Announcement Combating Repost Bots + Info for new Users
Hello there,
in the last weeks we saw an influx of bots reposting content from the sub's all time top posts to farm karma.
That is done because Reddit accounts with a lot of karma are generally considered to be trusted by Reddit's filters, making them valuable for advertisement or nefarious uses like spreading misinformation. The bots are setup to repost popular stuff in communities which don't have filters in place preventing new accounts from posting.
Until today we were such a sub. We have now implemented a filter that limits posting to “reputable users”, basically accounts that aren't fresh and have some Reddit karma. Most, if not all, of our active userbase will not be affected by the filter.
However, if you are a new user and have problems posting due to the filter, please let us know! We can manually approve you and your posts.
Please also let us know if you run into issues caused by the filter.
Thank you all!
-TK

Collection Vintage Japanese Model Gun: MGC Thompson M1921
Just received this MGC (Shin-Nihon Mokei) Thompson M1921 model gun.
The contrast between the deep blued metal receiver and the rich, beautifully grained wood stock is incredible. The machining lines, sharp "MODEL OF 1921" markings, and the overall fit and finish truly capture the craftsmanship of vintage Japanese model guns. A gorgeous piece for any classic SMG collection!

WWII - Allied Powers The watch that won the war
Ww2 Elgin Type 11 watch. The most famous Us issued watch of the war. Issued by the us armed forces to Soldier sailors and airman. Watches like these were used to time attacks, bombing raids, naval strikes and so on. One of the most important tactical items for a soldier during ww2. Thanks for looking.

Cold War - Others New Order Era - Indonesian Military Riot Control Smock
so what i got here is a relatively uncommon Camouflage smock used to the Indonesian Military. Issued to the Army and Mobile Brigade alike during the indonesian May 1998 Crisis,.
Its tagged "ABRI 98-99.284". ABRI corresponding to Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Indonesia or Armed Forces of the Republic of Indonesia in english. 98-99 corresponds to the Fiscal year this was produced, and 284 corresponds to this smocks item ID.
So what from ive got from a little bit of research, this pattern wasnt designed for blending into a wild enviroment. Most of them were deployed to urban enviroments like highways or streets and mostly intended to differentiate a Police officier to a Mobile Brigade officer or Army soldier. And also might have been designed for intimidation purposes, interesting pattern eitherway.

Help Family tin of militaria: possibly WW1 medals, an Australian badge and two British badges. Help identifying?
Found these together in a family tin (UK, possibly Bristol). I think they're mostly WW1-era, but I could be wrong. Photos are in this order:
Group of four medals on one bar: a star that seems to read "1914", a silver medal, a bronze medal, and a fourth with what looks like George V on a dark blue ribbon
Badge reading "AUSTRALIAN COMMONWEALTH MILITARY FORCES", maybe a Rising Sun? Not sure if it's original or a copy
Brass St George and the dragon badge with a blue scroll reading "ST GEORGE FOR ENGLAND"
Brass "RAF" badge in a wreath under a crown
Any help identifying or dating any of them would be appreciated. Thanks!

Help Help with M31 Breadbag
Hello Everyone!
I got this M31 Breadbag a few months ago and was wondering, if it's actually a genuine example from World War Two.
Everything about it looks pretty good, but the inside is divided, which shouldn't be the case?
Could anyone help me with this one?
Thanks!
