Why is the shooting foul slider at 30 across all difficulties

I've never played a 2k this unrealistic with shooting fouls

Im drawing contact attack the rim and it's just never a foul

The strip animation that was always a 50/50 foul has now become a 70/30 at best

Whoever thinks this is better is wrong

I played a little last year at the end of the year and tried online for the first time and it was dope ! But the problem is I don’t really have many friends that play 2k on console so I’m not really sure how to get cap breakers or find ppl that would let me join their crew bc a lot of the time people talk shit online bc I’m kinda new so I’m not THAT great lol so I guess my question is does anyone have any tips or things they could tell me that would help? Like certain jump shots or certain builds that would be good ? I just wanna play online and have fun and I do alot of theater 1v1 or 3v3 no squads but its just a bit hard when im not sure how to probably make a build lol

I checked out the build page that 2k suggested but idk where to even start so I was hopping someone could just give me a quick rundown on how I should play online

I currently have a Rodman build and I was wondering if there were any multi-colored hair options in the game and maybe I’ve just missed them? I swear I’ve seen them in previous 2Ks but I don’t this time around.

I find it funny that this year they added a “build as you go” model to the w right as they co-ed parks and took the matchmaking off that mode. I tried it and it’s balanced pretty fair, you can pick whatever starting attributes you want but you have to earn badges and your attribute caps.

These goat builds are cool, but i feel like we need to continue having serious conversations about how mycareer works and all the money they’re asking for off these shits. I REALLY hope they start us at a 70 ovr on these builds or something because even if you can afford to drop multiple bands on this game even it still feels like the goat builds are 500k vc to justify them adding that 150 dollar vc pack. I’ve been broke and from that experience i’ll say i care more about the quality of the product i’m getting no matter how much tbh.

I'm a casual player. I'm not great at this game but I still like to play it and try to get better.

Is posting up ever effective in this game? Is it ever enough to just post up and go into a shot/hook or I always need to make some sort of move to create space?

I notice most of the time, when centers score, it's because they just somehow get open in the paint, it's rarely an intentional post up that leads to a basket. I've tried a few times and it seems to always miss unless the defender falls for a pump fake.

I guess it's my fault that the PG went 6/20 with 4 assist and graded out.

It's my fault that the man I was holding cherry picked the entire game and body dribbled through the entire team into the paint.

My fault the center went 4/11 because he kept trying to do contest layups and dunks on everyone.

Could I have done better? Yeah obviously. But to say that I'm the reason we lost is just crazy work.

Is it quicker matchmaking if you make another position? Is it easier to get in pro-am teams with other positions as there is less competition?

Also, 2k does need to increase the XP. Especially if we are getting 5 new levels every season.

Just when I thought the story was going to be interesting, and that we'd be able to play how we want, they force us to feed Axel the ball - who can't hit a shot and is openly disrespecting us in every cutscene? How do they manage to ruin every story every year? 2K, if we win the damn game, how in your brain dead thought process can you call that a loss? If we can't play how we want in MyCareer, just get rid of the story altogether fr.

every couple games there’s a guy on my team who thru 20 minutes of rec gameplay , never attempted a shot will have 0 pts and a complete drag to the team n can’t say they weren’t getting the ball , bc the team will always force them the ball ,maybe out of pity but they’ll instantly pass every time . why get in a rec game to not ever attempt a shot? n i’m the pg so i see this shit constantly

Basically the title. Any attempt at a standstill floater within 15 feet is a jumpshot this year. Does anybofy know how to shoot floaters in this range instead? It has severely weakened float game for bigs.

2K My Career will forever be trash until they learn how not to make your teammates AI complete and utter morons during your story mode games I stop buying 2K in 2012 and only reason I got this is to have updated rosters for the next 10 years 2K is trash

The daily spin is the worst. Only time I get good rewards from the spins are nights like today. Get home late from work, then on the Xbox and 2k for a quick sec before I go to bed and I get shit like 4 hours 2x rep at 11pm… like oh great glad this goes to waste now. But on days where I’m actually locking in for a 3 hour run, I get 1k vc.. thanks Ronald..
