If I have an 7800xt and a game has official Fsr 4, do I still need to enable it through adrenalin?

All worked fine with the 5080 but now the system is unstable. Not doing any OC or downclocking.

I read some of the advice and I think most of them is not acceptable:

- Degrade RAM performance to JDEC levels. How is this acceptable?

- Limit the power below stock settings. How is this acceptable?

Any other idea? Windows 11 is a fresh install. Using the latest driver.

Whenever I change volume in a full screen game for iRacing there is a noticeable lag. Anyway to keep playing fullscreen and resolve this lag?

Bought a 9070 GRE for $416 open box at micro center before taxes almost 3 weeks ago - now a 9070XT has shown up open box for $720. Both cards are powercolor reapers, my gre is still in the return window

Is it worth the upgrade with these prices? Im not exactly unsatisfied with the GRE but i am thinking about long term (16gb vs 12gb vram) and the faster gpu

Hace un tiempo también tuve ese mismo problema con el tema de la velocidad de ventiladores y ese sonido tan molestó que producía, de hecho por eso mismo termine llegando a esta comunidad de reddit, trate de todas las maneras que desapareciera, cambie el orden de ventiladores, etc

Al final me termine acostumbrando

Hoy me dieron ganas de volver a poner los ventiladores en su orden de fábrica, así que volví a desarmar la gráfica y cuando la instalé en mi PC me puse a hacer pruebas con las velocidades de los ventiladores, pero seguía con el mismo problema y, de hecho, cuando llegaban al 100 % empezaba a escucharse un silbido metálico. Así que volví a desarmarla y me di cuenta de que había doblado un poco la punta de una de las aletas del disipador, la enderecé y cai en cuenta que si una cosa tan minúscula podía generar ese ruido, qué me decía a mí que el ruido molesto no era justamente por la vibración de los ventiladores con el aluminio del disipador

Proceso de solucion:

Primero suben la velocidad de los ventiladores hasta que empiecen a sonar como en el video. Una vez que aparezca el ruido, van parando los ventiladores uno por uno con el dedo sin hacer tanta presión hasta identificar cuál tiene el problema. Luego apagan el equipo, desarman la placa y se quedan con la parte de los ventiladores. Lo único que deben hacer es colocar una capa muy delgada de espuma o algún material similar que amortigüe la vibración en el centro del ventilador que presenta el ruido, y con eso debería desaparecer.

Hasta ahora he hecho pruebas con todas las velocidades y no lo he vuelto a escuchar.

I had try only one game yet (valorant ) i noticed that taking much time to launch (it seem like needs same time with my old card 1660ti )
I installed amd driver already and i loaded all drivers that my pc needs

Good morning everyone, I've owning my 9070 XT for a year now, and a few months ago I had the same problem, I uninstalled the drivers in order to get a new version, I used DDU and after that I installed the new drivers but after restart I couldn't do nothing, I can't open browser, discord, any game etc, in the first photo it shows the AMD software and seconds later no

Can anyone help me please? I did the same steps that work me before

1. Secure mode

2. DDU and clean all drivers for the GPU

3. install the last drivers

But this time keeps happening

It took A LOT. Had to build a sniffer in python to figure out how polysync controlled the rgb, figure out which hex was color, which hex was for which rgb group (top, front, fans), figure out how to udp into signal over network, then design a python backend to communicate with the udp and the amd drivers that control the rgb. It works GREAT though at 30fps. Scared to go any higher in fear of overloading the controller. The only thing I couldn't figure out is how to send ARGB commands so each group lights on its own instead of each led being addressable, but after almost 6 hours I was done messing with it and more than happy how it turned out. I also put it all through a compiler and made a windows .exe so it would install and run in the background instead of having to have a powershell console running foreground to make it work. Im happy as a lark.

So with the gpu prices going up crazily especially the past few weeks i am wondering if i should wait another month and get the gpu then or straight up buy it rn cuz currently the cheapest one i can find is like 860€ and keep in mind, two days ago it was 817 and a week ago it was 760€. So i am wondering if its even worth waiting cuz the discount is prolly not even gonna be worth it by then

I currently have a 4k monitor, I have the dell s3225qc, but I’m wanting a more immersive experience in world of Warcraft forever and looking at the Alienware 39” 5k2k, currently I feel like 4k is easily drivable with the right settings, but I guess what I’m wondering is for anyone using this combo of monitor and card how does 5k2k feel with it?

Built myself a new system, got a Powercolor hellhound and everything is in my ssupd Xhuttle case. Now I'm finding that GPUs mounted vertically can have cooling issues on the die. Tested out my card and sure enough while running Valheim, I'm getting a hotspot temp of 109c in Adrenaline.

I don't want to risk damaging the card and I'm still within my return window so I'm now looking for a GPU that can work well in a vertical orientation. SSUPD's website recommends a graphics card with a vapor chamber or reverse-gravity heatpipes. I'm looking on line but I can't seem to find anything concrete.

Anyone have recommendations for cards that can stay cool vertically?

Greetings everyone I just finished building my first ever pc with a 9070xt swift, 9800x3d, tomahawk max b850 and was wondering what kind of programs I should download to tune my pc. Stuff like fan control, undervolting maybe and such. I had a laptop and used throttlestop but I dont think that works for amd?

I heard something called Adrenaline could do all this stuff? Is that what I should download or are there some other separate programs that are just overall better instead of the all in one solution.

Please help me before i spend another bomb on psu after i gave everything i have to buy this one.

EDIT: Adding some details since they probably matter: • CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X

• GPU: XFX Mercury RX 9070 XT OC, which recommends an 800W PSU

• Current PSU: Corsair HX750i 750W Platinum

• I can power the GPU with 3 separate PCIe cables, one for each 8-pin connector

• I already ordered a Gigabyte UD1000GM PG5 V2 1000W, but I can return it if I don't actually need it

• I'm not planning any GPU overclocking. I'll run it stock initially and may undervolt later for efficiency.

So the real question is: would you keep the HX750i and run the Mercury on it, or since I already have the 1000W PSU coming, would you just install that and be done with it?

I am having an issue with the integrated graphics on my Ryzen 7 9850X3D system.

My specs:
• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D
• GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 9070 XT PULSE
• Motherboard: ASUS TUF B650-E
• OS: Windows 11 Pro

I removed my current driver using DDU and installed the latest 26.8.1 driver but for some reason, my IGPU is not recognised in task manager and shows up as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter in device manager. I have the latest chipset drivers as well so not sure what is going on. Any help would be appreciated!

i like to play triple AAA games on ultra settings

i want to play gta 6 when it comes out at 2k ultra settings

that is the main reason i am upgrading

i have 1300$ usd to try to do that

i wanted rtx 5070 ti but its overpriced idk if buying it now to rely on dlss in the future or just buy a new gpu then

plus lowkey i dont wanna miss on dlss mfg dlss5 emulators anyps5 project but damn it is overpriced

the psu should i upgrade it or choose a 2 8 (6+2) pin rx 9070 xt

should i sell my cpu motherboard (which i have no experiance in selling btw) to get a good am4 cpu like ryzen 7 5700 x3d or just upgrade to a i5 14th gen to try to stay on lga 1700

of course ddr5 isnt an option rn so

as i said i really want to play GTA6 and other openwold games like CRIMSON DESERT on 2k ultra settings

side note i am used to doing that on my rtx 3050 relying on dlss and i am usually ok with 40 50 fps recent games that became soooo hard even for me to accept

At first we though it was while fsr, since clair obscur was running fine without it.

Instale manualmente la versión 26.9.2 para jugar E-day y no ha dejado de dar tirones y cuelgues, el sonido sigue normal en ocasiones y cierres con regreso a Windows, le instale la versión anterior que tenía y todo parecía ir bien hasta que cuando abri el menú iba super lento.

Hey guys. I was recently gifted a Red Devil 9070xt. My previous card was a 3060 paired with an I5 10400f 32gb ram.

I was aware I’d have a bottle neck but most games are running worse than before. Destiny 2 is nearly unplayable due to extremely low 99% fps. It feels very choppy. Is this normal behaviour? I’ve looked around and I’m seeing conflicting reports.

Edit: I used the tuning tips from a user in this thread and also enabled radeon chill to force my idle fps/fps to 80 frames. This brought my 99% fps closer and reduced choppiness (not completely, I’d still say it’s not a smooth experience). Can anyone help explain what’s happening here?
