Hi all,

As the title suggests, i recently bought an eshop code from a reputable retailers but get this error code when i try to redeem? I checked on nintendo website and it says its linked to their system being down for maintenance?

If it helps, i only bought the e-code a 30 mins ago, maybe it hasnt activated or synced? and im based in the UK. Thanks

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if you think there's any chance the Nintendo Switch 2 Zelda Edition will get a restock by early November. My best friend’s birthday is coming up, and I think it would make the absolute best gift.

A friend of mine is traveling to the US and offered to bring it back for me, but she’ll only be there in early November. If it doesn't restock then, I won't have another chance to get it. Do you think a quick restock around those days is realistic, or will it take longer? (I’m pretty confident there will be one, but wanted to get your thoughts).

Thanks in advance!

Has anyone else had any issues playing Wind Waker on NSO with the GameCube controller? I recently started playing it and have been having a borderline awful time with how slippery the movement sticks feel in game. I have ran across a few threads discussing this issue, but the looking controllers and movement feel like the sensitivity is cranked up to 100 even with the slightest movement. I had no issues like this with the N64 NSO controller, but the game is awful to play with the controllers atm. I literally struggled to walk up to a ladder in one of the dungeons. It doesnt seem to be as bad with the Joycons, but I like to play the games with their intended original controllers if possible. Has anyone had any luck fixing it, or of its an issue with the launch batch of the controllers.

This error has been haunting me and my friend for like 5 years now, and it’s only Smash bros that causes this. We’ve restarted our routers but nothing resolves the issue. Any reasons why this is happening?

So I’m trying to play Final Fantasy IX on my Switch 2 and this pops up every time I try to play the game. I tried deleting and reinstalling the game to see if it fixed anything, but nope. It still takes me to this screen every time I try to boot FFIX. I did buy this game through Nintendo eShop so I wonder if it’s a glitch. Has this happened to anybody and is there a way to fix this?

I don't want to look up a guide because I don't want to be told exactly what to do. I wanted to figure it out myself. But damn, I can't figure out where to go.

I've beaten 2 of the 6 main temples, and I have the candle and the glove.

Any path forward is blocked by a boulder, and I do not yet have the hammer.

There's a town across the river that "only locals can cross."

A lady in town is missing her mirror.

That's all I have to go by. Does anyone happen to know where I should go next? Could you guide me in the right direction, please? I beat Zelda 1 with only the included map and manual, I figured i could do the same with Zelda 2. And I'm stuck a few hours in. 😭

Thanks for reading, thanks for possibly helping. ✌️

I have Ori and the Blind Forest (I have the Definitive Edition, and it's on digital, if it helps), and I decided to link my Microsoft account to it, but since I did, the game has started shutting down as soon as I enter the main menu.

I tried checking if there were corrupted files (there weren't) and redownloaded the game to see if it would start (it didn't). I found that I can only start playing if I'm offline; if I go online while playing, then quit to main menu, the game crashes again.

Is this a cross-compatibility glitch or something? How do I revert things to the way they were? I can't even find an option to unlink the account.

When I’m playing on My switch 2 the joycons keep on disconnecting randomly so first I was like ok maybe I need to clean the place where the joycons snap on so I clean them the same problem keeps on happening I was wondering if someone could help me

Hi, I'd like to buy a non official Switch controller. I know the non official ones can't power up the console if in sleep mode like the joycons or Nintendo pro controllers, so you have to turn on the console at first. But I'd like to know if the non official controllers are at least recognized by the Switch on the lock screen (where you have to press a button 3 times to unlock) or you have to enter the home screen. Thanks in advance.

My wife and I (53F, 52M) recently got into Nintendo gaming by discovering BOTW on our son’s orphaned Wii U. Fast forward a year later and my wife, who never gamed before, pressured me into buying a Switch 2 (not a lot of pressure required)

The Wii U was once again orphaned, but our good friend (38M) who is on the spectrum is a huge video game lover and collects vintage consoles. So we gifted him our Wii U along with the small number of games we had (including BOTW). He loves it and has nearly finished BOTW and also plays TOTK on our Switch2 whenever he cat sits for us.

ANYWAY, his birthday is coming up soon and I want to buy him a used Wii U game. Any recommendations for the best games for Wii U? He loves the modern Zelda open world games and he also loves Kirby Dreamland on the original Wii. So open world and platformers seem to be his jam.

when I tried entering the ship It told me I need to put the password in but I don’t know it. When I sent an email to my phone to reset it I was brought to a page where it asks to put in my nickname or my date of birth, I thought I put the correct info for both but it still won’t let me in. I check my console info and it makes me scan another QR but I don’t know the password to enter the page the QR Is sending me

Hello, my question is about Nintendo Kids account and how the relate back to the main parental account.

My son currently has Minecraft on a kid account linked to my main account on his own switch. If I was to buy another copy of Minecraft on my switch, could we play local LAN or would there be an account issue?

I have tried google and cannot get a clear answer.

Thank you in advance.

Hello, i recently bought a new battery for my switch because my other one went completely flat. i got one today which arrived in the post. however, its making a high pitched sound when i plug it in so i unplugged it again immediately.

does anyone know if its an issue with the battery? or theres something wrong with my switch itself

the brand i bought the battery off of was called pickle power if that helps

I was going to play after a tiring day and when I went to turn on my switch 2 it did but then it turned off and when I held the button for over 40 seconds nothing happened, I've tried charging it, nothing plus it was over 50% battery, I tried calling nintendo and they said "oh idk send it to us" didn't even think for a second about it, I tried docking it and again, for a second it worked and then poof, it was off and nothing to do, from then on I haven't been able to turn it on again and the software is all updated, I really need help with this

Model:

Nintendo Switch 1

Problem:

26.0.1 update bricked the wifi again. During the second to last update, I let the battery fully discharge. That solved the problem. It's fixed it every time this happens, and it only happens following an update. This time, the wifi just won't turn on. It gives an error code 2110-118.

What I've tried

• Completely discharging the battery until the screen won't even come on, and leaving it for a few days following that
• Restarting multiple times
• Powering off and powering on multiple times
• Hard power off, wait 10sec, then turn on multiple times
• Clearing cache multiple times
• Tried plugging my phone into it and doing a USB tether for wifi
• Crying

Nothing is working. Any suggestions? This isn't a hardware issue, as it worked completely fine prior to the update.

So I’m at a point with my dock where, I’m currently trying to connect my switch 2 to the dock but it’s not working and idk what the issue is, my switch adapter stopped working so I’m using a cable with the adapter plug n it seems to make a difference, when I connect th switch the light on the adapter flashes twice but then doesn’t connect, but at the same time my switch is charging when connected to the dock. It isn’t a hdmi cable issue since I’ve used my brothers which he uses all the time for his pc. I truly don’t know what to do n I don’t wana spend 80 quid on a new dock but it’s looking like I might

My left joycon hasn't been charging in the last 2 days, but has worked perfectly fine since then! I've used it on PC with bluetooth for emulators, but I still paired the controller with the Switch the other night. The Switch wasn't plugged in when I took this video, either! I've also cleaned both sides of the Joy-Con & Console with Rubbing Alcohol, and still nothing!

My brother's birthday is in a few days and I'd like to pre-order him the upcoming OOT re-make. I've had issues navigating the E-shop in the past so wanted to get some advice on the best way to do this.

He isn't a collector by any means, so digital download would be absolutely fine. If I buy it on my account can I send him a code of some kind, or do I need to sneak into his account and make the purchase through there using my credit card? (His wife can help me get into their account if needed).

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated here!
