I started playing guitar recently and MBV is like my fav band ever. Keep in mind though that I’m playing on an acoustic so any song that doesnt sound right without heavy pedal usage isn’t really something I’m interested in playing. Tuning is not too much of a worry unless it’s like crazy weird. Thank you in advance!

If you want to do top 5 instead, feel free to do so. I know sometimes it’s hard for us to pick out our favorite songs. It’s hard for myself as well.

someone knows wth they used to play the principal melody of when you sleep in the comeback tour on 2008? If you hear live versions of that year, it sounds absolutely angelical and in my opinion better than the guitar of the 2025 and 2026 live shows

Does anyone know the chords of this song? Or the tuning? Or both??????

tried my best at the tone but it is so difficult… let me know how i did

Good find at the market in Balham (London) this morning!

No i did not wanna post this. My friend made me

Curious if anyone knows if this is an official pressing or a bootleg. It’s not a gatefold. Found at my local record store (North America).

I've seen My Bloody Valentine live twice in San Francisco and I blame them for my tinnitus -- which was totally worth it

hey guys i have absolutely nailed both the clean and distorted mbv tones but reverse reverb is on quite a few songs ( im specifically aiming for the slow and to here knows when tone ) BUTTTTTTTT WHY SO EXPENSIVE AND CONFUSING
im looking for a reverse reverb (or gated i actually dont know which is used on slow and twkw) that is £100 or under (ig maybe it can be slightly more expensive) also one i can get in the uk, nails the tone and it can be rack or pedal but i need a way of connecting it to my board and or amp

Fans dismayed as popster threatens to scrap it and start again from scratch

i wanted to do a tattoo of Kevin's amps basically, but the only clear pictures of them are from the 2025 tour. does anyone know if there any clear pictures or videos of the 2008, 2012, 2018 tpurs where i can see the amps neatly?

I love Isn’t Anything and I LOVE EVERYTHING BY TH’ FAITH HEALERS !

So, i’m looking all over internet to find tabs for you never should but all the tabs i find are really, i wouldn’t say bad but they don’t sound like the song at all, and they don’t match the hand placement kevin uses ( using this video to compare https://youtu.be/BRr1t-Y-aWY?si=HigkMWZjUaDBWGiO )
I found this person in youtube and tik tok that really does the same hand placement and makes it sound identical https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSbNSPc9n/ so, it someone can work out the tabs it would be amazing.

I am thinking of getting a tattoo, my first one to be specific. Now, before we get into the whole debate on whether getting a band tattoo is a good idea or not, this idea resonates with me on a different level outside of the band and the song.

The idea is to get "Turn My Head, Into Sound" on my arm. Its a line from Sometimes. That song means a lot to me in many ways. Im perusing a career in the music industry, so the lyric relates to that too.

I just wanna know if anyone has anything similar or any ideas how I could make it look cool. Im not sure if I just want to get the lyric or if I should get small artwork around it.

Any help would be great, Thank you!!

Kevin's Shields leaks again

Been reliving seeing them in Dublin a lot recently, most ethereal fucking awesome band I’ve ever seen. Never had music make me feel as many emotions as this band.

Suppose really it’s a just reminder to go no matter what if you have a chance next time they tour
