Hi everyone! For my Chem IA, I'm doing titration, but I came across a MAJOR ISSUE regarding my propagated uncertainties.
My titre values in general are very small (approximately 0.10–0.60 cm³) while I used a 50 mL burette (±0.05), and so overall my uncertainties are pretty high (my IV propagated uncertaintes as followed: 101.3%, 78.2%, 60.1%, 18.0%, 38.3%).
That being said, I literally have a 101.3% uncertainty for one of my data points (my first IV data - 0.10 cm³ titre). I am so worried now that my entire data is proven to be so unreliable, and I am going to be completely marked down. I don't know what to do anymore because I have no time to redo my experiment either with a different methodology.
Also, I have an anomaly in my data (the DV suddenly increased significantly, not following a steady linear trend, and so there is a random peak in the middle of my data), which also happens to be the data with the smallest uncertainty value (as the titre values are bigger??).
Anyways, I'm sorry. I know it's a bit of a confusing question, but I am so concerned as to what to do now, I only have a few days before my final.
