Hello all,
Postgrad student from Toronto here, my co-founder and I built an app called Crowdy. It tells you what's actually happening tonight: real crowd levels, happy hours, live events, drink prices, and more, all to answer one simple question, "What's the move?"
We're running a one-night Toronto field test this Halloween (Saturday, October 31). We need 8 to 10 people already heading out in King West that night.
We are focusing this field test on King West specifically, so this is for people who are already planning to be in the area anyway. When you're at a venue, open the app and report how busy it is, how long the line was, what drink prices are, and what the cover was, from at least two venues you're at anyway. About 20 seconds each, so roughly a minute of actual work across the night.
$20, e-transferred Sunday, November 1, after a short survey about how the app worked.
- Nobody will be asked to drink, to stay out longer, or to spend money.
- Pay is for observations only and has nothing to do with time on premises or purchases.
- Nobody will be asked to post reviews, promote the app, or say anything publicly.
- Must be 19+ and share a photo of valid I.D
