray control has gotten significantly worse on this pad.
Considering the pros and cons of each pad I think something in the middle would suit me best, and that would be the zero I’m assuming? (Or something from another brand i’m not a loyalist, but i do like the quality of artisan so far).
Sorry for rambling, any help or recommendations are appreciated.

I recently had to file a return order for a mousepad I had ordered off of Etsy after inspecting it closer which turned out to be AI slop and ripped off an actual artist's illustration.
AI art is not something I want to proudly decorate my desk with, or my room. Give me something made by hand, and is original. Seller/artist shop suggestions are welcome.

I love the feeling of the G640 when it's new out of the box, but the durability of it is an issue. I'm planning on buying a Puretrak CL1 since I hear it's super similar.

I placed an order with Potent Gaming for a Padsmith mousepad on October 8th while it was on sale. For the next four days, my order status continued to show “Awaiting Fulfilment,” so I emailed them to follow up and ask what was happening with my order.
The very next day, I suddenly received this email, but I still haven’t received my refund. Could someone please clarify what I’m supposed to do from here?

I can only find the x-ray pad one and the lgg which ran out for a while.
Is this category dead yet? Or should I give up and get a designer mat.

I am currently using XXL Artisan zero paired with the op1 8k v2 and I have been enjoying that combo a lot besides the weight of the op1. But I just got the G-Wolves HTM Plus 8k and found that the sensor is so low on the mouse that whenever I press down hard on the left click and drag down it stops reading due to my mouse pad being too soft. So bascially I am asking for suggestions on control pads that are firmer then the Artisan zero soft but provide relatively the same control. Maybe something like the Saturn Pro firm.

I bought this WLQISHA at the beginning of the year since it came from a steelseries qck that had been around for a long time and I already had to change it. I bought it because I thought it would be useful for all games but when playing CS2 (My main game) I overshoot a lot and my aim is shaky. The mousepad doesn't seem like a bad mousepad to me, it just doesn't match what I want and I was looking at other options, I saw that perhaps the ATK 99g could be too slow, that the ATK Blaze could be a good option and the ATK Sky is the recommended option. It should be noted that my mousepad is the WLQISHA SPEED version and that my grip is a fingertip and my mouse is a beast g mini. Thank you.
