Discussion Finally finished *that* level from the DLC. felt like this the entire time
I genuinely loved it but also as someone who's a scaredy-cat can barely play horror games this was very much a lot.

Not all the photos are ready yet. Unfortunately, my photographer couldn’t make it, and I had to take the photos myself. But I hope we’ll still have time to meet with him in the last warm days of October.

Many of you know Ive been rewriting the OGSR engine (S.T.A.L.K.E.R.) on Vulkan for quite a while now. But I couldnt sit out the recent wave of ports: my renderer was already practically done, so I decided to jump on this train. What sets my port apart from the classic trilogy ports: Near-perfect 60 FPS. A bigger world than the original, with no performance cost. A new engine that makes it possible to release and optimize a huge number of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mods for any device. This is just the beginning. And if your project needs a hand with porting, rendering or optimization, feel free to reach out, Id be happy to help!

This is in my top 3 favorite games ever now. I feel empty, but I will play again eventually. If you come to this sub looking for validation for buying the game then get the game, really good time, many many hours of stuff to do. It has been a pleasure to be a loner.
Edit: not gonna lie i actually feel sad that I finished the game, I look at everything else and it just doesn't come close to stalker. Doing the metro trilogy next just waiting for next gen update the 22nd

Basically, what’s been happening to me is that every AI-shared POI I visit is full of dead bodies when I arrive. This can easily break the game's economy, as players could simply farm one POI after another for a while until they have enough money to buy pretty much anything in the game. This wasn't happening before.
EDIT: No A-life mods. I tested that 150 meters bubble mod but unninstaled moments after.

What sets my port apart from the classic trilogy ports:
- Up to 120 FPS on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
- A bigger world than the original, at no performance cost.

I saw Strelok at the Bar yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my tourist's delight, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came back to grab a vodka I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen sausages in his hands without paying.
The barkeep at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Stalker, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear him, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When barkeep took one of the sausages and started scanning it multiple times, Strelok stopped him and told him to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After he scanned each sausage and put them in a bag and started to say the price, Strelok kept interrupting him by yawning really loudly.

I'm on over 120 hours on my current playthrough and still absolutely loving it. The Iron forest is a little underutilised imo, but the CNPP makes up for it.

I’m near the end of the game and just doing some more exploring before I finish up. Went and cleared out the Duga area then headed back to malachite to sell stuff and fast travel. Both doors are locked. I’m still in good standing with the faction as indicated by the green icons on the map. I’ve fast traveled there multiple times with no issues. Any advice?

Hey guys just wanted to make sure my load out was ok for 18 hours in I still haven’t been to the chemical plant yet or the left side of the map I’m a first time stalker and this game is amazing for the ps5 I have to admit. Just let me know if I could be doing anything better and also my load out is that ok to carry all these guns?

Hey guys I’m at the iron forest checkpoint and cannot leave for some reason I keep seeing this yellow key icon. I think I may have sold the key I know I can leave through a traveler but is there anyway I can get another key I’m trying to get to the chemical plant. Appreciate you guys btw you all have been nothing but awesome since I joined this group and I appreciate the warm welcome.

5 days in the (Veteran) zone, here are the stats. This was my first entry into the series and seriously, what a game, words can’t describe how beautiful this world and story is, thinking of going back to the originals after I’m done with S2, unless I should now?
I’m excited to see what paths the other choices take me down. For now though, Strelok is my guy! Once he told me what his intentions were and was quite transparent, I too wanted the zone to just be the zone, to just exist, it’s neither good or evil, it’s just the zone, let it be
EDIT: Screenshot was taken at the door before point of no return
For me, it's:
S.T.A.L.K.E.R is a game where the aim is to collect one of every weapon in perfect condition and upgraded to your liking

I.e. If I equip say liquid rock artifact (5/5 durability buff), is it useless to also equip tourist’s breakfast artifact (3/5 durability)?
Or would they keep stacking the same way they do if you combined multiple artifacts with carry weight buffs in the same manner?
Thanks in advance

I found Saiga in Zaton during the main questline. Where is the nearest technician that can upgrade it?
