Question After Power/House of X, how should I continue?
Should I read all the upcoming comics at once or alternate between them?

For me the 80’s stuff was without a doubt her best character work. She was so interesting.
Her time in Japan with Yukio, where she learned to let loose and live fully. No holding back. New Mohawk hairstyle and punk outfits. Yessss!
The tragic LifeDeath story afterwards where she lost her powers after being accidentally shot by Forge. She became despondent and questioned her identity as someone no longer with powers.
Then when she beat Cyclops and was declared leader of the X-Men. Cyclops was sent packing and back to Madelyn. It was such a pivotal moment for Storm, a black woman in the 80’s. Claremont really loved her.
I won’t lie, I hate her current stuff. It feels to me like they are trying so hard to make her a “badass” that she now feels empty. I hope I can one day see the complex woman she once was in future books.

I wish there was a storyline where he is forced to really step up (other than Operation Zero, which is great).
Of all the original X-Men, he feels the most stagnant to me. He’s a goofy and fun guy who makes jokes a lot. Great. But what else? Where are his great moments? His great stories?
He desperately needs a prominent role with a compelling story.

I’d love to see Polaris introduced in the MCU, especially alongside Jean Grey and Storm. Although I know we probably won’t get her anytime soon, here are my top four choices for Lorna Dane.
Lorna generally seems to be portrayed as slightly younger than Jean in the comics but I wanted to cover a range of ages (20–28) with actresses that could possibly play younger or older depending on how the MCU approaches her character and relationships.
I’ve also included a little bonus fancast for Magneto. Lee Pace has been my top choice for Erik for a while now, and I’d love to see him portray Lorna’s father alongside any of these actresses.

Dazzler: nothing to really say about her she’s neat and superhero pop stars are pretty cool albeit rare.
Forge: his relationship with Storm was weird and creepy and I’m glad that 97 called him out on it.
Gambit: one of the coolest X-Men out there with one of the coolest powers. His trench coat also sells the design and without it he’d look really silly.
Jubilee: she was very much the “how do you do fellow kids” character of the 90’s and now that they’re over marvel has no idea what to do with her. Curse of the mutants and more recently Infernal Hulk really show this.
Bishop: awesome power and 97 showed he’d be a perfect fit for Polaris but he’s still another character from the future that X-Men writers keep adding and it detracts from their uniqueness as a whole especially compared to someone like Cable.

If Betsy/Psylocke never had the bodyswap and remained who she was right before it, how do you think that would've impacted her in the long run?
Would she have become the breakout she became in Kwannons body? Would have X:TAS still have used her? Would she have been big enough to get adapted to the big screen for a film?

Not overly familiar with the character, but from what I’ve read of her, she is so damn chaotic lol.

There’s so much debate over whether the MCU’s Psylocke should be Betsy or Kwannon, and neither option feels entirely satisfying; I believe creating an amalgam would be the ideal solution, allowing fans to see aspects of both characters combined. It would be quite simple for them to adapt the story by introducing a second mutation for Betsy one involving her soul much like how Jean Grey gained that new power during the Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
