Lost a good person and just need any songs about missing someone to cry to.

I’m especially curious about bands like Slowdive, Ride, My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Sonic Youth, The Smiths, etc. What was the one show you’ll never forget?

Demo can also be found on SoundCloud "Without You/This Place Is Strange". Please feel free to leave feedback and ask questions about gear (also sorry about the shitty transition)

2€ for a great album cant be mad about that

I particularly like "Fleeting Blue As Sky Meets Cloud". The album was originally supposed to come out on Christmas 2024 and I can definitely say that it was worth the wait. Its atmosphere and Shoko Inoue's dreamy vocals make for a great listening experience and I'm curious to see what other people think of it!

Are people familiar with the Austrian band CULK? I've been really enjoying their new album Smogstar recently. I'm not quite how fully they would be considered shoegaze, but I think their music is of interest anyway.

Hey everyone! I made this song, recording it in less than ideal spaces while traveling around Latin America with my friend. It feels like my first "real worthy" song. I'm still learning how to do the whole production, mix, and mastering workflow. Hope you like it.

I want to know your opinion

Our precious boy Lamont left us suddenly last night, and we are deeply saddened. He used to nap in my office/music room, and I would sometimes play to him while he tried to sleep. Sometimes it would agitate him, other times I like to think the music deepened his sleep and soundtracked his dreams. Occasionally I’d film this but most of the time it was just a nice moment we kept between us. I wish I could play for him again.

Hi I decided to put my playlist in public if you are already happy in life I do not allow you to listen to it.

Featured prominently in many Shoegaze compilations, 14 Iced Bears started as an C-86 band and evolved into noisy-guitar.

Their earlier records were so rare in the 90’s, there were many CDRs/Tapes flying around.

Slumberland Records released this compilation in 2001.
It was 25 years ago, maybe you can a copy or two lying around your record stores. Good luck !

So so so good. One of SF59’s best and underrated songs.

For the last few years I’ve been re-listening to the same two albums durning the autumn time over and over again, and I wanna find something new, so feel free to share !

The two albums that I’m talking about are Unbecoming by Vyva Melinkolya and I have seen the end and it’s beautiful by Wulven if y’all care

Shoegaze and slowcore vibes. Maybe you like it? Maybe you don't? Only one way to find out! ;)

Just got my Beetle Moses: A Comics Menagerie, and he was wearing a Whirr shirt at the book signing - he's definitely one of us.

I'm a real amateur in this realm but I love the music and I want to try recreating it for my own art

I thought it would be kinda cool to add the effects on piano then a guitar since I only play the piano

I cranked distortion alot added a cathedral reverb leaning a little more on the dry sound and also a resonator delay because I like the sound of it idk if it's any good also I cut out the excess lows and highs on the eq

I'm not that well versed in production but please give me feedback on how to get a more authentic sound here

Obviously this is not mixed so don't come at me for that

Thank you

Anybody going to the show in atl tonight?

Good single from this Japanese artist/ model working with members of Burrrn

Anyone going to the gig at The Scala in London tomorrow? I am! Gonna be mashed on Mandy and have a time!😎👌👌😎😎
