Ranked nami mains! one trick?

How do you guys feel about one-tricking Nami (solo q ranked)? I love nami but I feel like in low elo she is very difficult to "carry" games on, if your adc has no idea what they are doing, compared to someone like seraphine. BUT I feel like Nami is just also such a well designed champ! I have a high winrate on her if I am able to communicate with my adc but for solo q its so difficult. Im not sure :-(

Discussion permaroam sup response

• Upvotes

what is the counterplay if enemy support picks something like elise camille bard pyke pantheon poppy and starts perma roaming from min 1. I play jungle and this happens a lot where enemy support picks these champs and completely fuck over top and jg while bot is losing 1v2 or unable to get any sort of clear advantage comparable to what enemy sup is doing. Is the support supposed to match or just sit bot and try to zone enemy ad from xp. Had a game vs an elise support who did not come once to botlane in the first 10 minutes. Jungle and top suffered so much damage from elise. Meanwhile bot is getting double killed by enemy adc?

Discussion Leaving your adc

I want to first clarify I am not the type of player to abandon adc because he is "bad" and perma roam. In fact my champion Vel'koz prefers to spend more time on bot next to adc and get levels together.

I've been getting a lot better on making game plans before the game even starts including things like how the first waves should play out, what my adc champion identity and game plan is, how to trade with my adc and against theirs and when to roam. But I am a bit indecisive on whether I should leave adc at some point and play the map.

In some lanes it makes a lot of sense to just roam if for example you play with a miss fortune against a millio or a lulu who can't match roams as good. If my adc miss fortune farms safely until level 6 she can be left alone safely. But my problem with that is I end up low level. My champion is first very vulnerable and secondly scales more from levels and not as much from ap. If we don't take fights and win skirmishes I feel like I can't do anything being levels down from enemy solo laners or jungle.

Help Any help with climbing out of low elo?

I'm a Rakan OTP & I have been stuck in silver for a long while mainly due to my skill, I'm not ashamed of it or anything because it's my skill level but i've been wanting to improve so I can play with my friend who mains ADC more without throwing so i'll appreciate any tips.

The thing I struggle with the most is mainly engaging, especially early on in laning phase. I'm not good at engaging early or properly positioning in a way to where my ADC can get good value. I try to sit upfront or in a bush so that my adc can farm fine & then they have to be wary of my W but most of the time it just doesn't work because I just get poked out. I might seem dumb but I genuinely have no idea what to do there, I usually back up and mess up the entire lane state because of it.

Also, what should I do against ADCs who can just poke out my ADC? Like a caitlyn? I'm not too sure what to do there especially against Caitlyn since she can E my W & her traps always mess up my positoning for engages. My laning phase is actual just diabloical on Rakan, like wayy worse than it should be as a OTP.

I just actually suck at engaging and i'd really appreciate any help that I can get. I really wanna try and get better but my lack of game sense is kinda beating me up, like I never know which comps I can be aggressive into for early game or like when I should be engaging. Usually it is when the enemy used their abilities or are out of position but they're always out of my W range when they use their abilities & if they're out of position, it's always just a lost trade anyway.

This is all probably a skill issue ngl but i'd appreciate any advice / tips I could use that could help me get better.
