Event Town Loops
A friend of mine shared this with me and it’s been pretty nice having a way to find out what’s going on in town every week especially because I don’t use facebook. Also sounds like it’s a locally made website:

Was hoping to make the drive in late october (24-25) to summit Mt. Freel with some friends. Just noticed there may be a storm a few days prior. Would it be a bad idea to attempt a summit that weekend? Some of us haven’t hiked with microspikes before.
We’ll bring a high clearance 4WD for the dirt road (assuming gate’s still open at that time)
Edit: Goes without saying we’re prepared to turn around; just looking for advice/insights from others who may have summited in similar early season snow conditions. Thanks!

Ok this is a long shot but I figure it's better than a Craigslist missed connection. Two weeks ago (Wednesday) I was in Grocery Outlet in South Lake and chatted with a cute tall guy about gluten free/ vegetarian food options, but I had to leave before we could talk more. He had brown hair, was really dirty and was wearing a green shirt from a tiling or paving company I think. We didn't talk that much but I've been romanticizing the moment in retrospect and hoping to run into him again at GrocOut. If it was you will you DM me? Tell me what aisle of the store we were standing in :)

I'm traveling to Tahoe this coming Feb with a group of friends, and there are 2 toddlers on our trip. We are staying in condos right in the ski-village.
