Description: Come join us for our SI forest pack walk!! Every borough has these, so let’s start them up here on the greenbelt!!!
All dogs welcome, let us know prior if your dog needs space. Bring your own supplies: water, bags, treats, etc.
This is a medium-paced walk. About 2.5 miles in total will be around 45 mins to an hour at most. If you feel that your dog is tired, you can most certainly turn back earlier. It’s an easy walk back.. A great way to socialize your dog in a structured environment.

There are actually quite a few free events happening in Staten Island this weekend, including Movies Under the Stars, Faber Park Fright Fest, and OHNY (Open House New York)!

Note: I only focused on the OHNY drop-in locations. Thought I’d share in case anyone’s looking for free things to do this weekend! Again, it's just a side project and not perfect so always double check stuff before you go!

Anyone notice a dramatic increase in speed bumps on the island recently? I came across a raised crosswalk, which I have never seen before. Guess we’re all going to be riding each other at 15mph while we go over 3 speed bumps on one block.

Their branding is concerning, using police emergency lights and a modified police badge decal. Are they volunteer police or something? Seems awfully alot of liberties to give a neighborhood watch compared to the red berets I keep hearing about. Is it legal with "emergency" written on it and red and blue lights? I just learned about jewish volunteer ambulances but I've never heard of those either until today and this doesn't look like an ambulance.

Crazy people on this island. Can’t imagine why someone would take the time out of their finite existence to be so heinous.

I got 4 tickets in 1 day by a NYS Trooper worth 12 points. Im trying to reschedule on the DMV but wont let me. This is my first reschedule. Should I get a lawyer or should I just drag it out past the 18 month?

PS Tickets were for not signaling, illegal lane change and tailgating.

This is Cooper, he's a street cat that's been coming around for ten years. He's a large orange tabby with green eyes and one tooth. He's friendly but cautious, but sometimes he'll go up to new people. He hangs around IBSEN AVENUE near Woehrle Ave.

I did a search on the topic here and saw a few generic suggestions. I’d love to hear from someone who, fairly recently, completed a house addition and who their build team was. We have a 1000 sq foot ranch on an unfinished basement with crawl space (1949s build, needs electrical upgrade) and looking to either bump out or add a level. (Should rather add a level to preserve yard space) we are in the very early planning stages and need a walk/through consultation with a build team.

Hello! I’m looking for a personal trainer that works out of Staten Island.

The client suffers from arthritis but has made a lot of progress with physical therapy and senior fitness classes. The main goal is weight loss, so she is seeking a trainer with experience in weight reduction whilst avoiding high impact activities.

The client has a membership at YMCA but is amenable to other locations on the island.
