The headset light is flashing red and green fast, the dongle's is blinking red fast, doesnt connect even after multiple tries, dongle is detected on computer, OS most likely isnt an issue as i have tried with Linux, Windows and MacOS, any tips?

So I've had this mic for about 5 years. No issues during that span till one day it just wasn't turning on. So I just assume it finally died off. I ordered a used one that worked according to seller for like $60. I get and the original cord isn't working on the the new one I got, so I bought a new USB A - USB C. Also doesn't work. I've tried like 3 different ports on my PC it's not just turning on. I'm also having a issue that my pc isn't reading the USB plug in for the mic. Any real solutions to this or am I just out of luck?

I am writing this with a heavy heart, hoping against hope that someone might be able to guide me.

My HyperX Cloud II Wireless headset has suddenly stopped working because the USB receiver (dongle) completely died—it won't light up or connect anymore, and since this model doesn't support a wired 3.5mm audio connection, my headset is currently unusable.

This headset means the absolute world to me. It was a gift from my late uncle. He secretly bought it for me, and because he wanted to surprise me without any fuss, he didn't even use the original retail box—he cleverly hid the headset inside a fruit cardboard box and slipped it to me. Now that he has passed away, this headset is one of the most precious mementos I have left of him.

Because of how it was given to me, I don't have the original product box or purchase invoice anymore, making it difficult through standard warranty channels. I love this headset so much and want nothing more than to bring it back to life.

I am currently located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. If anyone knows where I can buy a replacement dongle locally, or if there are any reliable repair shops here that can fix a dead USB receiver, or if HyperX has any official support channels or service partners in Vietnam that could help me out, I would be endlessly grateful.

Could you please guide me on where I can officially purchase a replacement USB wireless receiver (dongle) for the HyperX Cloud II Wireless, or if there is any way HyperX can help a devoted fan out?

As the title says, it was working normally until yesterday, but today I noticed that the equalization in the standard connection (Cloud III driver) stopped responding to changes. However, when I switch to 8-channel mode, it works normally.

I've already reinstalled Ngenuity, disabled third-party audio drivers, and cleaned up residual files, but nothing works.

Creo que es de lo que más he leído en este lugar pero bueno, hace poco adquirí mis cloud 3 y la verdad es que siento el sonido muy barato y no sé realmente cómo tratar de "equilibrar" los tonos. He estado probando con distintas configuraciones de EQ pero no me resulta tan cómodo. Hace poco copié una que publicaron aquí mismo y suena mejor pero los bajos están muy ahogados, es eso o los tonos altos suenan molestos o muy metálicos, de verdad es incómodo. Es triste porque realmente pensé que daba un salto al tener estos audífonos y no quiero arrepentirme. Me pueden ayudar con alguna configuración por favor o consejos, muchas gracias.

Edit: Quiero aclarar que no busco algo solo para oír pasos. Necesito algo que me ayude a equilibrar explosiones, efectos del juego, disparos y pasos (The Finals).

I’m not an audiophile but I feel that the sound quality is subpar, it’s good but didn’t feel the wow effect. Am I doing something wrong ? I changed the EQ in ngenuity but I don’t know if the headset use it, as there is no “use” button

I've owned 2 pairs of Cloud Flights since 2018, absolutely loved them. Very comfortable to wear with glasses, sounded great for the price, great battery life. Both headsets eventually developed an issue where the volume wheel would only turn the volume down, and I'm looking to get something newer this time as the Flights are nearly a decade old at this point. I'd like to stick with HyperX given the positive experience I've had with the Cloud Flights. I'm looking for something wireless that's comfortable to wear with glasses and has a long battery life.

I'm between the Cloud III S and the Cloud Flight 2 at the moment. They both look like solid options for my budget but I'm not sure how they compare to one another. I'm also curious about the Cloud Alpha 2's and if they're tangibly better than the cheaper options (outside of having the audio control hub which I don't care about).

If anyone has some input on these 3 headsets or any other recommendations please let me know!

I recently bought the hyperX quadcast 2s. I see that there is a software that goes along with the mic, is it worth downloading and using this or should I use an alternative? My goal is to turn off the rgb on the mic and set an equaliser for recording. What do you recommend? Thanks!

I'm using a HyperX Cloud III headset (wired) and for some reason I sound very muffled to others. When I to test it on the voice settings my voice is the loudest it can get. Does anyone know what could it possibly be? Additionally I have also changed all the settings in the mmsys and it's still muffled. I got this headset also about a year ago

Things I've done to possibly fix it:
- Reset Discord Voice & Audio Settings
- Tweak the mmsys (mic vol to 100, changing quality)
- Changing where I plugged it in (USB/USB C ports)

I have Hyperx Cloud 3 S headphones which I am very happy with. I'm using HyperX NGENUITY version 3.1.0 and when I set it to start automatically, I get this error when shutting down the computer: The application could not be started properly (0x0000142).

Coming from the Hyper X Cloud 2 the sound is a little bit worse and everytime I pause a video or sound stops I hear a low beeping sound. I heard bad things about the NGENUITY app, but is it sensible to download it and update the drivers of the headphone ? Will it fix this problem ?

dumb question but is the image i added the one im supposed to use? it kinda sounds weird (i used to use the cloud 3)

According to the instructions, I need to press FN+up or down arrow

This doesn't change any brightness though!

Also, how can I change the color or light pattern? On my other HyperX, changing these things work much more easily right through the keyboard commands.

What do you recommend doing after setting it up? Are there any specific Windows settings, software, EQ settings, noise suppression filters, or other adjustments I should use to make my voice sound clearer and more professional?

I’d also appreciate any tips on microphone placement, distance from my mouth, and gain levels.

I’m mainly looking for a natural, clean voice without too much background noise.

Hi, I recently brought a second hand cloud 3 wireless that isn't covered via warranty. But iv been trouble shooting it.

Here's the problem: no matter what I troubleshoot I can't get the mic to work on ps5 or the pc it doesn't pickup any audio from the boom stick / even plugging the boom stick attachment in and out males no audible clicking or static

I made sure it wasn't internally muted via the ngenuity app , and full volume but the issue still persists.

Tldr: iv spent 4 weeks and 150$ tryna get this headset up and running and the only thing I can't get working is the mic recognition.

I just picked these up last week and I've had some strange issues with them. Every now and then I'll get digital artifacts, like the signal was breaking up for a split second or so. This happens on my main built PC, where I have the 3.0.2 ngenuity software installed and I updated the firmware on the dongle and headset. After the firmware update it MOSTLY went away but it still pops up from time to time and is annoying.

I have see a few people online say to uninstall the software and drivers to fix things. Rather than do that, I plugged it into my laptop that has no HyperX software or drivers of any kind on it. The artifacting is worse. It happens a lot more often on the laptop than it did on the built PC.

I don't play games on the laptop but I was getting it while listening to spotify, youtube, working with video in Premiere.

My question is: why is this happening and is there any easy solution? If not, they are going back to the store in a couple of days before the return period is over.

They are comfortable and sound very clear. They feel very well built and I really want to like them, but I had a pair of Steelseries Arctis Nova 7Xs that just simply worked with no strange software glitches or 7 audio devices added, or strange requirements for needing to hook both the dongle and headset up wired at the same time to update firmware... Unfortunately, the ear cups weren't big enough on those so they were uncomfortable.
