So my character is a mix of dunmer + orsimer & breton so the nose & eyes are orsimer, I used RSV to give her an orsimer body with dunmer skin, aesthetic elves & BnP skin for a more human look, for the color I wanted to do the same and I think I've succeeded. i yesterday started playing skyrim and there is one thing kinda annoying me which is the carry weight, and i do want to play the game vanilla but i do feel like i'd enjoy it more if i could just carelessly carry everything i see on me, but i first want to ask if it wouldn't be too op, or make the game too easy, so..should i add one?

So, everyone knows the blades ask you to kill Paarthurnax, 99% of people like me refuse to be I can’t be doing my boy partysnax dirty like that. But what I want to know is why didn’t the blades care or mention about killing odhaviing.

- they know he exists, esbern is the one who even gives you his name
- he is alduins right hand, surely that bumps him up the radar of dragons to take out
- only two things he does for the DB cannonically is tell you where Alduin js and flies you there

By comparison, paarthurnax teaches us a lot more, tells us what happened when alduin was banished, teaches us a fire breath word, helps us in finding an elder scroll, gives knowledge and teachings to the greybeards, and spent thousands of years in meditation to repent his previous actions. Not to mention he was the first dragon to teach the Thu’um to humans, without him alduin would’ve succeeded the first time round.

Are the blades just salty because they don’t like the greybeards or are they just totally thick

I started a vanilla playthrough (gonna be tough to not mod it this time) and I thought I'd go for a pure Nord, using light armour and a giant two handed axe, joining the Stormcloaks of course. I'd like some ideas for this character though, not a whole backstory or anything, but some potential goals and motivations.

He's a big, bearded Nord, with a big scar and is blind in one eye (so I called him Hroldar Allseer). I was thinking a basic backstory could be that he was always a supporter of Ulfric but never outright joined the war, but his capture and near execution by the Imperials pushed him to join the Stormcloaks. Though I would have to think of a backstory for the scar and missing eye. Any ideas? Thanks :)

Do we literally have the horniest players of any game ever?

Stupid question here. We all know that a lot of content was cut or undeveloped because Bethesda wanted to release Skyrim on 11/11/11, but why has it never been worked on or released since then? I know that maybe back then they didn't do updates, but the gaming world has changed a lot since then. I think they missed a huge opportunity to finished the game they made, and release it for the anniversary edition.

I was doing a deep dive on TES lore, and as I was reading about the Thalmor, I came across their supposed goal to undue the fabric of space time/reality in order to shed their physical bodies and ascend back to essentially godhood.

I have read online that people are thinking TES 6 will be in Hammerfel.

But, with the only active “tower” being the Adamantine Tower in High Rock, wouldn’t that make more sense for a setting?

Arguably the largest subplot in Skyrim (the main questline and plot being about Alduin/Dragons) is the Civil War. It’s talked about in every major city you visit. It’s got Skyrim torn apart.

In the midst of all this, is the Thalmor and the White Gold Concordat treaty that basically started the civil war.

So, from a plot and lore perspective, wouldn’t it make the most sense to have the next game be about the Thalmor and their very existential threat to all of Nirn/Mundus if they succeed in severing the world from the very fabric of reality?

TLDR: Wouldn’t it make the most sense to pick up the story with the Thalmor in High Rock?

i played on pc so the default key is alt which is so inconvenient. i played on expert mod and its my first time ever playing skyrim. nothing more to say just disappointment.

Bethesda did dirty female and gay gamers with male marriage options in vanilla. Half of them look dirty, are balding, got bad painted faces and look homeless and in one occasion IS actually a homeless guy.

So, I'm on PS5 and Kallax has finally been added. Great.

...but for some reason occasionally anytime I looked at him, major crash.

And after troubleshooting, it only occurs after giving him something and entering a new load zone. After some more testing, I think I've narrowed it down.

Do not give him his own Instruction Manual!

This is for anyone else having this crash problem, cause there's been zero talk so far from what I've seen.

If you are on expert mode and you mirrack low enough he supposed to consume a dragon soul to heal to full health and is invincible during this time and only comes out of that after hes fully healed..however he has more health during expert to master mode which means he doesn't fully heal which stun locks him into what i call "F*** You im a invincible Ass mode which is annoying as heck to deal with and lowering difficulties cheapens the fight.

My solution is you have to kill all the other dragons first without damaging Mirrack start killing one during his dumb monologue make sure you attack Relonikiv first as he is the dragon flying around furthest away...or another solution is to damage Mirrack and then whole he in that stuck invincible mode attack another the 2 other dragon to heal him full...and damage him just enough on 3rd he heals full when killing Sahrotaar.

Sorry if this has already been asked. I see a lot of YT videos where someone has drastically improved their visuals with 100s or in at least one case 1000+ mods. I'd like to make my Skyrim SE look better, but can I do it with just a few (4 or 5) mods? I dont need photo realistic and cutting edge improvements. Just something a little bit prettier. Doing the “Bound Until Death” quest and I found him dead among the guests. No one seems to care but how did he even die? Never interacted with him.

I have the anniversary addition and while I do love those homes, I don’t like the fact that some spots have specified weapon plaques.

For context, my current playthrough is a vampire lord khajiit, the plan is to side with the vampires in the dawnguard questline. Because of this, I would be unable to get the dawnguard rune axe/warhammer/shield, which each have plaques in a lot of the creation club content homes. I’m weird about having empty armor/weapon plaques in my Skyrim homes, could be something to do with my neurodivergence, but that isn’t the point

I’m looking for a home that has plenty of armor and weapon stands, so I can display all of my cool items and daedric artifacts and whatnot. I would also like if it had spots to put the claws and bugs in jars, paragons, etc. but that isn’t a necessity.

I am aware that tundra homestead fits this description, however, I absolutely hate the fact that I have to go through a loading screen just to get to the armory, I really need the home to be a single loading screen and everything is just open from there.

I would also like/appreciate if the home gave a rich/thief vibe since I am playing as a stealth based Khajiit. Also would appreciate any ideas on how to make my Khajiit playthrough a bit more accurate, like what side of the civil war I’d be on and if I’d be a thalmor agent or something.

Edit: I’m playing on a Nintendo lite. It’s the only console i have and the only console I’ve ever had, the loading screens can take forever sometimes. This also means I do not have access to console commands to just add stuff to my inventory or change the games coding
