I just can’t stand the arc around her. It feels awful. I *really* hope she got to tell her story to Dev and Jelly off camera or something, because it’s just too tragic to me Devin’s completely unnecessary vitriol for her.

I’m divorced from an abusive ex husband that I thank the universe every day didn’t kill me. Rebuilding your sense of selfhood as an adult is so hard. Her clamming up in ep 1 was really relatable.

I heavily identified with Jenna and hope Devin feels terrible about his maligning her.

Regardless of what happens I want them to team up again because their joint blindside was epic. Their combined strategic chops was a big move and they both just seem like underdogs worth rooting for.

Yes, the split to three tribes was bad, gave us a boring 40 minutes of TV, yadda yadda yadda.

Edit: lol all of you asking if this is satire clearly missed the part where I said it was hilarious? Like, it was obviously a bright spot in a dull episode. I said it was super mean because Alexis so clearly didn't plan on working with Jenna regardless so it felt like she was literally just trying to bum another pair of shoes and then get rid of her, let alone her mean girl "the other two straight up don't like you" gameplay strat. NOT saying it's a bad strategy. Mean and bad are not the same.

Anyways, hopefully next episode we remerge to two tribes for some silly reason.

When are we getting a Glen tribe?

Devin. No hate towards him irl, dont know him, but certainly in the show and with the story so far, I feel like we've got a decent villain. A self righteous seeming bully with a lot of power. Unfortunately, the show probably won't acknowledge that and I think Devins positivity is enough for Jeff to like him. Id be interested to be proven wrong and see where this goes from here, just my thoughts so far.

Rhode Island Rob looked ready & capable. He really, really fell apart in just a few days, to the degree he looked like a different person to me.

I have to wonder if he was in withdrawl from cigarettes or something to make him lose it so fast.

I have alwayssss been confused as to why almost nobody researches local forageable plants before going on survivor like that seems like such a no brainer to me?? When Kristin said she did that she instantly became my favorite this season. A power lesbian with a brain like thank god.

Did Carter ever discover/realize that the tribe he was visiting rifled through his bag and stole the idol?

Were there any negative outcomes for them idiotically destroying the boat paddles?

When Brady told Thien An: "Kilby said playing with you is like playing with my 5 year old cousin with their Nintendo Switch controller not plugged in". Dude, of all the controllers, Nintendo Switch ones are the least likely to be plugged in lol.

Pretty boring episode. Although I will say I actually found the challenge slightly interesting even if it did follow the same format of “run this. Toss this. Puzzle this” but it felt like a slight twist and I don’t recall them doing this one before? (Correct me if wrong)

However what I will say….

Why the hell did Jeff let it end like that?

If all you had to do is get the ball out of the maze then why the bucket underneath? Any other time that they simply have to “free” something there is no bucket underneath it to catch it, it just drops.

If you didn’t NEED to get it in the bucket then the bucket wasn’t needed.

Idk maybe a nitpick, but I feel like any other challenge if that ball had missed the bucket like that it would be considered a fail and they’d have to start from square one. I know that challenge doesn’t look super easy to reset the balls on so maybe that is why but idk that felt like an oversight/questionable thing.

Get out of the goddamned way and let people play the game.

This streak will almost certainly end next episode, as the largest tribe has 6 players, and the only players with votes are Aric with 4, Kilby with 5 and Alexis with 1 (her tribe has 4 players on it), but we'll see how the next episode plays out.
