PR/Marketing needed [Hobby] Looking for help marketing my combat puzzle game

• Upvotes

Game title: Blade of Magnifica
Genre: Combat Puzzle
Development Status: Polish phase

The Project
The game is a puzzle game about killing monsters and harnessing their element from their blood. You use these elements to solve creative combat puzzles. For example, you can kill a fire monster, and then harness the fire element from their blood, applying it to your sword. This allows you to kill a shielded monster you couldn’t before. The game has a medieval fantasy setting.

It is a mostly solo project that I have been working on for about 4 years. It has gotten quite big, with 48 unique levels. It is in the final stages of development and I hope to release it either at the end of this year or at the start of next year

Here is a GIF from the game so you can get a sense of the gameplay and art style. https://imgur.com/a/blade-of-magnifica-gameplay-mB9Z6ps
You can play the game here:
https://alberted.itch.io/blade-of-magnifica
I also have a pitch deck explaining the game further:
https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1xjY0nKyTaCT3c003hiWIb8gymKMCJUsAvgJQIPA1tNg/edit?usp=sharing

What I am looking for
I believe I have a very strong game here. It has a unique concept, and when playtesting, people generally love it. However, I don’t have any marketing experience, so in order for the game to be a success, I would need help for that. I think we would have to discuss and plan a marketing strategy together. The game also has a steam page, but it is not public yet. If you are interested send me a DM!

Programming Offer [ForHire] - Unity dev looking for project to work on

• Upvotes

Hey, I'm Nick, I have 4 years of experience working with unity and C# as a game developer and I am eager to bring your ideas to life.

I work well both in a team setting and as a solo developer. I've worked on 3D and 2D titles across various genres and I can adjust quickly to the needs of any project.

All you have to do is describe your vision and then we can clearly map it out together. This way, we'll have a straight forward plan we can follow while staying in continuous communication and adjusting features according to your feedback so as the end result will mirror your original vision perfectly.

I can also work on ongoing projects that might need extra programming work either short or long term.

I am looking for commercial projects to work on and I'll need some form of compensation to work with you. We can discuss if that will be in the form of a weekly wage or a set price per goal/milestone but it depends on the length and complexity of your project.

You can check out the last project I've been a part of as a Unity Programmer here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3949420/Runic_Tower/

You can contact me preferably on discord, username is tsakfly, or here, with a message on reddit.

PR/Marketing needed [RevShare] Looking for a Sales/Marketing Partner to Collaborate With

• Upvotes

I'm an independent technical freelancer looking to grow my client base. I handle the technical side of things, but client acquisition is something I'm still figuring out.

I'd like to connect with someone from a sales, marketing, or business development background who is also starting out and interested in gaining practical experience.

The idea is simple: combine our skills to find potential clients, understand their needs, and turn those opportunities into paid projects. I'd handle technical implementation, while we could work together on prospecting, outreach, and developing the business.

This would be a partnership, not an employment opportunity. I already have a client, but I'm looking to expand beyond that. We'd be starting small, testing what works, and discussing a fair, performance-based compensation model.

No promises of overnight success, but potentially an opportunity to build something together and gain real-world experience along the way.

If this sounds interesting, feel free to DM me. We can discuss our skills, expectations, and whether we'd be a good fit.

PR/Marketing needed [HOBBY] Looking for a video editor for a WWI RTS game

I’m looking for a video editor to help create 3 trailers for my WWI RTS, Moment of Decision: WWI, with the potential for more trailers/promotional videos in the future.

I can provide a DEV build of the game, so you’ll be able to record any gameplay footage you need yourself. I’ll also provide clear direction for what I want each trailer to focus on, along with screenshots, artwork, logos, and other assets where needed.

This is currently an unpaid/portfolio collaboration, and you’re completely welcome to use the finished trailers in your portfolio/showreel.

Artist Needed [Hobby] Pixel Character Artist needed for a 2D Metroidvania

Hello, Chewey here. I'm the lead of a small indie team called Dead Alpaca. We're currently looking for a pixel artist to create and animate characters for our 2D Metroidvania, Scars of Nacht.

Game Info

The game follows our protagonist Dracula as he wanders his kingdom that he has left dormant for 1000 years. Dracula must reclaim his kingdom and solve a couple of mysteries while at it. The plot focuses on themes of redemption. amongst other gothic themes that are found within Bram Stoker's Dracula. We strive to create a blend of modern and classic content. It is a way of paying homage to Bram Stoker's original Dracula and other icons.

The Team

Currently, our team includes a programmer, story writer, map-designer, UI artist, and a social media manager. We are still lacking in someone to design and animate our character. We have tried in the past to use one of our other artist for this but none seem to be the best fit.

Scope + Expectations

THIS IS STRICTLY A PASSION-PROJECT. We are doing this only because we wish to make it exist and for people to enjoy our creation no matter how big or small that number be. We are not doing this to make money. While it would be quite nice if this game made revenue (which we would share), but if it doesn't, then no issues there.

The reason we chose to do this project is due to how gaming has influenced our lives. It's helped people escape depressive states and truly see the beauty of the world. If we can transform the life of one person then that's a win in our books.

Since its a passion project we expected the game to take a while to develop. As we have a lot of planned content, but also since we have our lives. We do have weekly goals to stay on task. However, some weeks we fail to meet that goal but that isn't an issue. Everyone has a personal life which needs its own attention. Let art take its time to be the best art it can be.

Portfolio

PORTFOLIO: this is my first project and do not have a portfolio of any kind.

Art Offer [ForHire] Looking for indie creators who need a hand with their animation projects 🎬

Hey everyone!

I'm part of Drowned Ink Studio, a small independent 2D animation studio based in Malaysia. We're looking to connect with indie creators and teams who are working on their own animated projects.

We know how much time, effort, and money it takes to bring an animation project to life, especially when you're working with a small team. Sometimes, having an extra pair of hands can make a big difference.

That's where we'd love to help!

Our studio provides 2D animation production for projects such as animated pilots, short films, and indie series. We're open to discussing projects of different scopes to see what works for both sides.

If you're not ready to commit to a full production, we're also open to starting with a small paid test cut so we can get familiar with each other's workflow first.

If you're working on something and think we might be a good fit, feel free to drop me a DM! Tell me a little about your project, and if you have any animation references, I'd love to see them.

Even if you're still in the early stages of development, feel free to reach out. It would be great to connect with more people in the indie animation scene.

Looking forward to seeing what you guys are working on! ✨

Writer Needed [RevShare] Looking for writers and an artist for my manga!

Hey, I've been working on an original manga called RUINWAKE, and I'm looking for two writers and an artist who might want to work on it with me.

It's a dark-fantasy shonen story about a 17-year-old named Riven Ashfall. He's a goofy adventurer who gets himself into trouble a lot, but he has a terrifying side that comes out when things get serious. The world has dangerous monsters, different kingdoms, and a lot of mysteries surrounding Riven and where he came from.

I want to make a story with good fights, funny moments, characters people actually care about, and secrets that make sense when you look back at earlier chapters. I'm a big fan of foreshadowing, so I definitely want that to be a big part of the story.

I'm looking for two people who enjoy writing and coming up with ideas, plus an artist who'd be interested in drawing characters and eventually helping bring the manga to life. I'd love to start with designing the main character, Riven.

I already have a lot of ideas for the world, characters, and story, but I want to work with people who can bring their own ideas to the table too.

Just being honest, I don't have money to pay anyone right now. I'm hoping to find people who'd be interested in collaborating and seeing where we can take this. We'd talk about credit, ownership, and any future money the project might make before starting anything.

If you're interested, feel free to comment or message me! Tell me a little about yourself and what you enjoy writing or drawing. If you've got any artwork or writing samples, I'd love to see them.

I'm excited to see who I can find to help build this thing.

Artist Needed [REVSHARE] Looking for a 3D Artist / Game Artist (no need to be professional but know what you are doing) for our Dark Fantasy P&P RPG

Hey everyone!

I'm the founder of Gloamforge Games, and we're currently working on our first game, Under a Dying Crown.

This whole thing actually started as a little solo project of mine. Somehow, it's slowly turning into a proper team!

We've now got a sound and music composer, a software developer, and my brother, who somehow managed to get himself involved too.

Our little international chaos crew is currently spread across Germany, Denmark, and Norway.

So, what's the game about?

Under a Dying Crown is a dark fantasy digital Pen & Paper RPG set in the medieval fantasy world of Ardium.

We're combining classic tabletop RPG mechanics like dice rolls, character stats, abilities, and player choices with explorable 3D dungeons.

One of the main features is our Dungeon Master system (playable as player), which guides players through the story, describes situations, and reacts to their actions.

We're trying to capture that feeling of sitting around a table with friends, rolling dice, making questionable decisions, and hoping things don't go horribly wrong. Just in a video game.

Visually, we're going for a dark gothic fantasy atmosphere with ancient crypts, creepy dungeons, monsters, and places you'd probably never want to visit in real life.

I'm currently working on implementing multiplayer, and I'm hoping to have Chapter 1 finished within the next few weeks.

How far along are we?

We're still pretty early in development, but quite a few things are already working.

I also want to be completely upfront about something:

I'm using Claude to help with programming, and we're currently using some AI-generated images as placeholders.

Those images aren't intended to be our final artwork. That's actually one of the main reasons we're looking for an artist!

We want someone who can help give the game its own unique visual identity.

Who are we looking for?

Ideally, a 3D Artist or Game Artist who enjoys dark fantasy and would like to help with things like:

  • 3D models and environments
  • Medieval architecture, crypts, and dungeons
  • Monsters, characters, and props
  • Materials, textures, and general art direction

You definitely don't need to be amazing at everything!

If you're good at one of these areas and think the project sounds interesting, we'd love to hear from you.

What about payment?

Unfortunately, we're not in a position to offer a fixed salary right now.

So we're looking for someone interested in a revenue-share collaboration. We'd discuss the details together and put everything into a proper written agreement.

If things work out and you'd like to stick around long-term, there's also the possibility of joining Gloamforge Games as a permanent business partner with an ownership stake.

And probably the most important part!

There are absolutely no required working hours!

We all have our own lives, jobs, and responsibilities.

Work on the project whenever you have the time and motivation. Whether that's a few hours a week or more is entirely up to you.

Nobody is expected to put in 20, 30, or 40 hours a week.

Of course, we'd love to stay in touch, share progress, and work together whenever possible. But we want this to be something people genuinely enjoy working on, not another full-time job.

We're just a small group of people who want to make a cool game together and hopefully have a lot of fun along the way.

If you'd like to join a young indie project and help bring the world of Ardium to life, feel free to send me a message!

A portfolio or a few examples of your work would be awesome.

Hope to hear from you!

Programmers Needed [RevShare] Looking for game devs to build interactive livestream games - 50/50 revenue share

I’ve built a platform for developing and running interactive games on YouTube and Twitch livestreams, and I’m looking for game developers interested in building games for it.

I’m a software developer, but not really a game developer, so rather than trying to build everything myself, I’d like to partner with people who are good at the game side. I’ll provide and operate the streaming platform/infrastructure, and I’m offering a 50/50 revenue split on games you develop for it.

The basic idea is that viewers watch a game on a normal livestream and interact with it through chat and gifts. The game can respond to guesses, votes, commands, etc., depending on what you build.

I have an example Wordle-style game streaming on YouTube right now that you can actually play through the chat:

https://youtube.com/live/Kbmz-cbqNxc

How development works

Games are just web applications. You can use whatever framework, engine, or web stack you want as long as the game can run in a browser. The platform launches and renders the game and handles the actual livestreaming.

There’s an SDK that connects your game to the livestream and provides APIs for stream interactions, so you don’t need to build YouTube/Twitch integrations yourself.

The platform also includes an AI host. Games can give the host instructions and game context, and the host can generate speech dynamically during the stream. So, for example, it can explain the game, react to what players are doing, announce results, comment on events, keep the stream moving between rounds, etc.

You can focus on designing and building the actual game, while the platform handles the livestream infrastructure, viewer interaction plumbing, and provides useful development tooling and APIs for integrating those features into your game.

What I’m looking for

I’m open to pretty much any game concept. Trivia, puzzles, strategy games, simulations, audience-vs-audience games, collaborative games, social/party games, or something completely different could all be interesting.

The important constraint is that the game should make sense as something people can watch and participate in through a livestream, rather than just being a conventional game that happens to be streamed.

For an initial collaboration, I’m proposing a 50/50 split of the revenue generated by your game. I’ll handle hosting and operating the platform/streams; you build the game using the SDK.

This is still an early project, so I’m particularly interested in developers who think the concept sounds fun and want to experiment with what kinds of games work in this format. I'm not picky about the games or working on with experienced devs. Anyone is welcome to try and vibe code something fun for the platform.

If you’re interested, comment or DM me. I’m also happy to share more details about the SDK, architecture, revenue model, or how games run on the platform.

Artist Needed [Hobby] Concept Artists Wanted for a Horror/Survival Game (Unpaid, No Portfolio Needed)

Hi r/INAT! We're a small hobby team making The Teratogen Project, a first-person horror/survival RPG in Unity. It's our first project, and we're looking for concept artists to help define the look of the game. We need alien creatures inspired by dinosaurs and prehistoric animals, plus island and character designs. The art direction is still a rough draft, so your ideas can shape it.

This is a fully unpaid hobby project. The story includes child peril, abuse themes, and gore, so only apply if that's okay for you.

Comment or message Siegeisok67 on discord with your work, your favorite area (creatures, characters, or islands).

Art Offer [FORHIRE] Pixel Artist — Fantasy RPG Portraits, Expression Sets, Character Sprites & Item Icons

Hi everyone! I’m a pixel artist open for paid commissions and small indie game projects. I’d love to work with solo developers and small teams looking for fantasy character art and pixel assets.

I’m available for:

• Character portraits and dialogue busts

• Facial expression variations

• Small full-body character and creature sprites

• Inventory icons, including weapons, tools, food, and other items

The attached examples show my current style, including fantasy portraits, character expressions, small sprites, and item designs. I particularly enjoy giving characters personality through their faces, outfits, and colours.

I’m interested in smaller, clearly defined commissions—whether that’s one NPC portrait, a portrait with several expressions, a character sprite, or a matching set of inventory icons.

Pricing depends on dimensions, complexity, asset count, and intended usage. We can agree on the scope, price, and timeline before work begins.

If my style fits your project, send me a Reddit message with your game concept, required assets, references, budget, and deadline. Happy to discuss individual commissions or a small batch of assets!

Hi everyone!

I'm Jo, and I'm looking to collaborate with indie developers who need English to Simplified Chinese game localization.

I'm currently building my localization portfolio and offering free translation for selected small indie projects.

What I can help with:

  • Game dialogue and story text
  • UI, menus, and item descriptions
  • Quests, tutorials, and in-game instructions
  • Proofreading and localization review

I'm especially interested in RPGs, story-driven games, and creative indie projects, but I'm open to other genres.

A few things to note:

  • Free localization for selected projects, preferably under 1,500 English words.
  • I'd appreciate an in-game credit and permission to include the work in my portfolio.
  • We can discuss the project scope and deadline before starting.

If you're interested, feel free to leave a comment or send me a DM!

Thanks!

Audio Offer [ForHire] [Revshare] Rock and metal musician at your service!

Let's cut to the chase. You want badass music for your game? I got you.

I'm a musician and have worked on several small projects. I was on Team First Try where we published a few game jam games. And I've made the soundtrack for Oh My Lord, which was fully published on Steam.

I've been a diehard metalhead all of my life, and videogames have absolutely been a pillar of that. If you're looking for your game to have a soundtrack in the style of Sonic The Hedgehog, Doom, or even something like the Persona games or Undertale, that's my bread and butter. I'm mainly influenced by classic metal and progressive rock.

As far as experience goes, I've worked on several teams and have experience as a project leader when it comes to music. Direction, production, writing, performing.

Here's the breakdown of what I can play, what I own and what you are getting when you hire me.

- Electric guitar (10 years experience. Main guitar is a PRS SE Custom 24, I use a Squire Stratocaster as well)
- Keyboard/Piano (6 years experience. Keyboard is an M-AUDIO Keystation 61 MK3)
- Acoustic Guitar (6 years experience. Guitar is a Fender Dreadnaught)
- Bass (6 years experience. Main bass is an Ibanez SR370RE Fretless)

I work with Cubase Pro for my DAW

Now, rock and metal is not all I can do. I have made quite a lot of orchestral music. In fact when it comes to experience in making music for videogames, orchestral is the bulk of what I have done. So if you're looking for something a little more like Final Fantasy or Xenoblade, I can absolutely do that as well.

Here is my portfolio, it has a great variety of styles, so I'll point you to whichever you are most interested in

For rock and metal, see: Drive, Echo, Crushing Tides

For orchestral, see: Warning, Force of Nature, Final Battle, Sunset

For jazz(ish), see: Dancing Cinders

For ballad/ethereal, see: Fairy Lights, Beautiful Heartbreak

Hope you enjoy, and hope to talk soon!
