I'm trying to open up my legion to clean the fans but the front clips and the corners (near the mousepad) won't budge at all! Everything else is out and all screws are out but I can't seem to get those to move, please help, any is greatly appreciated.
I'm planning to buy a Lenovo LOQ 15IRX10 with an Intel Core i7-13650HX and an RTX 5070, but I have a few questions before buying it.
For those who own this model, are you happy with it overall? How has your experience been so far?
I've seen quite a few reports about motherboard failures, BSODs (Blue Screens of Death), and other issues with Lenovo LOQ laptops.
Is the 15IRX10 also affected by these problems? Have any of you experienced motherboard failures, random shutdowns, BSODs, or other reliability issues?
I'd especially appreciate feedback from people who have owned this model for several months. Are there any long-term solutions or preventive measures to avoid these issues?
My E16 Gen 2, Intel processor died some time ago. The motherboard failed, and repairing it is too expensive.
I didn't have the money until now, but now I'm ready for a "new" used motherboard.
While I was looking for one, I noticed that the E16 Gen 4 motherboard appears to be identical in shape and size to the Gen 2. I mean Intel to Intel motherboards. What is perhaps the key part, the ports seem to be in the same place.
That got me thinking. It looks like the Gen 4 MB will fit the case. And if it does, it may be a nice upgrade. (Curiously I've found a Gen 4 motherboard even slightly cheaper than the Gen 2 I'm interested in)
The title says it all, I've looked literally everywhere, and can't find anyone selling it new, or even used. I really want the original keyboard, because it connects using the 3 pogo pins, instead of bluetooth, and is an all in one with the case, instead of a separate device. I live in Poland if that makes any difference
Hi, just want to ask for some technical advice. Do you think my laptop is still repairable Lenovo ideapad 3 gaming?
It suddenly shut down while gaming when I plugged it directly into a wall socket. I later noticed a burning smell near the charging port, possibly due to a problem with the socket.
Now, the charging LED works, and the power button LED blinks 3–4 times, but there is no display. I also noticed something unusual when I opened the laptop.
Has anyone experienced this before? Do you think it could still be repaired? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
I have both an IdeaTab and a TabOne, and both of them have a setting on the home-screen for "Charge Animation".
I have set it to something, and I cannot for the life of me figure out HOW to activate the display.
I have tried:
Keeping the tablet OFF while charging.
Keeping the tablet ON while charging.
Turning the screen off while charging.
Turning the screen on while charging.
Leaving the screen on while charging.
Letting the screen time out while charging.
Setting it to the lock screen while charging.
Letting the lock screen time out while charging.
The only thing it does is when powered OFF and the screen turned ON it displays the generic battery icon with the green power level, or when powered ON and the screen timed out it does a roaming clock screen-saver, which is a setting I cannot even find in order to try and override.
I know its a super minor thing, and just an aesthetic change, but if there's a setting that's supposed to do something and it doesn't seem to do anything it's fairly frustrating, and there's NOTHING in the user manual, nor did I find anything in google searches. In fact, google says there is NOT a charge animation for these tablets, but I found the settings so WTH?
As of today, Lenovo has started accepting pre-orders for the IdeaPad Vibe lineup. However, I'm a little disappointed by the display options currently listed. So far, the only available option appears to be a WUXGA (1920 × 1200) IPS panel with 45% NTSC, a 60Hz refresh rate, and 400 nits of brightness. Neither of the other two display options mentioned in the specifications (PSREFs) seems to be available:
2.1K OLED display
WUXGA IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage
The latter would be particularly appealing, as it would offer a smoother experience and better color reproduction without requiring an OLED panel.
This makes me wonder whether these display options will become available later or whether Lenovo is saving them for the Intel-powered models expected to launch at a later date.
What do you think? Are these display options likely to arrive in future configurations, or will they remain exclusive to certain models or markets? I'd be particularly interested to hear from anyone who has more information about Lenovo's rollout plans. Thanks in advance for your time!
So I wanna try emulating PC games on the Lenovo y70 2026 and or any phone close to that price range. Also has anybody tried emulating on this phone or on other phones? How does it fair?
Today after battery discharging i tried to charge it again but laptop doesn't turned on. Tried to hard reset ( pressed power button for a minute and even more ) but doesn't help.
The battery cuts out randomly on battery power (even at 100%), then gets stuck at 0% and won’t charge. If I unplug it, the laptop dies instantly. HWiNFO shows ~17.06V but 0% charge and 0.000W charge rate. Laptop works fine plugged in. No swelling or high temps (~29°C).
Out of warranty. This is my second battery. The first battery had a similar issue, and I got it replaced under warranty 2 years ago.
The battery has 104 charge cycles, and capacity is at 58.51 Wh / 80 Wh (~27% wear after 2 years).
I’ve tried reseating the battery cable, holding the power button for 60s while unplugged, the BIOS “Disable Built-in Battery” option, and leaving it shut down on the charger. Nothing changed.
I never game on battery. I use Conservation Mode, Quiet mode, and everything else I can to save battery when I’m unplugged. (Oddly, I’ve still seen it charge to 100% with Conservation Mode on.)
Is this just a faulty battery? Do I just have to replace it? This is the second battery to fail on this laptop in 3 years. Should I suspect something wrong with the laptop itself?
