Listen up, anyone promoting a corporation or who I suspect is using this sub for promotion of a product will have their posts removed and be banned. Be nice, or so help me, I WILL make this a sub on people's favorite couples to ship in fandoms. Don't push me.

SpeedX Delivery

10 ft. From my front door. Driver drove up and threw the package out the window onto my driveway. SpeedX appears to hire the laziest. I’m grateful it wasn’t breakable and that I, not someone else drove over it. This is absolutely absurd! Conveniently, they only have chat bits and AI for customer service complaints. If I can choose a different service for delivery you can bet I will!

MyBaggage, 3 CLOWNS and a proverbial 3-ring Circus!! 🤡🤡🤡

• Upvotes

⭐ MYBAGGAGE: THREE CLOWNS, ONE CIRCUS, FOURTEEN DAYS OF INCOMPETENCE — AND A $271.91 ADMISSION TICKET.

MyBaggage: The company that markets convenience, charges for service, delivers chaos, and apparently thinks you're an idiot for shipping anything important.

If incompetence were an Olympic sport, MyBaggage would be standing on the podium, proudly accepting gold, silver, AND bronze.

I've spent years traveling internationally, but rarely have I encountered a company that managed to add so little value while creating so much frustration.

Let me tell you about my experience with this glorified shipping middleman.

And unlike their customer-service explanations, THIS STORY ACTUALLY HAS A TIMELINE.

THE PROMISE VS. THE CIRCUS

September 21, 2026 — The beginning of the nightmare.

I paid $271.91 to MyBaggage to ship a 55-pound bag from Colorado Springs, USA, to Nürnberg, Germany.

The bag contained essential motorcycle riding gear, protective clothing, tools, and equipment for an extended motorcycle journey across Europe.

I was thousands of miles from home, relying on that equipment to continue my travels safely.

Expected delivery: September 23–25.

Sounds simple enough, doesn't it?

You pay a company to arrange international shipping. They advertise delivery measured in days. They take your money. Your belongings arrive.

Except apparently at MyBaggage, that's where the fairy tale ends.

September 23–25 — The promised delivery window comes and goes.

No bag.

No meaningful resolution.

My carefully planned motorcycle trip is now being disrupted because I'm waiting for equipment I need on the road.

And the financial meter starts running.

Accommodation. Lost riding days. Rearranged plans. More waiting.

Every day costs money.

Every day costs opportunities.

Every day I'm paying the price for a service that isn't delivering what I was led to expect.

SEPTEMBER 28 — WELCOME TO THE MYBAGGAGE THREE-RING CIRCUS.

By now, I'm chasing answers through MyBaggage, DHL, and family members helping from Germany and the United States.

My cousin in Germany receives a call from DHL personnel in Leipzig indicating the bag is entering customs.

Approximately 15 minutes later, DHL requests my passport and travel itinerary.

Documents that had ALREADY been provided the previous week.

So we submit them AGAIN.

Meanwhile, information coming through other channels suggests the shipment is still being held in the United States, around Cincinnati.

LEIPZIG, GERMANY? CINCINNATI, OHIO?

These aren't exactly neighboring suburbs.

One side is communicating about German customs while another is indicating the shipment is still in America.

And MyBaggage, the company I PAID to coordinate this shipment?

Apparently unable to reconcile the contradictory information.

One representative tells me he's contacted a DHL U.S. account manager.

Hours pass before I receive a response.

SIX OR SEVEN HOURS WAITING FOR AN ANSWER IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE. IT'S A TEST OF HUMAN ENDURANCE.

And still, no clear resolution.

THREE CLOWNS. ONE CIRCUS. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY.

Enter the MyBaggage customer-service parade.

Matt. Mark. Harry.

Three different representatives. Three opportunities to demonstrate competence.

And from my perspective, three increasingly frustrating exercises in futility.

One clown after another, each seemingly less capable of providing an actual answer than the one before.

Or perhaps they weren't clueless at all.

Perhaps each was simply another rung higher on the bureaucratic ladder, equipped with a different title and the same apparent "I DON'T GIVE A RAT'S ASS — IT'S JUST A JOB" attitude.

Different names.

Same shoulder-shrugging.

Same lack of answers.

Same maddening absence of ownership.

The problem wasn't simply that they couldn't instantly fix an international customs delay.

THE PROBLEM WAS THAT THEY COULDN'T CONSISTENTLY EXPLAIN WHAT WAS HAPPENING, WHERE MY PROPERTY WAS, OR WHAT NEEDED TO HAPPEN NEXT.

I wasn't asking them to reinvent international logistics.

I was asking them to do the job they charged me to perform.

Apparently, that was an unreasonable expectation.

SEPTEMBER 28–OCTOBER 1 — THE BUREAUCRATIC BLACK HOLE.

Tracking and correspondence referenced a physical customs examination in Cincinnati.

Then came information about Leipzig.

Then another hold, this time involving consignee contact information.

More documentation. More confusion. More waiting.

At one point, I was told to expect movement within another 24–48 hours after customs clearance.

How many times can a customer be given another explanation, another escalation, another waiting period, before someone takes responsibility for coordinating the process?

My family and I were doing the legwork.

We were making calls.

We were chasing updates.

We were trying to reconcile conflicting information.

WE WERE DOING THE WORK THAT I THOUGHT I HAD PAID MYBAGGAGE TO HELP MANAGE.

And the financial consequences kept accumulating.

OCTOBER 3 — ANOTHER BILL.

As if the original $271.91 shipping charge and the mounting travel expenses weren't enough, I paid another €61.59 in DHL customs charges. Which I expected. It's a disclaimer along with no ownership of anything, just utterly misleading marketing directly on their website. 2–3 days, Express, WTF?

International customs charges can be legitimate. That's not the point.

The point is that I was navigating a complicated, drawn-out process while the company supposedly facilitating my shipment repeatedly failed to provide the clarity I needed.

WHAT EXACTLY WAS MYBAGGAGE CONTRIBUTING TO THIS TRANSACTION?

Because I could certainly identify what DHL was doing.

DHL was the actual carrier.

DHL had the shipment.

DHL personnel were involved in the customs and delivery process.

And ultimately, direct communication with DHL helped clarify matters that MyBaggage's customer-service merry-go-round had failed to explain adequately.

IT TOOK THE ACTUAL SHIPPING COMPANY TO HELP ME UNDERSTAND WHAT THE PAID MIDDLEMAN COULDN'T.

Let that sink in.

OCTOBER 5 — THE BAG FINALLY ARRIVES.

Fourteen calendar days after collection.

Ten to twelve days beyond the original September 23–25 delivery window.

My gear finally arrives in Germany.

By this point, my European motorcycle journey has been disrupted, my departure postponed, riding days lost, and my additional expenses have accumulated to approximately €3,500.

THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED EUROS.

All while I was overseas, waiting for protective riding equipment and weather-appropriate gear that I needed to continue safely.

And what did MyBaggage add to this experience?

Not reliable communication.

Not meaningful accountability.

Not an effective single point of contact.

Not the convenience I believed I was paying for.

THEY ADDED ANOTHER LAYER OF PEOPLE TO CHASE, ANOTHER LAYER OF CONFUSION, AND ANOTHER LAYER OF FRUSTRATION.

BUT WAIT — HERE COMES THE MOST SPECTACULARLY INSULTING PART.

During this ordeal, someone actually told me words to the effect of:

"YOU SHOULDN'T SHIP ANYTHING IMPORTANT."

I'm sorry.

WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL?

Did a representative of a company whose entire business is SHIPPING PEOPLE'S BELONGINGS seriously suggest that the problem was my decision to ship something important?

WHAT IN GOD'S NAME ARE CUSTOMERS SUPPOSED TO SHIP WITH YOU?

Empty cardboard boxes?

Yesterday's newspapers?

A bag full of packing peanuts?

Things they were going to throw in the garbage anyway?

People ship birthday presents to loved ones.

They ship gifts to grandchildren.

They ship business materials, work equipment, clothing, family possessions, and belongings with sentimental value.

PEOPLE SHIP THINGS PRECISELY BECAUSE THOSE THINGS MATTER TO THEM.

What an extraordinary insult to every customer who has ever trusted a shipping company with something meaningful.

Imagine a hotel telling you not to bring anything valuable because they might lose it.

Imagine an airline telling you not to pack anything you actually need.

Imagine a shipping company telling you not to ship anything important.

OH, WAIT. I DON'T HAVE TO IMAGINE THAT LAST ONE.

I PAID MYBAGGAGE FOR THE EXPERIENCE.

Perhaps they should revise their advertising:

"MYBAGGAGE — WE SHIP YOUR BELONGINGS. JUST DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF CARING ABOUT THEM."

Or better yet:

"MYBAGGAGE — PAY US TO ARRANGE SHIPPING, THEN CALL THE ACTUAL CARRIER WHEN YOU NEED REAL ANSWERS."

Now THAT would have been a more accurate description of my experience.

LET'S TALK ABOUT THE REAL PROBLEM: THE MIDDLEMAN WHO ADDS NO VALUE.

I'm not suggesting every customs delay is automatically MyBaggage's fault.

International shipping involves inspections, regulations, documentation, and circumstances outside an intermediary's control.

BUT COMMUNICATION, COORDINATION, TRANSPARENCY, AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT ARE PRECISELY WHERE A PAID INTERMEDIARY IS SUPPOSED TO ADD VALUE.

When something goes wrong, that's when a company's service actually matters.

And that's exactly where MyBaggage failed me.

If I'm forced to chase the carrier myself, coordinate through family members, repeatedly supply documents, untangle contradictory information, and demand basic updates, why am I paying an additional company to sit between me and the people doing the shipping?

WHAT AM I BUYING?

A booking interface?

A tracking number?

Three customer-service representatives who can't give me a coherent explanation?

A front-row seat to a bureaucratic circus?

Because from where I sat, stranded without my equipment and watching my additional expenses accumulate to €3,500, MyBaggage provided virtually no meaningful value when I needed it most.

I PAID FOR CONVENIENCE AND RECEIVED CUSTOMER DISSERVICE.

MY FINAL VERDICT: NEVER AGAIN.

Let's recap this spectacular performance.

$271.91 paid for the original shipment.

September 21: Bag collected in Colorado Springs.

September 23–25: Expected delivery window missed.

September 28: Contradictory information involving Cincinnati and Leipzig, plus repeated document requests.

Three MyBaggage representatives: Matt, Mark, and Harry — without the meaningful resolution I needed.

September 28–October 1: Customs, contact-information complications, repeated waiting, and escalating frustration.

October 3: Another €61.59 paid in customs charges.

October 5: Bag finally delivered, fourteen days after collection.

€3,500: Additional expenses associated with the disruption to my European motorcycle journey.

One unforgettable piece of advice: Apparently, I shouldn't have shipped anything important.

And the most infuriating part?

IT TOOK DHL, THE COMPANY ACTUALLY MOVING THE BAG, TO HELP CLARIFY THE PROCESS THAT MYBAGGAGE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING ME NAVIGATE.

MyBaggage didn't make a difficult shipping experience easier.

IN MY EXPERIENCE, THEY MADE AN ALREADY DIFFICULT EXPERIENCE EVEN MORE MISERABLE.

Three representatives.

A revolving door of explanations.

An apparent corporate philosophy of passing the problem along.

And a paying customer left wondering whether anyone at the company actually cared.

MYBAGGAGE: THREE CLOWNS, ONE CIRCUS, AND THE CUSTOMER PAYS FOR EVERY ACT.

Here's a suggestion for management:

If your company can't provide useful information, consistent communication, or meaningful assistance when a shipment goes wrong, stop pretending that charging customers to stand between them and a real carrier constitutes some extraordinary service.

And if your representatives genuinely believe customers shouldn't ship anything important, perhaps your company should get out of the business of shipping people's belongings.

Because people don't pay you to shrug your shoulders.

They don't pay you to pass them around.

They don't pay you to tell them they shouldn't have trusted you in the first place.

THEY PAY YOU TO PROVIDE A SERVICE.

And based on my experience, when that service was most needed, MyBaggage was about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

PISS OFF, MYBAGGAGE.

You got my $271.91.

I got fourteen days of aggravation, a disrupted motorcycle journey, €3,500 in additional expenses, and an unforgettable lesson in the difference between marketing a service and actually delivering one.

⭐ ONE STAR. AND THAT'S ONE MORE THAN THIS EXPERIENCE DESERVES.

My friend sent my documents from China to India through ExPlus Logistics. However, when I received the parcel, I found a bag of medals inside instead of my documents. What are the chances of recovering my documents?

Urgent shipment - mixed messages from UPS. Each person tells me something else.

Context:

Part 1: https://www.reddit.com/r/logistics/comments/1x3n8bc/urgent_help_needed_shipment_from_hong_kong_to/

Part 2: https://www.reddit.com/r/logistics/comments/1x4n9t7/i_called_dhl_and_the_forwarder_told_me_off_can/

UPS Customer Service Vienna told me 2-3 times that my parcels are in Vienna undergoing customs clearance.

So I travelled to Vienna to receive the order.

UPS Customs Clearance Hong Kong emailed me this morning that the parcels are still in Hong Kong and missing Tax ID (is that the EORI number??). Then updated me 1hr later that the shipment just left Hong Kong.

UPS CS supervisor just called and said the parcels are still in Hong Kong but they don't need any other docs/information from me to clear customs.

I don't know if anyone here can help me disentangle this but who knows. Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

Anyone have experience with EzClear?

I’m expecting a package from Japan and I received 2 emails from EzClear about brokerage fees. The information looks legit, the sender name, my email address, what the item is and what its value is. But I’ve never dealt with them, it’s either pay fees upfront with Canada post or fedex or whatever. Or pay at the door. Never had this experience and I looked up what others said and many people say it’s a scam, reviews for them are horrible, etc. so I’m not sure what to do before paying. Tried to track on Canada post but says a shipping label was created so I don’t know if it’s even coming through Canada post. Says it’s from CITILOGISTICS. Anyone with experience on this?

NEVER use gofo

im a really empathetic person. and I would never slander any worker for what they do because i know they’re doing what they can to survive. But GOFO is an exception.

I ordered something off of the tiktok shop. it said it will come after 3 days which okay pretty fast. 3 days passed. and it hasn’t even been sorted!! And i was like “okay maybe they’re running late it’s okay”. 10 WHOLE DAYS it took for the entire shipping process to happen.

At this point im pissed, the day of the delivery I called to see if I can put instructions on where to put it because there’s package thieves. They said they do actually! It told them what to put.

mind you all my packages come to my house before 1pm since i live in a small town. And by now it’s 6pm so i’m getting worried. I checked if they delivered it. To my suprise “insufficient address”.

THIS REPRESENTATIVE PUT THE INSTRUCTIONS AS THE ADDRESS!!!!!!!

I couldn’t call because they go by EST and it’s PST. And they just for some reason shut down ALL their communication channels at 9pm est. It was 6 pm pst.

So i lost my money and time. I’m beyond pissed.

Gofo shipping stucked for 6 days, and i live in LA. Am I cooked?

I've used Gofo a lot, and this is the first time this has happened to me. Normally, it gets delivered the same day after departing the GoFo regional hub, but it hasn't moved since last Friday. I contacted them twice, and the second time they asked me to verify my address, and then "address corrected" showed up on the tracking even though it's the same address. Am I cooked?

Dedcool not shipping out package

Hey, I was wondering if any of you had any advice for me, I just ordered a package on September 27th from Dedcool of a couple sample perfume packs and car fresheners, but it still hasn't been shipped out. I emailed them on the 8th and they got back to me saying that there was a delay in materials and can't even give me estimated range of time of when they think they will ship it out, has anyone else experienced this delay in shipping with Dedcool and is this common? I have seen issues with them being slow to be shipped out but I haven't really seen anything over like 14 days like this and was wondering if anybody knows anything that can help me?

Midland Courier never showed up to deliver my 4tires order, then said it was going back

Just want to share what happened to me, in case it helps someone else.

I ordered winter tires and wheels from 4tires.ca. Midland Courier was supposed to deliver them on October 8. I was home that whole day, but no one came. No call, no message, no note on my door. Nothing.

When I called Midland myself to ask where my package was, they told me it was going back to the 4tires warehouse. I was pretty surprised, because I was home and waiting.

Then a few minutes later, a Midland driver showed up at my door with the tires. It was October 14. I signed for them. So the package could be delivered the whole time, and nobody ever tried.

This was Midland's mistake and not 4tires.ca's. 4tires shipped it on time. I was home. Midland just didn't deliver it and didn't tell me anything.

Some tips if you're waiting on a big delivery:

Don't count on getting a notice. Check tracking and call the courier if the day passes.

If possible and you're buying tires from 4tires.ca, please ask them to use a different courier company.

Pirate ship questions

I’m a completely newbie when it comes to shipping stuff.. How trustworthy is pirateship? After purchasing a label, what will I expect them to send me? Is it just an image of the label? I don’t have a printer so how should I put the label onto the package? Can I go to USPS and have the workers print it for me?

Hi, I recently joined this company and dealing with an ATA Carnet problem from previous team. Some professional equipment was moved from UK to Poland, under two carnets - and they were driven to Poland in 2 Uk-registered vans. Now, both the vans and equipment need to stay in Poland.

I think I am clear what to do with the equipment, but unsure how to deal with the vans? I dont know how it was declared when originally leaving the UK in the first place, I dont have any ATA Carnet to cover them.

Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks so much!

Has anyone here had any experience shipping perfumes through sea shipping (2+ month to arrive)?

Hai!

I'm interested in buying some Limited perfumes for collectors in China. For context they come in big boxes so they should be safe throughout the shipping.

My biggest fear is the final quality of the fragance. The fragance it's floral and woody.

Can anyone pls share they experience of the final quality if they brought perfumes? That took at least 2.5 to 4 months to arrive
