Add in cap breakers to that and dear lord... Obviously it doesn't mean that's the final version we're getting on Friday, but if it is and this is the level they're at...

I love 2k but man. The grind is real. Im paying expensive money just to build one character, thats not even fully maxed out even. On top of that, if I dont have cap breakers, battle pass, grind the build spec, buying boosts and all the other things, i feel like i cant compete. I know i can but as a working man that has a life too but wanna enjoy my time on the game, it really sucks. Like I wanna play the game on my day off, why do i gotta sit and grind for Lifetime challenges. Im here to play basketball. Not me running around the city.

Please. stop playing, stop buying, do something anything. This company is beyond greed, they do not care for making the game better in the slightest, they havent for years. The MyNBA mode is broken, the "MyCareer Eras" is complete bs, nothings done about cheating, and builds are getting more expensive. People waste more and more money every year for a game thats getting worse and worse. I know most people here only play cause they love the sport itself and not the actual game, but its genuinely ridiculous how much theyre getting away with.

They 100% percent gonna ruin the game and individuality, but I just thought about that dude that makes dirk every year and uses all of his animations and shit. I bet he’s so hype 😂😂😂 good for him

I’m about to smash my phone bra why is a 6’9 center able to do an ugly left right dribble move and hit a contested three in my face

Genuinely the worst 2k I have ever played. Was actually enjoyable before the patch and before they listened to all the whiny streamers. And now they overcompensated for the tiny things that needed to be fixed and have ruined the game. Then the bright idea of these legend builds? Yeah it’s cooked. Yall can argue on this post if you want but just had to rant. Thank you for coming to my ted talk 🫡

97 interior defense , 98 blocks AND most importantly 88 FUCKING SPEED and 90 vertical for hof pogoSHIT (you can pump fake all you want, you are not winning against someone that spam jump here with all those inside stats)
Inside scorer already had standing dunk stripped and murdered since the release of 2k27 , now in s2 DONT even think about scoring inside with dwight howard build running around the town
GG 2k , thanks for killing an entire branch of game.
High interior used to come with some setback like very slow speed etc... but no we have fucking dwight with 88 speed

People can shoot over a.i like in 26 again and it makes rec unplayable they either buff them so much like in the beginning of 27 or make something completely useless again. Whoever is in charge of these decisions and testing needs to be fired. Clearly, they don't play their own game. We need another a.i change or reverted

They knew they were gonna do GOAT builds before the game came out and did this purposefully. Now that most people have 2 builds or more.
I guarantee next season will be KD and/or Wemby because this season will end when GTA 6 is coming out.

I currently have a Rodman build and I was wondering if there were any multi-colored hair options in the game and maybe I’ve just missed them? I swear I’ve seen them in previous 2Ks but I don’t this time around.

Dudes gonna drop $100 on a klay build miss two shots and still quit lol
It’s both sad and absolutely hilarious what is happening with this game.
The constant gameplay changes and patches, now even adding GOAT builds in Season 2. Why not when the game was released?
Even if we don’t have that many details about them right now, I don’t think we all realise how much the overall gameplay will change, and this is a huge pivotal moment (no pun intended). It really isn’t fair and it’s beyond scummy to do us like this not even 2 months into the release.
And the saddest part is that the community will just eat it up as always.

I get that it’s basically a super build, but how many of these users are actually gonna make these builds when they can’t get all the cheesy animations?
You got the Kawhi build? Awesome, you can do everything but you can’t do your cheese… what’s the point.
After the patch, as long as these guys got that high 3pt rating I don’t think most people are gonna switch.

With all the goat builds coming I feel this is another big turning point, where 2k takes a true turn for the worse. There will be a power creep.
When we first got early access, we noticed the top rep reward in myteam is a 7'9 fictional character. A literal goat, thats a first. This will play out exactly like 2k20. There were 10 goat cards in the first year they were released, now we have 200 goat cards in 2k26. There will be more fictional characters coming. there is literally no player in history that will move the needle for the whales anymore. There are only so many times they can drop the same overpowered giants for 6+ years, so they have to come up with bullshit like this.
I think the same model will be applied to myplayer. Throughout the year, the goat builds will get more OP to the point where there will be 99 everything myplayers with juiced sigs available by June. What if 2k isnt banning anybody because they are secretly preparing us for the future of the game?
Just some thoughts

Basically the title. Any attempt at a standstill floater within 15 feet is a jumpshot this year. Does anybofy know how to shoot floaters in this range instead? It has severely weakened float game for bigs.
