Meme What pokemon do you despise for no real reason?
I despise this dang bird for no real reason. I’m sure there are better choices for this question, but this is mine. What’s yours?

Infographic Bramblin candies
Since bramblin is here. I just wanna remind everyone that you can get bramblin not just in the research, by using incense too if you want to evolve him right away

Shiny Very cool, very grateful. Now can I please get a different one 😭
I went months without even encountering a Galar bird, now I got 2 shinies within 10 days…..but it had to be a duplicate.

Non AR Screenshot Gym fully stacked with lil cutie pies
This gym was full so I couldn’t drop off one of my mons, but I just thought it was adorable. Usually I see gyms full of larger powerful Pokémon, but this just so cute 🥹

Idea Really the only way to deal with your mons being kicked out of the gym after 2 mins
I read tons of posts from people being bothered on both sides. I understand f2p (as me) need pokécoins, and others just want to grind on gyms point, but it can be frustrating. I think the only way to deal with it is try to communicate. I don't know them in person and honestly would never approach a stranger, so I searched their username on Campfire and now I just hope they read notifications 👀

Idea Scopely: Please reduce the Forever Friend trade cool down window!
Day 1, Level 80 player here. Aside from rarer shinies, I pretty much have everything and am definitely plateauing these days.
But Remote Trades are ADDICTING and I love trying to wheel and deal BUT 90 days between resetting as Forever Friends is just EXCRUCIATING.
I know, I know, build a pipeline so you're always hitting new FFs but six months from New Friend to FF is a haul.
I'd honestly say remove it entirely but could get behind at least 30 days?
I also think they should nuke one Remote Trade per day (just seems arbitrarily limiting), but baby steps?
Thanks for coming to my PokéTedTalk. 🥰

Story Bit of a flex :D
What’s your rarest shadow shiny? Mines palossand I think as it’s only just came out and I’ve not seen anyone else have one yet. Was only my second palossand grunt too!

Complaint Welcome to Mild Area: expensive Max Battles and an organizing nightmare
I’ve been playing Pokémon GO as a Community Ambassador for roughly a year and a half. From that perspective, this Wild Area is shaping up to be one of the most frustrating event designs I’ve dealt with.
There are two problems here: the cost of participating in the headline battles, and the amount of organization required to make those battles accessible to an actual community.
1. The headline battle debuts all want the same currency
Gigantamax Duraludon, Dynamax Dialga and Dynamax Palkia all require Max Particles. Yes, the weekend also has conventional raids, including the Kyurem fusions. I’m not pretending those don’t exist. But the three headline battle debuts are all inside the Max system.
Assuming the expected 800 MP per max raid, the announced daily collection limits represent two battles’ worth without a ticket or four with one. That’s before saved particles, research, check-in rewards or any collection overshoot, so it is not a hard limit on how many battles someone can do. But it is still a pretty small starting allowance for an entire day featuring multiple Max bosses.
Once that allowance is gone, continuing means finding additional Max Particles. Your ordinary raid passes don’t solve that problem. Remote players have it worse: joining a Max Battle remotely requires both a Remote Raid Pass and the relevant Max Particles. It isn’t one or the other.
And you can’t really save up during the lead-up week either, as you will receive more legendary Dynamax Raids: Registeel, Regidrago, and Latios and Latias.
Aaaand… if the reported Eternatus return happens through Max Battles again, that adds another reason for players to hold back their resources rather than spend freely throughout the lead-up and weekend. The exact details aren’t confirmed, but that possibility certainly doesn’t make the event feel less expensive.
However, the money is only half of my problem.
2. Four-player battles create work that the event announcement doesn’t show
Dynamax battles have a four-player limit. Gigantamax battles and Eternamax Eternatus support much larger shared battles, even though participants are divided into smaller teams within them. That distinction matters enormously when you’re organizing for a community.
Having twelve people show up does not automatically mean you have three teams capable of winning.
Maybe several players have properly developed counters. Others are newer, more casual, or haven’t invested heavily in Max Pokémon. Put all your strongest players together and they might have a great time, while the remaining groups struggle.
So somebody needs to check who has what, distribute the stronger players, explain the battles, arrange the groups and help the people who arrive late.
As a CA, that somebody is usually me.
I don’t object to helping people. That is part of why I became a CA. But there is a difference between organizing a meetup and having to manually arrange viable teams throughout an event… for 7 days in a row?
One featured Dynamax Legendary available for a week? Fine. We can pick a time, prepare for it and help people get it.
Successive featured Max Battle evenings, followed by a weekend with Dialga on one day and Palkia on the other, are a different proposition. That is repeated team organization, not one meetup you arrange and then enjoy, specially with competing interests in Max raids…
3. The players who can help also have their own event to play
Imagine someone turns up during Wild Area and still needs their Dynamax Dialga.
Some people are hunting Mighty Pokémon. Some are doing conventional raids. Some want Duraludon. Others have already done their Dialga battles and don’t want to spend any more particles on it.
That player can be standing in the middle of an active community and still struggle to find a suitable group. You cannot fix a four-player battle by inviting another ten people. You need a particular combination of available, interested and sufficiently prepared players.
And this is where the cost and organization problems meet.
The people best equipped to help are being asked to spend their own limited resources on somebody else’s priorities.
They might happily help once. But expecting the same small pool of prepared players to keep doing additional battles throughout the event is a much bigger ask. They have Pokémon they want to hunt too. They have budgets too.
“Just find your community” does not magically create unlimited strong players with unlimited particles and unlimited patience.
Remote access doesn’t solve the team problem either. It gives someone a way to join, but it doesn’t guarantee that the other three players form a team capable of carrying an underprepared participant. For a less experienced player, choosing a suitable lobby becomes another obstacle.
This is supposed to be an event, not a scheduling job
I’m not asking for every battle to be soloable, and I’m not saying every challenge should disappear.
I’m saying that repeatedly requiring carefully balanced four-player groups, while making those players compete over limited particles and several different event activities, creates a lot of avoidable friction.
My concern is that people will miss out despite showing up, stronger players will feel pressured to keep helping, and organizers will spend much of their time dealing with the resulting frustration.
Having conventional raids available is good. It doesn’t fix that problem. In some situations, it gives the players you need for a Dynamax group another perfectly reasonable reason to be doing something else.
Personally, Duraludon is not exciting enough to make me overlook all of this. As announced, the Max side of the event feels like a cash grab with a massive organizing burden attached.
I’ve already cancelled Sendai - the first ticketed event I eill miss for more than a year - for myself. Not because I don’t care about my community, but because I don’t want to keep putting extra time and effort into making this kind of design work, then have that participation treated as proof that it was a great event.
I want to organize a community meetup and enjoy playing with people.
I don’t want to spend Wild Area and the leadup to it sorting everyone into groups and working out who can still afford to help.

Non AR Screenshot Wugtrio in the mountains?!
I just popped an incense at a parking lot in the Swiss Alps and lo and behold, Wugtrio shows up instantly.
I've only ever caught these worms when on vacation at the beach..
Is this new?! Has it always been available from near rivers?

Luckily this game is so intense and lagged enough that before the Professor could pop up and remove this screen, posting the video version shortly soon after.

Non AR Screenshot 10 billion trade meters done!
Well, that was brutal...
A bit over 10,000 trades. 13 trips to the moon and back.
Day 1 player, left in 2018, returned in 2025 currently level 76.
What's the grindiest platinum you've earned so far?
I'm halfway through the routes one and even worse on the battle leagues and training one...

AR Shot The final piece of my Galarian puzzle...
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Well I said I would only use my last Masterball on this non-shiny Galarian Moltres, I have shinies of them all now and normal Zapdos chicken and Purple Articuno 💜 but no normal Galarian Moltres....till this morning! So many have fled on me that I just had to do it for my own sanity 🤣
Appeared just before I arrived at work and has made my day 💪🫡😁...what catch has made your day today or something recently? 🫶❤️

Non AR Screenshot No idea when this was added but thank you Scopely for not allowing me to transfer a wild hundo accidentally
Almost threw away a hundo, I almost never check IVs of random wild pokemon. It was a doduo and getting a wild hundo is so rare.

Question Do remote traders care for Pokemon older than 6 years?
I've been holding on to a bunch of Pokemon from years 2018-2020 in hopes of being able to trade them with somebody one day that wants them. Now that Remote Trading is here, I'm wondering if these are even desired anymore because all I see in the Remote Trading spaces online people only care for shinies, fully evolved pokemon that has adventure requirements to evolve, legendaries, regionals, or a combination of 2 or more of the mentioned details, but none seem to be interested in pokemon from 2018-2020. I know that people would only desire older pokemon to have better luck in getting Lucky Pokemon after trading, and even then getting Lucky Trades are not that difficult anymore through Lucky Trinkets and random luck. Would love to hear everybody's opinion on this, otherwise I would just like to transfer them to make space in my Pokemon storage.
Edit: I did find out way later that the other Player you're doing trades with would not be able to see the nicknames of the Mon you labelled for Remote Trading, so all that effort was for nothing lol, unless the other player actively seek out older Mon by typing the search terms in the search bar.

Question What do people get out of deleting you when just becoming forever friends?
Honestly, I'm not a massive player by any stretch but I just spent months gifting a person day in, day out, and the day we were meant to become forever friends (which would have been my first one and opened remote trading) today, they collected my final gift and deleted me?
Am I missing something with this or is it just a troll kinda thing?
Had a crap day and was somewhat looking forward to it and now just annoyed and posting on here!

Question I've returned but… what do I do?
Hey hey hey, greetings fellas! So let's get to the point: the last time I actively played this game was in 2018. After that, I tried to come back in 2023 and 2020, but only for a week or two. But now I’ve been playing for more than a month and don't really want to stop so… I know the game has changed a lot so I’d appreciate a few pieces of advice on how a person should play Pokémon Go in 2026?
