If you want to know the plot (which is fair, I don't see many reprints of this), think "Better Off Dead" if John Cusack died in the skiing competition, became a ghost, and is still a loser even in haunting everybody.

He chats with AI and learns he can use it to create funny video clips.

He decides to generate a movie about the rise of AI and spends days generating multiple clips allowing the AI to write the story itself.

The AI's story evolves into an arc about a person who lost his job and they story seems to parallel OPs life almost exactly, even incorporating details that the author never told the AI about.

OP is scared but still waits patiently for the AI to generate the next clip to know what his life is about.

The AI's story soon turns dystopian and he laughs it off. Then OP looks out the window and sees the same dystopia.
