Earlier this year I surprised myself with a big PB, benching 37.5s for 6. That was right at the end of my lean-ish bulk, weighing 63kg.
Today the vibes felt right and after laughing at my 32.5kg primer, I zoned in for a full minute before adding a rep to my all time PB while being 5kg lighter. Hitting 37.5 for 7 at 58kg bw.
This is a really special one for me, after battling through a lot of setbacks including tendinosis (left shoulder crew where we at) i felt something I call 'the death of self-doubt'
One of the very first times I set foot in a gym, I saw a big guy benching the 40s and thought 'imagine if I could ever do that,' and I truly think I'm getting close.
NB: I intentionally don't go past parallel due to my tendinosis, don't flame me pls
