Possible to make my interior look older? Lol

Tldr; is it possible to convert my interior to look older or something of that sort? Read below if youd like more context! Haha :)

Hello everyone! 👋 So I recently got this nd miata a few months ago, I enjoy it a good amount. But I mostly just HATE modern cars. I find everything ugly abt them. 😂 The nd isnt too bad tho. But i DONT like how modern the interior looks like.

I really like cars from around 1990s tho. So the reason I got this car, is because before this car i had a 1992 eg honda civic. I bought it engine swapped with a type r engine and all. (A impulsive purchase) But because it didnt have things like, radio, power steering, AC... (i live in az so it was getting TOASTY) Also along with the fact that im not mechanically inclined/ savvy and there were some issues arising like with the cv boot axels leaking grease, some other mechanical issues i dont remember what they were... (also it was hell getting my tags, because the car coudnt pass emissions, it was literally impossible to get my plates. I only got them from a loop hole. Ill leave it at that.)

Anyways, all too say I sold the car because it was becoming a money pit. I wanted a 1996 miata, but my parents didnt want me too get an older car again. So too keep them happy i compromised on getting a miata but a modern one to keep them happy. And I like the car, BUT like I said earlier, not a fan of the interior. So heres my question...

Is there anyway I could possibly convert my interior too a more 1990s type looking style? Where itd just look less busy and cluttered? Lol

Question Beater Nbfl, is the rust worth fixing?

I've bought an NB about a month ago, with the intention of buying it for daily summer driving for any short trips. I took it to a mechanic to inspect a couple of small issues that popped up and long story short, there is a lot of rust.

Engine rails are mostly nonexistent, rockers are shot with some small holes even. All the bushings are shot and arms will need replacing in the foreseeable future.

This is on top of other smaller issues the car has.

This mechanic has quoted me around 6000€ for all the repairs, which is around double I paid for the car itself. I could probably get it done cheaper, but not by a whole lot.

From what I've gathered I have 3 options.

  1. Sell the car (most likely at a loss), cut my losses and buy a more looked after piece for more $$$. But even a more expensive one can have its own issues, so it's not a guarantee.

  2. Fix the most critical issues and ride it till it's not sustainable and it just falls apart.

  3. Fix the problems in smaller sections so I can afford it, do all the work I can myself and have a rust free, working miata. Although I'm not sure if it's worth it at all for a base 2002 1.6 with 190k km on the clock.

Any pointers on where to go next?

Question Parking brake light

On my way to work today and my parking brake light comes on. First odd thing is that my parking hasn’t worked like since I bought the car (I just havnt had time to fix it) but other than that when it came on I didn’t hit any bump or turn hard or anything, just came on while I was on the highway. Any recommendations? I check my brake fluid but can’t do much else while I’m at work.

Now carrying NOPRO (Nogami project): 10% off

ADOPT is now an authorized supplier of NOPRO parts, from the Miata platform specialists that develop and run products for the MURAKAMI MOTORS MX-5 entry in the Super Taikyū supertouring endurance racing series.

NOPRO products are 10% off while we batch initial orders. We plan to import their NC hardtops sometime early next year.

MANUFACTURER: NOGAMI PROJECT (NOPRO)
VENDOR: ADOPT MOTORSPORTS

MSRP: $440
-10%: $400

NOPRO toe lockout/toe cancellation arms for the NC are by far the most popular product we get requests for. These arms remove the NC's dynamic toe change under heavy cornering loads, removing skittish, unstable, or otherwise neurotic rear end sensations typical to NC, especially on touge routes or B roads with uneven surfaces.

NC on stiff suspension typical to entry level kits like BC Racing will experience this rear end instability even more so.

All products from NOPRO's catalog are available on request, even if unlisted. Prices are already inclusive of customs charges, tariff, Japanese consumption tax, and other fees. Orders ship via air express, ETA 1.5-2 weeks.

Anyone know if this exhaust is any good? I’ve been looking for a new exhaust for a little bit and am looking for something with centered tips+diffuser. Is the experience with carbon miata any good? If anyone has this exhaust any chance you could drop a photo and the sound? Much appreciated in advance.

Low mount turbo manifold for the MX-5, external gate

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We're FOJI Raceworks, an MX-5 workshop in Cornwall, UK.

This is our manifold for low mount turbo setups with external gates, designed to keep everything tucked and refined.

This one is for a customer's forged 1.8 VVT.
It's going to be a full package, with the turbo support, oil lines, water inlet and routing all packaged around the low mount setup.

It was drawn in our own 3D tool, which we built around parts development for Mazdas.

My '91 NA started making a new noise today. It's accompanied by a burning smell. Any idea what's causing this? I suspect a belt, but I wanted to consult the council.

Hey everyone this is my first standard vehicle it’s a 1991 Mx-5 it has about 131,000 miles I’ve had it since ~110,000 miles this is the clutch right? I replaced the clutch slave cylinder about 500 miles ago and I haven’t had any problems with the car until now. If it’s the clutch could you guys give me some options for clutch kits?
