went back to uni last year as a mature student (an ungrateful 27 years old) and although I haven't had trouble making friends, I swear the kids are much shier, more insular and often even ruder than they used to be. maybe it's just that I'm old and they think I'm weird/ a more general teenage angst, but I'm not so sure. anyone else had any comparable experiences?

And then asking for him to stop talking so loudly. The most normal behaviors of all time are "symptoms."

I can only speak from my experience as a really really really ridiculously good looking male, but a lot of women WILL get bitter if you don't give them the attention they want, and they'll try to tear you down to cope with their feelings of inadequacy

I'm very frustrated with the frequency of which this keeps occurring in our close friends. I feel terrible for these really cool ladies who end up trapped for various reasons with these guys who masked for an amount of time and then let it all hang loose.
