Hi, I‘m on a YouTube premium family plan and at the start of it the out of app player was working so well with the video playing in the corner of the screen as well as audio, but for some reason, the last while it’s only been audio playing.

Theres just no video once I go off the app. Does anyone know why this is or how to fix it?

so i’ve just woken up & was scrolling shorts before i had accidentally saved something & as i go to unsave it, i noticed abunch of obvious scam playlists were added to my account (?) has my account been hacked because when i had changed my password & checked my logged in devices none of the devices showed any that weren’t me

Made this extension to revert back to the old YT watch UI. Entirely made using Claude. I made it for myself but since it looks like others hate this change of ui, I made a GitHub repo and uploaded the file. Instructions on how to make this extension work is on read me.

YouTube Premium seems to be the most successful subscription service for social media platforms (if youTube is even a social media). I was wondering about people's experience with it. What is good, what is bad?

Seriously, whenever i move from full screen landscape to normal view, it consistently show video like this, offset from the actual box, controls are still at designated place but the video itself drifts.

I recently got accepted into the YouTube partner program and created a membership with some fun custom emojis, I even had a person sign up, the problem is once they signed up and started using the emojis I noticed that the emojis are so low resolution. They're basically useless. Is this normal or only on desktop? And should I redesign them?

I have come across an unusual situation that all of the help articles and searches I have made assume it's one thing, but I don't think it is.

My channel is 5 years old. My browser is Chrome.

I uploaded my video in HD Quality 2 Days Ago. Within about two hours the file had uploaded and processed completely (I've provided a picture above as proof). Now, two days later, for some reason it still only auto plays in 360p. You have to manually set the picture quality to 1080p HD via settings in order to get the video to play appropriately, which you CAN do. It is an available option for the current video in settings. Is there anything I can do to ensure the video plays in 1080p HD for everyone instead of 360p. I figured that I would wait a while and it would eventually resolve the problem. Sadly no dice.

Neither of my other full length videos, nor my one short have this issue. They were all uploaded recently (within the last month). They play in HD effortlessly with no issue.

In Safari and on my phone it auto plays in 720p. It seems to only be chrome that has this issue.

I have no idea why in chrome it has this issue and wonder if it is happening for anyone else who views the video other than me.

Is this a known issue? Will it resolve on it's own? Should I reupload the video and sacrifice the little views that I have?

I tested the ask feature on my video and it vomited out the most stupidest, most brain dead reply I have ever saw. My video has NO LYRICS. All of my music videos have the ai say the same thing! "Oh btw this video has the word heat in it 🤓☝️" Like no it doesn't have the word heat in it 🥀

When I saw that YouTube’s official channel uploaded a new playlist called “In a league of their own” that highlights the esports community, I knew that a Yoodle was imminent.

Oh and for some reason, at 11:00 PM (my time), the Yoodle was already out early on the mobile and desktop browser YT sites and hadn’t even been out yet on the app. As of the time of posting, the Yoodle is now out on the app.

So for the past month or two now youtube no matter how many times I refresh, search for specific topics, or just blatantly just hit not interested in this shows me the same 11 videos non stop most of it is stuff I dont even watch??? Im stairing at the page now I dont watch cash, the burnt peanut anything to do with Conan exiles but its all I see and im getting frustrated. Just 2 months ago i could come home from work sit down and have a bunch of things that I actually wanted to watch and now I feel like im being force fed garbage by youtube and nothing I do seems to change that... am I just unlucky or is anyone else have this problem or maybe a fix for it?

Shorts take up the whole screen on homepage, next is a full screen ad. Only one video sandwiched between the ad and a community post for a channel I’m not subscribed to.
